Kenneth Copeland – See Yourself Risen With Jesus [SPECIAL SERMON]

Topic: See Yourself Risen With Jesus [Saturday August 19, 2017]

Constantly keep in mind Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] risen from the dead… – 2 Timothy 2:8, The Amplified Bible

This is the key to holding on to the blessings of God. When pressure comes, when troubles and trials are bearing down on you, remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead!

Remember that when Jesus arose, you arose. When He came out of hell and defeated the enemy, you came out of hell and defeated the enemy. His victory is your victory because you’re in Him.
In the hard places, remember that. When the devil tells you you’re not going to get your answer this time, remember that. When he tells you there’s no way out, you remember Christ, the Anointed One, the Victorious Conqueror, risen from the dead and seated at the right hand of the Father!
If there’s an image Satan hates more than any other, it must be that image of Jesus, rising from the dead, stripping him forever of his authority, and openly displaying his defeat to all of heaven and hell. That’s the picture you need to keep in the forefront of your mind. Think about it until it’s etched into your heart so deeply that nothing Satan says or does can get it out of you.
That’s when the gifts of God will be established in your life. That’s when the devil won’t be able to talk you out of your inheritance with trials and tribulations. Keep in mind Jesus Christ, risen from the dead!

Scripture Reading: Hebrews 12:1-13

Every Man In Our Neighbourhood Knows What My Wife Looks Like Naked - Man Begs Court To Dissolve His 2-Year Old Marriage

A Kabiru Bakare has approached Oja Oba/Mapo Court C Customary Court, Mapo, Ibadan, Oyo State, for the disillusionment of his 2-year old marriage to wife Funmilola Bakare, due to her being troublesome and wayward.

“My wife is a lay about. She sleeps around and every man in our neigbourhood can tell what she looks like without her clothes.
“I have bore enough shame because of her embarrassing act, I can’t go further with her in our marriage. “
“My wife has completely failed in her duties as a homemaker. Immediately I leave home in the morning, she also leaves the house looking untidy and dirty and wanders all over the place. “Her major occupation is to hop from one bed to another. My ears are full of her escapades in the neighbourhood.
“She has turned me into laughing stock in our neighbourhood because only a few men have not seen her nakedness.
“She once left home early in the morning and left our one-year-old baby in my care. She gave the impression she would be back in a short while, but she didn’t. The baby became restless after some time and cried all day. I tried to call her on the phone, but it was switched off. She returned in the evening. I later learnt she was at one of her lovers’ party, “the plaintiff stated.
“I used to report her to her parents initially, but I stopped doing so because they were always in her support.
“She and her parents later accused me of kidnapping our child because I took the baby away from her due to her wayward ways, “he told the court.

“I’m not prepared to stay a minute more under his roof, “Funmilola said in court.
“He feels threatened any time he sees me with other men, because he has failed in all regards as a man.
“It’s only a jobless man that monitors his wife’s movement. I gain nothing still staying in marriage with him. I accede to his prayer of divorce and pray the court to grant me custody of our nearly two-year-old child, the defendant said.

The court president, Chief Ademola Odunade, decided both party no longer loved each other and dissolved the marriage.

Ruling, he ordered their marriage dissolved and granted the defendant custody of their only child.

‘Nothing wrong in entertainers running for political office’ – Jaywon

Nigerian singer, Jaywon, sees nothing wrong in Nigerian entertainers such as fellow singer, Kcee, running for a political office.

Kcee and Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, are among the gubernatorial aspirants in the coming elections in Anambra State.

And Jaywon in an interview with Saturday Beats has defended them amid criticism from some quarters over their ambitions to hold a political office.

‘For me, nothing is wrong in Kcee or any entertainer wanting to run for political office. As long as you have what it takes to run and you show how credible that you are, people will definitely vote for you.’

He added, ‘The fact that the constitution was amended and gives a lot of people room to run, so the first set of people to run should be careful because of the future of the young ones coming behind them.

‘For me as an entertainer, I love my people in Kogi State and I am passionate about the youths there. That’s why I have promised myself that I will support all the younger generation of entertainers coming out from Kogi State.’

This Is The Secret To Sound Sultan’s Successful Marriage

Singer, Sound Sultan, has been married to his sweetheart, Chichi Morah, since October 1, 2009, and their marriage has been waxing stronger ever since. At a time when some celebrities’ marriage lasts for a couple of months, the Bushmeat singer has been able to maintain a peaceful marriage and he shared some of his secrets with Saturday Beats.

He said he is a very lucky man to have married a wife who does not like to be in the limelight as he blamed the social media for most of the marriage break-ups happening in the entertainment industry.

No marriage is perfect just like you have feuds in families and they settle within themselves. It is the people that you are closest to that get you angry the most compared to people that you probably see once in a week because you don’t live with the person so you cannot truly know the person’s character. If you have a family member that you think you do not see eye to eye, they are the ones that have your back. At the end of the day, you need to understand the concept of family before you make a decision or make a spectacle of whatever you have going on in your life.

“Social media has been responsible for a lot of marriage and relationship break-ups. I have a song that speaks on this sort of thing. I am always online everyday just like every other person but the truth is that you do not know who is praying for you and those who do not want you to exist.

“My wife does not even like the limelight at all. If she is at an event with me, you would not even know she is my wife, you would just see her as one of the guests with the way she would blend with people. Without me taking all the glory, I think that has helped my marriage,” he said.

The singer advised both his friends, fans and family to stop trying to impress strangers because it could be a pitfall.

“At the end of the day, it is the people that you are trying to impress that would bring you down because you are looking for validation from strangers. You do not need that; you just need to be yourself. They would still love you and your product eventually so you don’t have to show people you have money. If my presence shows that, fine! There are many entertainers whose marriage is doing wonderfully well. If I see the Goge Africa couple, I am always wowed and same goes with Tunde and Wunmi Obe. They so much understand each other and they are like twins,” he said.

Uber driver rapes unconscious woman in his home after she falls asleep in his car

An East Village Manhattan woman suffered a terrifying ordeal Thursday when she passed out in an Uber car and the driver took her to his apartment and raped her, police sources said.

The 31-year-old victim called for an Uber at E. 52nd St. and 2nd Ave. about 2 a.m. She told the 47-year-old driver to take her home and then fell asleep in the car, sources said.

According to the NY Times, the twisted cabbie took her to his apartment and raped her while she was still unconscious, sources said. She woke up, realized with shock that she wasn’t home and confronted the driver.
“I used protection — please don't call police,” he said according to police sources.
She fled his home and reported what happened to police she found nearby on 41st Road and College Point Blvd. She told police she had a few drinks before hailing the ride and gave no consent for sex, sources said. Medics took her to Bellevue Hospital for examination.

Cops have identified the driver and are trying to locate him, sources said.

He put his finger inside my pants-12-year-old girl’s shocking accusation lands man in court

For more than one month, Jennifer, a 12-year-old girl, whose parents shared the same compound with a dry cleaner and his wife in Shasha area of Akowonjo, Lagos, allegedly endured consistent sexual harassment in the hands of the man she called Uncle Paul.

Paul Onobluduakpo, 40, is a Delta State indigene, who allegedly insisted on sleeping with the girl, until the harassment became unbearable for her.

“Sometimes, he would hit me in the bottom, and I would slap his hand away. He would call me ‘my wife, my wife’ and I told him I would tell his wife. He always did that when my mother or his wife was not around,” Jennifer told Saturday PUNCH.
According to her, after many previous actions like smacking her bottom and pinching her body parts, Paul took his harassment further one day when she was dressing up in the room.

“I did not know he was at the door and watching me as I was dressing up for church. He opened the net on the door. His wife was around. So that she would think he was just playing with me, he called out to his wife and told her ‘Come and see this small girl wearing bra o’. I was angry.
“Then, his wife came to meet me and advised that I should stop wearing bra at a young age. His wife did not know what was going on. I drew the curtain to dress up again and I saw him still peeping. I then shouted ‘Leave that place’ so that his wife would hear.
“Few days after that, I was having my bath in one of the two bathrooms we share in the compound. I noticed him passing frequently, he was trying to pull the curtain on the bathroom when I shouted at him to leave the place. He left without saying anything.”

The latest events happened after Jennifer, a year one secondary school pupil, started holiday and was at home with her 10-year-old sister.

According to Jennifer, her mother was away at work while her father works outside Lagos.

She said, “That day, I was in the room when he just came in and started saying, ‘Do you know I love you? He was trying to hold me and I told him I would shout. I told him to go and love his wife and children.
“He said, ‘You are my wife too’ and I said ‘God forbid.’ He suddenly grabbed me and put his finger inside my pant and I ran out of the room. When he heard my sister’s footstep, he walked away to his room.
“I reported all these incidents to my mother and she said anytime he attempted to touch me again, I should shout and run outside and tell anybody around the house what he did so that I would have a witness.”
Jennifer’s mother said he wanted him to be caught red-handed so, she did not confront him when her daughter reported the consistent harassment she had been suffering in the hands of their neighbour.

As expected, few days after that, Jennifer said she was playing with her siblings in the compound when Onobluduakpo again smacked her bottom. The girl went straight to report to one of their neighbours and went inside.

“As I was entering our apartment, he followed me and I slammed the door again against him before he could enter. He was angry,” she said.

Jennifer’s mother said she reported the case to the Esther Child Rights Foundation immediately she heard of Paul’s latest action.

“My daughter said that once in a while, Onobluduakpo gave her N100 just so she would not reject him when he intended to perpetrate his evil intention. I restrained myself from confronting him because I did not want him to run away. The most annoying part was that my daughter said the man also once touched the breast of her 10-year-old sister.

Onobluduakpo was eventually arrested and detained at the Shasha Police Division, Lagos on Tuesday.

Officials at the station said he was arraigned on Thursday at an Ogba Magistrate’s Court on charges of attempted defilement and sexual abuse.

Onobluduakpo pleaded not guilty as the charge was read to him. He was later granted bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum.

Executive Director of Esther Child Rights Foundation, Mrs. Esther Ogwu, appreciated the police for taking the decision to prosecute Onobluduakpo immediately.

She, however, urged the police to sustain the prosecution by seeing it to the end in order to serve as a deterrent to other men who may seek to molest young girls.

Yes, I’ve been to London to see the King- -Femi Adesina writes

Not a few tongues had wagged over the fact that President Muhammadu Buhari was outside the country on medical vacation for weeks on end, and no member of his media team was with him.

Many times, we had been confronted by journalists on why we were sitting pretty in Nigeria, while our principal was confronted by severe health challenges in London.

How did I feel about the situation? I had always told the media, and others who cared to listen, that whoever is on a presidential entourage at any time is the prerogative of the President. In the first 20 months of this administration, the President had made scores of trips, both locally and internationally. There was none, and I repeat, none, in which the media team was excluded. We were always there to keep the world abreast with what the President was doing.

When President Buhari first needed to travel for holiday and medical attention in January this year, it was deemed a private trip, in which the media was not needed. On such journey, you naturally would need security details, your personal physician, protocol and domestic aides, and those were the ones that went. Media? It depended on the principal. What was essential was that the channels of communication be kept open.

When the fuss came that the media handlers of the President were transmitting at best third hand information to the public, it did not bother me as much as it did some people, particularly, journalists. The discretion to have anyone with him at a given time was that of the President, and there was nothing anybody could do about it. I was in direct contact with those who were around him, and that was the best in the circumstances.

When the rumour mill went into overdrive sometime in January that the President had passed on, the first person I called was his personal physician. He laughed, saying nothing of such happened. I was thus confident enough to debunk the malicious information.

Before he returned on March 10, in what turned out to be the first leg of his medical treatment, President Buhari had spoken with me personally on phone, the details of which I made available to the public. It was sufficient for me.

The President left again on May 7. I was with him at home till he left for the airport. Information dissemination followed the same pattern as on the first trip. The aides on hand told me whatever was necessary, and I communicated same, never for once making it appear that the information was firsthand. It was the best and the honest thing to do. You work for a straightforward man, it would be a disservice to him for you to begin to spin and bend information. Never!

Not once did I agitate to visit London to see the President. I was trusting enough to receive whatever information was passed to me, knowing the kind of man we serve. Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believe.

A lot of people were using paracetamol for what they considered my headache. They continued to fret that I was not in London, but it didn’t bother me a bit. Ask my wife and children, they would tell you that I am never in unnecessary hurry. I don’t push things, but the lines always fall for me in pleasant places. I have learnt to take all things in my strides, and let the divine powers work out the rest. Some people will erroneously call it a laid back approach, but those who are discerning would see that I had always excelled in whatever I did, physical, professional, spiritual, domestic etc. No need to sing my own praises. Not unto us, but unto Him, be all the glory and praises.

And then, on Wednesday last week, ‘come came to become’ (apologies K.O Mbadiwe). I received a communication to proceed to London to see the President, along with other members of the presidential media team. To lead the delegation was Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, while others included myself, Malam Garba Shehu, Lauretta Onochie, Bayo Omoboriowo, and the Nigerian Television Authority team of Adamu Sambo and Emmanuel Anrihi. Senior Special Assistant on International and Diaspora Matters, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who was in London on another official matter, eventually joined us to see the President on Saturday.

Leaving the country through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Friday morning, one was as conspicuous as a tiger in a teashop. All that knew me, and saw that I was headed for London, naturally said: “Please give our greetings to Baba o.” They just took it for granted that I was going to London to see the King, and not the Queen this time, as made popular by the pussycat in the nursery rhyme.

The trip aboard the British Airways Boeing 777-200/300 was pleasant and pleasurable. It was like a whole city in the sky. The Nigerians who saw me and my colleague, Malam Garba Shehu, onboard, also jumped to the same right conclusion as those at the airport: “Please greet Baba for us o.”

On Saturday afternoon, we were ferried from our hotels at the appointed time. At Zero Hour, we were at the Abuja House, Nigerian High Commission, London.

As we strode into the living room, I saw with infinite pleasure, the great object of my mission. Standing tall and ramrod straight was President Muhammadu Buhari, with that ubiquitous smile in place. He was looking a lot better than he had ever looked in the past eight months. My heart leapt for joy, and sang praises to God. Was this not the man they said was on life support machine? Didn’t they say he could neither walk nor talk? But he was welcoming Alhaji Lai Muhammed, and calling him by name. I was next. I shook the hands of the man I had admired since his days as a military head of state, a man I am not ashamed to call my leader and President today, and any day.

Seated, the President had words for each member of the team, which showed that he had been following events back home very keenly. He commended the Minister of Information and Culture, saying, “Lai, you are all over the place. I see you virtually everyday. You have been working very hard.” Pointing to Abike Dabiri-Erewa, he said, “She is here in her constituency. But me, I am here reluctantly.” We all laughed, and Dabiri-Erewa jocularly issued what you could call a quit notice, saying she didn’t want the President in her constituency again.

How are you, Mr President?

“I am okay now. I feel I could go home, but doctors are in charge here, and I’ve learnt to obey my doctors. I’ve learnt to obey orders, rather than be the one giving the orders.”

If you have met the President personally, he is usually full of wisecracks, and this day was not different. He told us he had enough time to watch television, and commended the NTA particularly, and Nigerian media generally, for bringing him up to speed with what was happening back home.

He said he had been watching the protests by people who wanted him to return home post-haste, or resign. He mentioned one of the leaders of the protest by name, and laughed. I did not discern any malice in the laughter.

President Buhari told us he seldom got sick, something he had told Nigerians on March 10, at his first return. When we told him millions of people were praying for him at home, in Africa, and even beyond, I saw the glow in his eyes, and he said :”May God reward them,” after noting that what Nigeria did in The Gambia in January, which forced a sit-tight Yahya Jammeh to quit office, “fetched us a lot of goodwill and latitude.”

We talked about many issues, some of which are not due for public consumption yet. The President was obviously enjoying our company. Then the State Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Lawal Kazaure, popped up (as he always does) and indicated that the allotted time was over.

“Oh dear,” the President exclaimed, reluctant to see us go.

It was time for photographs, and we walked into the garden. The President was spry, as he joined us. Bayo Omoboriowo clicked away, and those were the pictures you have seen. The President even almost sprinted, while going back inside. Omoboriowo captured that rare moment.

And to the dining room we proceeded. We sat at that famous table, laden with different kinds of fruits; banana, apple, pear, water melon, and many others. It was a setting which a man blinded by bile, and suffused with hatred, had described as a previous fast breaking session at Aso Villa during a Ramadan season. Father, forgive him, for he knows not what he says.

We ate, heartily. Our appetites had been stimulated by the state in which we met our principal. Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, was at hand to attend to us, urging us to eat as much as we wanted. Halima, daughter of the President, as well as Yusuf, his son, were also there.

It was a pleasure meeting all the presidential aides once again, and we greeted one another warmly: Yau and Lawal (trusted security details), Sunday (the personal cook of many decades), the ADC, SCOP, CSO, CPSO, the personal physician, Tunde Sabiu, Sarki Abba, and many others. It was a grand re-union.

Lunch over, the President bade each person goodbye, with a handshake. We said to him, “See you soon, sir.”

But when Dabiri-Erewa uttered the same, the President laughed, and declared: “No, we will leave you here, as this is your constituency.”

The health status of our President, as earlier attested to by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, during his visit, was a testimony to the healing powers of God. This was a man gravely ill, but restored miraculously. It can only be God. In spite of what haters, wailers, and filthy dreamers imagine, and which they spew out, God remains merciful and immutable. He has the final say. If I were a hater, I would repent now, in sackcloth and ashes.

Yes, I’ve been to London to see the King. The Lion King. But unlike the pussycat in the nursery rhyme, I didn’t frighten any mouse under the chair.

Trump presidency is over- Ousted White House Chief Strategist says

Hours after he was fired as white house chief strategist, Steve Bannon has already stuck the knife into Donald Trump .

Bannon who returned to his post as executive chairman of right-wing Breitbart News on Friday afternoon, said the Trump presidency is over .
Bannon told the conservative Weekly Standard .

''The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,"
"I just think his ability to get anything done - particularly the bigger things, like the wall, the bigger, broader things that we fought for, it's just gonna be that much harder," Bannon said.
According to reports, the sacking came as sources claimed Trump was furious over Bannon’s habit of taking credit for his 2016 election.

“That f*****g Bannon [is] taking credit for my election,” the President recently told a confidant.

I cried everyday when my wife left me ,true love never dies-Emeka Ike

Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike is still in denial that he’s no longer married to his wife, Suzanne Emma.
Earlier this year, his 14-year-old marriage to Emma was dissolved by a Lagos Island Customary Court over alleged incessant battery.

Emma had on July 13, 2015, approached the court to dissolve the marriage, accusing her former husband of physically and verbally abusing her throughout the duration of their marriage.
Despite his pleas with the court to reconcile them, she stood her ground, letting him take custody of their 4 kids..

In an interview with Vanguard, the heartbroken actor shares his pains, his anguish and regrets.

You took a long break from acting, what happened?

I tried to restructure the man, Emeka Ike. Emeka Ike is a leader and as a leader, you need to appraise and reappraise your empire and achievements. So, I have been appraising my constituency and I am happy that we are moving forward. At a point, you relocated to Abuja from Lagos. What actually prompted your decision to move to Abuja? I felt that my life was seriously threatened in Lagos. I have said it before that I am going to arrest some people very soon. In fact, some people took advantage of the AGN crisis to threaten my life and all that will be sorted out very soon by the police. I relocated to Abuja to avoid a situation where I would be walking on the streets of Lagos and a criminal would gun me down. I used my discretion to stay away while I watched from afar what was happening in Lagos. That was why that woman (his ex wife) is no longer living with me. God knows I am not a wife beater. I didn’t touch her and my children testified to that in court. I don’t know what came over her and who used her to blackmail me. But all that will be unravelled soon.

Are you saying that you never raised your hands on your ex wife?

Have you watched that one movie, where the wife was saying “everything is alright between me and my husband. He takes care of me and provides all my needs”. That was the situation between my wife and I. If I didn’t know I would have blamed her sudden change of character on my enemies. I love her so much. Why would she blackmail me by claiming that I was always beating her up when I didn’t. To avoid the disturbing mess, I had to abandon my businesses and house in Lagos and find a new life in Abuja. Does it mean you were not prepared for the divorce? I wasn’t. I don’t even believe we are divorced and I cannot remarry again. I am a real Christian and Christians don’t divorce. I told the court that I’m not divorcing my wife but they went ahead and got an injunction against a High Court order.

Why was she trying to walk out of her marriage?Who was advising her to divorce me? I must see to the end of this matter because they have put my children out there without a mother. She’s in pain wherever she is right now because I know they are dealing with her. I learnt that she was beaten black and blue by one wife snatcher sometime ago, beside Mobil Petrol Station on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. My own wife beaten up like a common criminal!
I want to know what has gone wrong with my wife, I want to know the devil that is behind this. What is the extent of blackmail that brought her to this degrading level? The Inspector General of Police will be investigating into the matter very soon. While doing this, I have to stay away from Lagos because they could be after me.

You accused Pastor Chris Okotie of Household of God Church International Ministries of being the brain behind your marital crisis. How did he come into the picture?

The guy who is confusing my wife attends his church. He’s one of the elders of the church. It’s a church arrangement. When there is crisis in the family, a true man of God should invite both husband and wife with the aim of resolving their differences but Chris Okotie refused to pick my calls. Whenever I called him on the telephone, he usually avoided my calls. As a man of God, he was supposed to use his position to save our marriage. I didn’t chase my wife out of my house, I wanted Chris Okotie to advise her to return to her husband but he refused to pick my calls.
He did not bother to find out what went wrong between us. While I am still alive, my wife was demanding that I should ‘will’ part of my property to her. She shut down a school I spent millions of naira to establish. Who was telling her to make such a demand? Where is she taking the property to? What happens to our children who will inherit my property? She was insisting on getting her own share of my property. At that point, I had to leave Lagos for Abuja because some people were strongly behind her and my life was no longer safe. But I’m coming back to Lagos soon.
My house and property are still in Lagos. Nothing is hidden under the earth that cannot be unearthed someday. She blackmailed me for what I am not. You will feel sorry for a man whose wife was blackmailed to blackmail the entire family.

Despite the pain she has caused you, you still declare your undying love for her?

Love never dies. Real love doesn’t die, forget what we are talking about. The Bible says that “love covers multitude of sin.” She’s the mother of my children. She was nobody when I met her, she never knew her father. I built a house for her family in Lagos and also in Isoko. I trained her up to the master’s degree level. I gave her the exposure she needed in life. There are thousands of pretty girls who would want to marry me the first week we got divorced. But I am a gentleman, it is not about marriage for me now, it’s about doing the right thing. What is wrong with my woman? If it’s something we can redeem her from, we will still redeem her. Forget about marrying her again. I don’t need to marry again, but I need to know what was wrong with my wife. I need to know why she started blackmailing me.

Can you welcome her back into your life if she returns to you?

Accepting her back is not the problem, but let her confess and get herself back. I believe she’s under the influence of something. How did you feel watching her walk out of her marriage ? It’s the most painful part of my life. I cried for 24 hours every day for three to four years. I was just asking myself what is happening to me. You know, in blackmail, you will not know what is going on because somebody is playing the game. It was much later that I knew what was happening to me. I need to know the strength of these blackmailers because we have law in this country. And with the law, we will look at the issues pro-actively. Are your children missing their mother? They are not because they feel disappointed in her. She was their heroine. Her son was begging her, saying “mummy please come back because of me.” But she replied him; “I am going to marry another man and have other children.” If you can say that to your first son, it’s either you have a mental problem or you are not okay spiritually. She even said to the judge that she wanted to have other children after having four children. What is wrong with her? Her case beats my imagination. I have been blackmailed, undermined and I have been crushed. She closed down my school on the day I travelled, an investment that a student at St Nicholas was paying N385, 000, per session as school fees amounting to N880,000 every year. She went to the landlord and asked him to come and reclaim his property. Who is behind all these things? You cannot be unfair to me and get away with it, not when I’m still alive and seeking justice. I met her on the street and I saved her from the street. She told me she’s from a poor home and that she never met her father. I promised her that I would be her father and her lover. I gave her too much opportunity to swallow me.

I have moved on with my life—Wife

Meanwhile, when contacted,Emma said,
“The marriage is over. I have moved on with my life. I am not willing to talk about it again. His actions have not shown that he’s remorseful.

'Disabled' man rapes autistic teen inside a Brooklyn park

An autistic teenager was sexually assaulted inside a Brooklyn park, police said Friday.

The 17-year-old girl was on her way home from school when she got off the wrong bus stop Wednesday afternoon, sources said.

I Have The Tape Of Oritsefemi Fighting A Bouncer At My Club That Night - Shina Peller Spills More Details

Shina Peller owner of popular nightclub, Quilox has opened up on what really transpired at the club the night singer Oritsefemi and a bouncer had issues.

In his words:

“That particular day, I was not around but I have seen the CCTV footage of what happened. The incident did not even happen in the VIP section of the club. That day, all the tables had been booked already and Oritsefemi did not have a prior booking. He came into the club and he was able to talk to a customer that had booked a table. The customer agreed that he could join his table but also informed him that he was expecting some other guests.
“Oritsefemi wanted some of his people to join the table and the customer that had booked the table had to notify the bouncers of the club. I don’t like to run people down because if I was someone that gets carried away with drama, I would have released the CCTV footage of what happened at the club and you would see who was at fault. The bouncer did his job by talking to Oristefemi going by the CCTV footage.”

Shina Peller said his bouncers are paid to do their job.

“I am sure you have not seen any proof that my bouncer did anything to the singer but you would see that it was Oritsefemi that did something to the bouncer. However, this is an issue that has been resolved. We don’t kick A-list artistes out of the club,” he said.

Lagos traditional Ruler, Others, Arrested For Burying Policeman Alive

The Baale of Osoroko, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos has been charged to court and remanded in prison custody for allegedly burying a police inspector alive.

The deceased a 45-year-old Inspector Sunday Musa, was declared missing in November 2016 after embarking on an official assignment which saw him never returning home.

Sunday alongside two other policemen were asked to settle a land dispute issue between two communities in the area.

Reports have it that upon getting to the area, they saw hoodlums assaulting a man.

He reportedly told the other two policemen to go and put the man in the car so he could be safe.

But before they came back to where Sunday was, the hoodlums had pounced on him and taken him away.

His widow, Halima, had cried out to Saturday PUNCH at the time, urging the police authorities to provide her husband, with whom she had four children, dead or alive.

Sunday’s body was eventually found in June buried in a shallow grave as his family said he was buried alive.

The Baale of Osoroko community in Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos, Olusegun Oyiri, was arrested and arraigned on Friday for the death of the policemen.

He was charged before an Ebute Metta Magistrates’ Court, Lagos alongside Akeem Balogun (51), Aroki Badiru (66) and Nasiru Shakiru (59).

The police said the four accused persons allegedly conspired among themselves and unlawfully buried him in a shallow grave on November 29, 2016, at Osokoro community.

They were also accused of stealing the inspector’s AK 47 service rifle, two magazines and 30 rounds of 7.62 live ammunition.

Magistrate A. O. Salawu (Mrs.) ordered the four defendants to be remanded in prison’s custody following a remand application brought before the court by Mr. Emmanuel Eze from State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department.

The plea of the accused persons was not taken.

However, Oyiri’s lawyer, Mr. O. Ajanaku, urged the court to admit him to bail due to his status as a community head. He insisted that the Baale did not participate in the policeman’s killing.

Magistrate Salawu declined the request and adjourned the case till August 31 for ruling on the bail application.

She fixed September 21 for further hearing in the matter pending legal advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions.

There Were Days We Slept Hungry - Olajumoke Orisaguna

Nigerian model, Olajumoke Orisaguna who received public attention when she appeared on the cover of a magazine before she was employed as a model, in a new interview with The Sun, has opened up on her childhood.

Jumoke, who was discovered by ace photographer, T.Y Bello, talked about days she and her family slept on empty stomach, fame and more.
Read her interview below:

Did you ever believe that u could end up a world class model who will be rubbing shoulders with top models across the world?

I never expected it. I had a dream to live a quiet life with my family. So, what happened was a total transformation from fiction to reality. Meanwhile, I had secretly loved acting.

What was your first reaction when TY Bello wanted to photograph you and launch you into modelling?

I was yet to understand what was going on really but I knew whatever was going on had to be good. I was excited though I didn’t know who a model was or what a models do but I was willing to do whatever was demanded of me as long as it was not negative.

It’s been a while since you hit stardom. How are you coping with the glitz and glamour?

At first, I was overwhelmed and basked in the euphoria for a long time. But now, under Qtaby Events, my new management company, I’ve come to realise you need hard work to maintain the glitz and glamour and that I can be anything I want to be if there is consistency and determination on my part.

What has changed about Olajumoke Orisaguna?

Hmmm… big question. Nothing really, except that I’m more focused and determined because I have a greater purpose. I have fans whom I must not let down and my family to take care of. It’s still the same humble, respectful me that was selling bread. Nothing has changed about me.

What has fame and stardom denied you of and how are your old friends coping with your new status?

Well, freedom and easy access to certain things. Before, I could walk freely to buy vegetable by the roadside, eat in a roadside food joint or even use public transport but I can’t do any of those now. Now I can’t get into the street without getting attention from fans. I still check on my friends and they still check on me. They’re all excited about my transformation.

From hawking bread, you are a model of world repute, when you look back, did u ever see yourself going this far in life?

I had ambitions to be great in life but not in this way. All I wanted and the picture I had was a quiet life with my family until God stepped in and assigned me to a greater purpose.

Could you recount growing up in Osun State and your struggles?

It was tough growing up in a family with not so much resources. There were times we slept hungry or had just little to eat. It was a difficult period but all that is past now.

What kind of a child were you and how many kids were you in the family?

What kind of child was I? I was a good child. Being the first of 6 children, I was saddled with the responsibility of supporting the family and providing for them. I had to stop school so they could further their education.

Do you still have any plan of getting education up to the university level? If so, what course do you wish to study?

I have plans and furthering my education is important to me.

What is your advice for young ladies out there who are gifted and talented but haven’t had the chance to be heard?

They should keep doing what they are doing. They should believe in God and heaven will smile on them shortly.

What mrssage do you have for TY Bello who discovered you?

No amount of words can quantify how grateful I am to TY Bello. She is my God-sent angel. If not for her, I won’t be where I am now. She could have decided to kill the search for me or not bothered to use my picture but her kind heart made it possible. I’m forever indebted to her and I lover her so much.

The day you photo-bombed her shoot, did you have a premonition that something good was coming your way? If so, can you share it with us?

I always have a premonition that something good will happen everyday I go out and that day was not different. I prayed everyday that God should order my steps and He heard my prayers.

What are your dreams?

I have a dream to be a helper to the helpless; a beacon of hope to the hopeless even as TY Bello was my helper.

How do you feel being reunited with your husband and child after all these years?

I have always been with my children and I am happy that the family is together

Which of your parents did you take your good looks from?

Both of them.
