Meet Texas man who has become the ‘World’s First Trillionaire’… thanks to bank error (PICTURED)

What would you do with a trillion bucks? That’s the question Texas resident Reggie Theus faced on Wednesday when he checked his bank account and found that his balance was well over $4 trillion.

 

 

 

 

Unfortunately, the balance, which would have made Theus the world’s first trillionaire, was a mistake, according to local news station KLTV.

“I was definitely surprised when I looked in my account and saw that much money in there,” Theus told KLTV.

Though Theus won’t get to keep the cash, he told KLTV that he would have used it to help pay off the national debt.

Oddly enough, Molly Layes, of Fort Smith, Ariz., noticed a similar mistake on her BankCorp South statement earlier this week, according to 5 News Online.

BankCorp South communications executive Randy Burchfield confirmed to The Huffington Post that its online banking system had been experiencing some technical glitches.

“BancorpSouth online banking customers’ deposit account balances reflected overstated balance totals for a short period of time Wednesday morning before being corrected,” Burchfield wrote in an email.

Banking errors like these are not unheard of. Daily Finance points out that an Indian man, Parijat Saha, discovered $9.8 billion in his bank account, which was the result of a glitch.

Teenage Girl Gang-Rapéd To Death by 8 Coffin Makers in Anambra

It’s a busy day for Police detectives in Obosi, Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State as they try to unravel the circumstances which led to the death of 18 year old Chekwube Mbaka.

She had left her father’s house to buy N100 garri to serve as dinner for her family only to never return.

Her corpse was later found as information emerged that she may have been rapéd by eight coffin makers in an uncompleted building at Odume-layout in Obosi, Idemili North council area of Anambra State.

Chekwube’s family hails from Ogboji community in Ezzagu, Ishielu council area of Anambra State.

She is believed to have met her untimely death on the fateful day when she was on her way back from where she had gone to buy garri for the family.

Obosi Police Division has already arrested two of the suspects in their effort to unravel the mystery surrounding the gruesome murder of the girl.


The teenage girl’s family remains in pains and is calling for justice for their daughter whose life was violently and painfully taken from her.

Popular Nollywood Actress Uche Ogbodo was recently involved in a huge fight on the set of her new project in Owerri.

Thanks to the timely intervention by the produce of the movie the sitution might have escalated into a full blown physical attack, Uche Ogbodo and costumier would have turn to brawl.

 "There was this day I was travelling to Abuja to shoot a movie and I got into the aircraft and met this woman, she was older than my mother. As I made to put my bag in the overhead compartment, I greeted her but she didn't answer me. I just ignored her and sat down. On arrival in Abuja, the woman was struggling to get her luggage from the compartment and I just stretched my hand and helped her to get it. She asked for it without a thank you but I refused to
 give it to her, offering to help her take it down. On getting out of the aircraft, she again requested for her luggage but I said, madam I'll take it to the arrival hall for you and she looked at me with bewilderment."

"When we got to the arrival hall I turned to the woman and handed her luggage to her and as I made to leave, she called me by my name. I was surprised and retorted, so madam you even know my name. But why did you not answer me when I greeted you on board the aircraft. She then said, "Mike, I've come across a lot of your Nollywood mates and they seem to be pigheaded so that is why I always want to distant myself from them." I just smiled and told her I'm not like that."

She asked where I was going and I felt she wanted me to ride with her into town. I told her I was in Abuja to shoot a movie. I then turned to leave but some four or five policemen who must have come to pick her told me to wait. I said what's my own, I've helped her to this place and I want to go. They however insisted that I should wait. I didn't really know who the woman was but the long and short of it all was that she ended up giving me three plots of land in Abuja."

400 Passengers Escape Death As Saudi-Bound Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Sokoto

Another  drastic  plane crash was averted this morning in Sokoko barely 72 hours after an Associated Airline crashed in Lagos. A Saudi bound Kabo Air plane carrying 400 passengers from Kano made an emergency landing at the Sir Abubakar III international Airport when its tyres exploded in the air immediately after take off. The Boeing 747 jumbo jet, left Kano on Friday en route Saudi Arabia but had to divert to Sokoto when the incident happened.

The passengers aboard the airline had been successfully evacuated from the plane and lodged in a hotel in the state.

Shocker: Father Sleeps with Daughters,Claims he wants to save them From Premature Death

 Kogi State Police command has paraded a 53-year old man,Yusuf Alabi for allegedly having carnal Knowledge of his two daughters.

Parading the suspect, the Acting police commissioner, Austine Evbakhabokun said, Alabi was apprehended following a complaint by one of his sons, Abdulmalik to the state investigation and intelligence bureau, alleging that his father was having sexual intercourse with two of his younger sisters.

The CP said when the boy challenged his father for committing the act, the suspect threatened to kill him if the news got to the public, cajoling the son that he was protecting his sisters.
Austine said the suspect has also confessed to the crime with an explanation that he committed the illicit acts in order to save his children from premature death.

The suspect also made a shocking statement while being questioned by journalists that none of his daughters offered resistance anytime he approached them for sexual intercourse.
In a shocking twist, the wife of the suspect has called on the police not to prosecute her husband saying though he might have committed the crime but the issue is a ‘family matter’ and should be allowed to be settled in the family way

 Luck and blessing smiled at Tekno earlier this week. The 19 year old budding artiste, dancer and music producer has inked a recording contract with Made Men Music Group.
