I was given N2m for mentioning Akpabio's name in a song-MC Galaxy

Comedian and dancer turned Musician, MC Galaxy has opened up on how he delved in to music. He came into limelight as the notable dancer in Iyanya's Kukere..Fast forward to 2015, he recently launched his "Breakthrough " album, got a brand new 2015 Prado jeep from immediate past governor of Akwa Ibom State,Godwill Akpabio. He told Punch :

I never knew I was going to become a musician. I went to Davido’s studio with a friend and that was where I met Shizzy. He came up with the idea of doing a song to eulogise Akpabio. I told him I did not have money to record a song and he still went ahead to compose a beat for me. Davido fell in love with the beat and wanted it for himself. At the end of the day, we all came together, came up with lyrics and recorded the song.
The song went viral and a man called Mr. Tony came from nowhere and said because I mentioned Akpabio’s name in the song, he was going to give me money to shoot a video for the song. He gave me N2m which was used for the purpose it was designated. The video had more than 10 million views on YouTube.

On Davido beating him and having him thrown out of a studio

He is my very good friend and I don’t have a problem with him. We have come a long way and we do things together. If you have a friend and you don’t have one or two misunderstandings, then you don’t love each other. It is only okay for friends to disagree and then, they make up again.

On plans to have a babymama

No, I don’t. That is the trend now but have you heard of any prominent artiste from Akwa Ibom who has a baby mama? It is not our style. I am very different; I don’t smoke or drink and I don’t even have a tattoo. People question the kind of person I am but I love hanging out with ladies.

Those who call Jonathan a hero need to get checked-Adokiye

Self-professed virgin and musician ,Adokiye has slammed president Jonathan ,saying any one who calls him a hero should have their brains checked .Adokiye who said her mother is from the same village with the former first lady told Vanguard :

“ I feel really bad for the Nigerians calling President Jonathan a hero. Hero to who please?” she asked disdainfully. “ Why waste your saliva and brain on someone who has brought poverty, national blackout, danger, unemployment, terror and insecurity to our dear nation.Don’t get me wrong, he was my president before now. His wife is even from my mum’s village, Ogu Bolo in Okrika and I know her home. So, they are my people. But my dear, he disappointed me. Someone that has seen poverty before but was blessed by God to change mankind. What did he do?
He forgot us and started forming ‘big man’ for Nigerians. I bet he thought the world was his. Thank God for his mercy for not allowing him to come back to complete his mission of doom".

She also took on those who worked under the former president ,she said
“They were all heartless people. People that could not feel the pains of the poor who put them there to serve then. If anybody by now is still calling Jonathan a hero that person should be checked” she added.

Death rumour made me more popular-Angela Okorie

Sometime last year, there was a viral rumour that actress Angela Okorie passed on. In a chat with Sunday Sun,she said it made her more popular :

Yes I have. The thing is that sponsors of such do not realise that such evil campaigns usually turn out a publicity campaign for their victims. I was actually working on set when they started that rumour and suddenly my phone line became inundated with calls. A lot of people were crying and raising concern. And I told them that I was alive and kicking. That death-rumour incident made me to realise how much people loved me. It even made me more popular. The evil peddlers had only added many more years to my life. So, I don’t care about what people say about me.

On her husband, the mother of one said

I always try to keep my home and my profession apart. But I can confirm to you that my husband loves me and understands me so much. And that is what matters most to me.
