Rapper Nelly Apologizes For Felony Drug Arrest

Nelly offers statement on recent drug arrest.

Last week, Nelly's bus was pulled over near Chattanooga, TN for failing to display necessary stickers. The cops smelled weed, searched the bus, found the weed--as well as some more contraband--namely, several guns, and a plastic bag full of rocks that would test positive for meth.

Nelly was taken to the county jail and released shortly thereafter, though the St. Louis rapper is now faced with a felony charge. Today, Nelly spoke on the charges for the first time, and issued an apology--well, sort of--he mostly
eschews all blame entirely.

He and his legal team claim that between 15 and 20 people were granted entry to the bus earlier that night before the bust. The drugs, and everything else, must have been brought on by any one of those shady characters. Nelly was just trying to be a good guy--"my instinct of course, is to be accessible to my friends, fans and acquaintances", but he ultimately
admits, "I feel the need to take responsibility for my choices in needing to be more aware of
all the people I associate with and allow onto my property."

By the way, his lawyer claims the drugs were molly, not meth.

Popular Ghanaian actor and TV host, Chris Attoh, has revealed his obsession over ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner, Wizkid.

The former Tinsel actor in a brief
interview with NET at the conference of popular sex and relationship series, Shuga, which took place in Lagos on Monday, April 13, 2015, stated that he listens very well to Nigerian music.

Young Thug Changes Title Of "Tha Carter 6"

After exchanging some choice words with his idol Lil Wayne these past couple weeks, it looks like Young Thug is now backing down from naming his new mixtape Tha Carter 6 .

Taking to his Instagram Monday night, Thugger announced that he’s changing the title from Tha Carter VI to Tha Barter VI (a blood reference) because someone is suing him over the original title. He didn’t reveal who’s suing him, but the first thing that comes to mind is either Weezy or Young Money, so who really knows.

“Can’t name the mixtape Carter VI, cause these fuck ass niggas trying to sue…just like some hoes,”-Thugger

The project is led by the single “Check” and is expected to be dropping later this week on the 17th. Don’t be surprised if the project sees a setback though due to this new name change.

Why I was absent at AY’s show– Basketmouth

Basketmouth has responded to criticisms surrounding his absence at the latest edition of AY Live, noting that he couldn’t have been a part of the show since he was not scheduled to perform.

The comedian said: ‘I was not booked to appear at AY’s show. My name was not publicized as one of those expected at the show. It is not about comedians being united; AY did his show and never mentioned that Basketmouth would perform, so why would people expect me to be there? It doesn’t make sense.’

Summing it all up that it is a ridiculous idea for people to expect him to show up even if he wasn’t billed for the show, Basketmouth said:

‘The way we think in this country is very funny. You go to the market to buy a Mercedes and hope to get a Rolls Royce engine, it is not possible.’
