Lil Wayne Is Now A Co-Owner Of TIDAL

Before today, we hadn't received any signs that Lil Wayne was involved with TIDAL in any way, but now it's more apparent than ever that he's
putting some stake in the company.

Earlier today, he dropped "Glory," purportedly the first single from his Free Weezy Album, as an exclusive on the streaming service, and now
we've received reports that he's the
company's latest co-owner.

Consequence of Sound reports that he's "joining the streaming service as an artist owner," and cites a press release from TIDAL employee Vania Schlogel, who writes:

“We’re honored for Lil Wayne to join TIDAL. His eagerness to release an exclusive TIDAL track and schedule a TIDAL X performance is just
another example of how passionately artists care about getting their music to fans.”

No word on how (or if) this will affect his ongoing struggle to leave Cash Money, but expect more Weezy x TIDAL content soon.

The Game Charged With Felony For Basketball Fight

Back in March, we reported that The Game was involved in a brawl during a Pro-Am basketball game in L.A., allegedly punching an off-duty
LAPD officer in the face and threatening to kill him.Now, he's being charged with a felony offense for the incident.

TMZ reports that the L.A. County D.A. has charged The Game with one count of "making criminal threats" for allegedly saying "I'm going to kill you" verbatim to the officer.

He wasn't charged with battery, which would've been the usual case for this sort of altercation, and would've only garnered him a misdemeanor offense. A warrant's now out for The Game's arrest.

According to sources that spoke to TMZ, the rapper's claiming that he didn't make the threat, and that the cop "insinuated he had a gun in his gym bag."
