Lil Wayne Is Suing Birdman and Cash Money Records for $51 Million

TMZ has obtained Wayne's
lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money, in which Wayne is asking a judge to end his contract with the label. Additionally, Wayne is suing Birdman for a total of $51 million, as well as the rights to take Drake and Nicki Minaj with him.

According to TMZ , if Lil Wayne
does indeed leave Cash Money, he wants to bring the entire Young Money Entertainment roster with
him, which includes Drake and Nicki Minaj. The entire roster features the likes of Gudda Gudda, Jae Millz, Mack Maine, Lil Twist, Tyga, and more, though Cash Money
handles distribution for all of the artists.

Even though he dropped Sorry 4 the Wait 2 earlier this week, Lil Wayne wants Tha Carter V out as
soon as possible and he's still anxiously trying to get off Cash Money, as well. TMZ is reporting
that Wayne is taking Birdman to court and will sue him for $8 million in advances. Wayne claims that Birdman is violating their contract by withholding the release of Tha Carter V but, as we've reported earlier, Birdman claims he'll
release the album "in due time."

I’M ALSO GOOD TO BE NIGERIA’S PRESIDENT— DAVIDO DECLARES

While other Nigerian celebrities are busy vying to be lawmakers at the state and federal levels in the forthcoming election, Davido is seeking President Goodluck Jonathan‘s job because he
believes he also has the capacity to do the job well. He also said he wants to be the first entertainer to occupy the number one seat of the country.

The award-winning pop star said he is good enough to be the president of Nigeria. However, if given the opportunity, the ‘Skelewu’ crooner does not want to look unprepared at all as he highlighted some of the things he will do if such comes his way.

While responding to MTV Base’s Choose or Lose Vox Pop, the ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ crooner declared his intention to be the first entertainer to become Nigeria’s president in the 45-second video.

The young star began by stating his readiness to vote in the forthcoming elections. ‘Yes! I’m voting, I want my voice to be heard, there’s no point in complaining if you are not going to vote.’ And when asked if he will love to see a celebrity as Nigeria’s president and who the person might probably be and why, Davido responded, ‘I think I’m good enough to be president, because it’s me, I want to be the president.’

He went on to outline some of the things he will do if he is named President for just one day: ‘I’ll fix all the bad roads, I’ll fix up the currency of course, and different other things, as much as I can do in a day, I’ll do.’

Davido wants the youth to take over governance in the country in order to provide better roads, cleaner environment and better structured cities and it remains to be seen just how serious he is in future, given that he is from a family with a history of political involvement.

Interestingly, he is surely not the first to declare that ambition. Late rapper, DaGrin once declared the dream of becoming Nigeria’s president in one of his songs.

Olamide releases campaign songs for Buhari/Osinbajo

YBNL boss, Olamide has taken his campaign and endorsement of the opposition party in Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress (APC) to another level.

The indigenous language rapper has featured on a couple of theme songs for APC and its candidates already but has now recorded a song of his own to endorse Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate, Yemi Osinbajo .

The first song is titled ‘APC Ese’ (Thank You) while the second is titled ‘The Change We Want’ .

Recall that Osinbajo was present at Olamide’s album launch event late last year and even took time out to commend the rapper as an impressive young man.

2face Idibia reacts to leaked picture with baby mama

Last night, the online media space was awash with stories based on a controversial picture of music star, 2 face Idibia and baby mama, Pero
Adeniyi loved up, kissing and cuddling. The pictures, believed to have been leaked, shows Pero, who has 3 children for the superstar, obviously very happy and giggling while sitting on the laps of the super star.

Although it is unclear how old the pictures are, reports claim the photographs were taken about a week ago at Club Rumors owned by the music star in Festac while others claim the pictures were taken several years back.

Efforts by NET to get the reaction of 2face’s reps led by Bayo Omisore, proved abortive as they declined speaking on the matter. A few hours ago, however, 2face took to Instagram to address the issue.

The super star uploaded a picture from his wedding to Annie Idibia with a lengthy caption that addresses the controversy without
confirming or denying anything and ended it by professing his love for his wife, writing: LYTID (Love You Till I Die) Uwanna Idibia.’

Check out 2face’s Instagram post and a collage fold of the controversial pictures with Pero

Retchy P Says He Wishes Wale Died Instead Of A $AP Yams, Wale & Fat Trel Blasts Back

Retchy P wished death upon several rappers in place of A$AP Yams, and one of those rappers, Wale, caught wind of his death wish.

The death of A$AP Yams has shook up much of the hip-hop community, and of course those who had working and personal relationships with the Mob co-founder were even more in shock. Over the weekend there was a memorial service for
Yams in New York, as well as a private one for close friends and family. Everyone grieves in
different ways, and while some artists have been outspoken on social media about the death of
Yams, others, like A$AP Rocky, only spoke out recently.

Retchy P took to social media recently to grieve for Yams, however, he did so at the expense of
fellow rappers. Retchy P wished death upon a few rappers in particular, saying that they should
have died in the place of Yams. Specifically, he targeted Scaff Beezy ( Nicki Minaj 's ex-boyfriend/
struggle rapper), Wale, Flo Rida and Roscoe Dash . "IT SHOULDA BEEN FLO RIDA," he tweeted.

Wale caught wind of the death wish aimed at him, and called out Retchy P, pointing out that the two rappers don't even know each other.
Wale's DMV brethren Fat Trel also stepped in on the rapper's behalf.

After Retchy tweeted "SHOULDA BEEN WALE" (and then, "DEF WALE"), Wale responded back, "so I should b dead? U want me to die?
Correct? U don't know me but wish death to me." Retchy P hit back, "DEF, WOULD SWAP U OUT FOR MY MANS IN A HEARTBEAT."

Folarin continued tweeting at him, "yeah and Id swap U out for a hunnit good men I lost. U wish death on people.. U a different kind of nigga .
Enjoy your evening."

Retchy then told Wale to "do suttin" when they cross paths, "IM A SICK KID WHAT CAN I SAY, DO SUTTIN WHEN U SEE ME I BE OUTSIDE."
