Suge Knight Accuses Dr. Dre of Paying $20k to Have Him Killed

Suge Knight has accused Dr. Dre of spending $20,000 to have him killed.

According to TMZ, the rap mogul filed this claim in documents submitted in court recently, alleging that the mercenary his former Death Row Records colleague employed for the job was a man named Dwayne Johnson.

Knight said he and a private investigator met Johnson in July 2016, that they both saw the said cheque Dr. Dre wrote for partial payment for “Dwayne Johnson to participate in (his) murder.” He added that the killing was intended for same day in January 2015 when Knight was involved in that hit-and-run accident that left another man dead.

Recall that Suge Knight was remanded in prison after he ran over Terry Carter in 2015 during the filming of the NWA biopic. At first, Knight was kicked out of the movie location but he returned and ended up running over two men, killing one. After he was arrested, Suge claimed he returned to the site to make peace with Dr Dre but had to flee for his life when the man he ran over attempted to shoot him.

Thus, Suge Knight accused Dr. Dre of ordering his death and requested for the court to allow his team to comb through Dre’s records to prove their claims. But Dre’s lawyers called the accusation “absurd” and TMZ adds that the judge has denied the motion, tossing the accusation out of court.

This is a big L for Suge Knight.
