Andrew Wommack – Minister God’s Love

Luke 19:8 “And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.”

Text: Luke 19:1-8

Zacchaeus was rich but Jesus made no demands for him to give away all his goods to the poor as He did with the rich young ruler. Zacchaeus had already repented and money was no longer his god, as was revealed by his actions. It seems that Zacchaeus was going above and beyond the requirement of restitution as stated in Mosaic law by offering to give half of his goods to the poor and to repay fourfold for his theft.

Publicans were hated by their fellow Jews. They were especially despised by the religious Jews as the epitome of sinners and Jewish religious laws prevented devout Jews from keeping company with any publican. To eat with a publican was unthinkable as the Jews considered this actually partaking of the publican’s sins. This is why the people reacted so adversely to Jesus eating with Zacchaeus.
Jesus did not eat at Zacchaeus’ house to participate in his sin but to extend mercy and forgiveness to him. This is always the criterion whereby we can judge whether or not we should be involved in a certain situation. We must not participate in other men’s sins, but the Lord doesn’t want us to retreat to monasteries either. We are the salt of the earth (Mt. 5:13), and to do any good, we have to get out of the “salt shaker.” If we can be in control and minister the love of God, then we are right to associate with sinners. But when we are being controlled by the ungodliness of sinners, we need to take control or withdraw.

Kenneth Copeland – Not Of This World

Whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. – 1 John 5:4, The Amplified Bible
Years ago the devil started a rumor. He told a few Christians that as long as they lived in the world, they had to suffer as the world did. He told them they had to share the diseases and the defeat, the poverty and the failure of those around them.

It was a crafty lie—and it worked. Believers accepted it and began to spread it among themselves. You may have even heard it yourself. If so, I want to help you put that rumor to rest today. I want to help you get the
You see, despite what you may have heard, health, prosperity and victorious living aren’t concepts some comfort-hungry believer selfishly dreamed up. They are God’s ideas.

You may say, “That sounds good, Gloria, but we’ve got to be realistic. We live in a world that’s full of problems. And as long as we live in this world, it seems to me we’re going to have our share.”
Yes, that’s true. Even Jesus said, “In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration.” But notice, He didn’t stop there! He went on to say, “But be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you]” (John 16:33, The Amplified Bible).

Emeka Rollas Defeats Emeka Ike To Become The President Of AGN

Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has lost the election to select a leader of the government of national unity (GNU), an interim government set up by the Actors Guild Association of Nigeria (AGN).

This is following a peace agreement reached between former contenders Emeka Ike and Ibinabo Fibresima at the 2017 Peace and Reconciliation Conference recently held in Enugu.

The open election was contested by Emeka Ike – who represented his faction- and Emeka Rollas -who represented Fiberesima’s.

Ike polled 12 votes as against 42 polled by Rollas, PM News reports.

The Nollywood star had been battling for the leadership of the guild since 2005, after the tenure of Ejike Asiegbu as president.

Prior to the election, Ike had reportedly sought to be allowed to run the guild on an interim basis alongside Fiberesima but members were said to have turned down his request.

The AGN had been grappling with a leadership crisis for 12 years leading to the dismissal of its former national president, Fiberesima, by a court after a suit was filed against her re-election by Maradona Mikevine, a veteran Nollywood actor
.
Rollas, the new president of the GNU, has said his two-year term as leader of the guild would be full of positive reforms.

He assured that he would work with all aggrieved parties to develop the guild.

Small Doctor Finally Speaks On Leaked Sex Tape

Following a leaked video of one of the hottest acts in the Nigerian entertainment scene, Small Doctor on the internet, where he was seen stroking his manhood with one hand, while apparently recording the act with his other hand, the Penalty crooner has finally broken his silence over the issue,

Speaking with Sunday Scoop, he said:
“My Snapchat account was hacked and that is all I have to say.”

When asked to admit whether he actually recorded himself masturbating and saved it before the alleged hacker uploaded it online, he said,
“You should understand when they say someone’s account was hacked. I don’t want to say beyond that.”
On his Gold chain being stolen at a recent concert he performed at, Small Doctor said:
“The event was organised by Shina Peller in Iseyin, Oyo State. While performing, I was carried away because I was intent on giving my fans the best, like I always do whenever I’m on stage. At that point, I didn’t even remember that there was an expensive chain on my neck. The crowd was very lively and they were enjoying my performance, so I jumped into the crowd to get closer to them. Unfortunately, by the time I went back on stage, the chain had been stolen off my neck. However, because there were a lot of people there, we couldn’t really tell who took the chain. But it’s all good.”
On if that would be the first time something would be stolen from him at an event, he said:
“That was not the first time that I jumped into the crowd; I actually do that a lot. But this is the first time that I would lose my possession. But this does not mean I would stop doing that; I would just be more careful.”
On the success of his latest single, Penalty, the pop singer said,
“The song has really taken me places and I thank my fans all over the world. I have performed in several places across Nigeria and around the world. Right now, expect more jams from me.”

I Spent 10-Years Under Lagos Bridges - Dolapo Osinbajo

Pastor ‘Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, has recounted how she spent about 10years with street urchins under several notorious Lagos bridges in a bid to reshape their lives.
Speaking at a ‘Teens Career Conference’ organized by The Everlasting Arms Parish TEAP of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, Garki, Abuja, Mrs Osinbajo said;
“When I became a worker in the church, the first place I worked was the Teenage Church and for 10 years I was in the Children’s Church. For 10 years, I was under the bridge; under the bridge in Lagos with ‘Area Boys’. So, every kind of drug that there is, I know about it. I have seen it before and I have seen the effects as well and I will like you to know that the ones that use it are not different from you. Some of them too have parents in the church. Some of them have parents with very big names.
There are some streets in Lagos that the names of the streets are names of people, some of which have their children under the bridge. There were people whose parents lived in America and yet their children were under the bridge. So, do not even imagine that it cannot happen to you, but you must be an example in your conduct”.
Dr Oby Ezekwesili who was also at the conference urged the participants to use their teenage years to decide on what they want to be in life.
“If we do not reform education in this country, the 65 per cent of the children in the public school system that are failing are usually the children of the poorer segment of the society. So, what it means is double jeopardy.
You are going to create what I call inter-generational poverty, dynasties in families simply because you have failed to make public education effective and productive and able to grow the competitive skills that they need in order to move from one level of society to the next level of society”, she said.

I Want My Kids To Speak As Well As I Do - Patrick Obahiagbon

Patrick Obahiagbon, former Chief of Staff to ex Edo state governor Adams Oshiomhole, has said that he developed his repertoire of ‘high-sounding’ words through extensive reading.

According to him, he doesn't speak the way he does to mesmerize  his audiences, he claims they flow naturally from the pool of words and phrases he has accumulated through a regular use of the dictionary.

Obahiagbon, who spoke to Punch said that he would encourage his children, who are already used to his esoteric words, to cultivate the gift of the gab.

“I have said it for the umpteenth time that I have never advertently set out to mystify my audience with what you have referred to as esoteric words and I neither studied Latin.
“The truth is that extensive reading is my hobbyhorse and these words and phrases become part of my vocabulary repertoire to use your words. Of course, I have equally posited elsewhere that the dictionary for me is a vade mecum.
“It bears reiteration that my family is already used to my idiolect and I am encouraging my kids along that path but of course you know these things cannot be decreed.
“I have endeavoured to encourage my children to try and cultivate the gift of the gab especially my young daughter who is exuding all the qualities of a scholar in her formative years and my pleasure will be boundless if one of them can be so motivated.”

Heritage bank MD, others deny involvement in N13bn fraud

The Management, Managing Director of Heritage Bank Plc, Ifie Sekibo, have denied involvement in the alleged diversion of N13 billion belonging to the Oyo State Government. Reports have it that Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, was after the bank’s MD Ifie Sekibo, for ignoring invitations by the commission.

N13bn belonging to the Oyo State Government was said to have been lodged in some secret accounts in the bank through some government officials. EFCC source said: “We recently got information about some suspicious accounts in Heritage Bank. We believe the funds in the accounts are part of the proceeds of crime, particularly money laundering and outright diversion of public funds.

“We received intelligence reports from some concerned citizens that the money, which is about N13bn was diverted from Oyo State between 2014 and 2015 and the money found its way into some secret accounts fraudulently manipulated by top management of Heritage Bank on behalf of some prominent government officials of Oyo State.

“The money was deposited in a secret fixed account with an agreement to share the accrued interest among them.” But the bank in a statement said categorically and unequivocally that neither the MD, Mr. Ifie Sekibo nor any member of the management staff of the bank was being investigated by the EFCC on a N13 billion fraud. The statement read thus: Our attention has been drawn to Sunday Punch Newspaper and other online news (Sunday 27th August) report of an alleged N13billion fraud involving the Managing Director and other staff members of the bank of funds belonging to the Oyo State government.

The Management will want to categorically and unequivocally state that neither the MD – Mr. Ifie Sekibo nor any member of the management staff of the bank is being investigated by the EFCC on a N13billion fraud.

Contrary to the false report by some news platforms, the EFCC had informed the bank of an account (not related to OYO state government as likewise verified by the Punch Newspaper via the State’s Finance Commissioner) being investigated by the agency. Over the last week, the bank has fully cooperated with EFCC by providing various documentation and also presented its staff in this regard.

Management finds it distasteful, unethical and unprofessional of these media houses to tarnish the image of Mr Ifie Sekibo – MD/CEO and the bank. We urge the general public to disregard the article in its entirety.

KATSINA: Armed robbers dispense free fuel to motorists

Armed robbers on Saturday night dispensed free fuel to motorists along Katsina/Jibia road, from the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation mega filling station located along the road. They later carted away money made for the day.

Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred about 8 p.m.

According to the witness, the robbers arrived posing as security agents before going on with the business of the day.

Done with what they came for, they reportedly took over the sale of the fuel and dispensed fuel to the bewildered motorists without harming them.

The witnesses could not, however, give the exact number of the armed robbers or the type of uniforms they were putting on, but they insisted that the operation lasted ‘’few minutes’’.

Katsina Police command spokesman, Dsp Gambo Isa, could not be reached for comments by press time.

Boko Haram kingpin, who kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls, surrenders

A top commander of the Boko Haram Sect who played a major role in the abduction of over 200 girls of Government Secondary School, Chibok in 2014, Auwal Ismaeela, has surrendered to the military in Borno State.

Auwal is among over 100 members of the sect who have surrendered recently to the military.

Abuja based public relations outfit to the military and security agencies, the PR Nigeria, stated in a report on Sunday that the Boko Haram commander now undergoing interrogation also confessed to have participated in the killings of youths in Madagali, Adamawa State and other parts of the North East.

He was said to have have denounced the atrocious acts he was forced to commit against humanity while speaking at a special military facility for surrendered and repentant members of the deadly group.

Auwal was said to have confessed that he and one Abu Hafsat led the Boko Haram commanders to carry out the abduction of the Chibok girls.

He was also said to have confessed to the killing of students Central Secondary School in Sabon Garin Madagali in 2014.

He said that he regretted his actions which he said were against Islamic junctions and urged his colleagues to give up the fight and surrender to the military authorities.

It was stated that Auwal was helping the security agencies with useful information on the location of commanders of the sect.

He said that he lost his right leg in an attack at Konduga, Borno State but continued with the Boko Haram because he was brainwashed.

“Abu Hafsat, a Boko Haram commander, and I led other squads to abduct the Chibok girls. We led the operations to invade Gwoza, Bama, Limankara mobile barrack, Bita, Bosso, Madagali, Chibok, Pulka, Firgi, and Mubi.
“In Madagali which was my home town, Adam Vitiri, Abu Adam and Habu Kudama, some high ranking Boko Haram Commander and I led an operation in 2014 where we killed some students and youths at the Central Secondary School in Sabon Garin Madagali.
“In one of the operations, I abducted my wife named Maryam who had two kids for me in Sambisa Forest.
“It is unfortunate that I was brainwashed and misled not only on some abductions but in the killings of my own people that were innocent. I wholeheartedly regret my actions.
“During a battle in Konduga Boko Haram commanders and I led the operations, I lost my right leg and was almost got burnt. Even at that, I did not stop fighting for the cause. Sheikh Shekau ordered that I should be given a tricycle which I continued to use for various operations before I eventually surrendered.” He was quoted as having said.

He said that he had to surrender to the military because he was tired of the senseless killings with the members resorting to stealing and acts opposed to the teachings of Islam.

He recalled that women were being raped in public, children starved to dead and many dying daily.

“I willingly surrendered to the military because I was tired of the senseless killings and fights. I realised that our people have resorted to stealing and all sorts of atrocity contrary to the teachings and practice of Islam.
“Women were being raped, sometimes publicly. Children died from malnutrition and disease as the living condition became harsher. As there was no food in the camp, people died every day because of hunger.
“I will continue to cooperate with the security agencies in providing useful information on our mode of operations and to disclose top-secret hideouts of our commanders.”

Navy intercepts 1.1m litres of alleged stolen diesel in Rivers

The Nigerian Navy has intercepted 1.1 million litres of diesel allegedly stolen from pipelines belonging to multinational oil companies in Rivers. No fewer than 13 suspects have also been arrested on account of their alleged role in illegal shipment of petroleum products to undisclosed locations in the state.

Capt. Victor Choji, the Executive Officer of the Nigerian Navy Ship Pathfinder (NNS), Port Harcourt, disclosed this to journalist on Sunday in Port Harcourt. Choji said the seizure and arrest was sequel to the intensified mop-up operation in the Niger Delta ordered by naval authorities to stamp out oil theft and illegal refining in the region. He said that a vessel, a tug boat, a barge and five large wooden boats were also seized at different locations during the operation.

The seized items and suspects were handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for further action. “In line with strategic directives to rid Rivers State of oil theft and illegal bunkering, troops of NNS Pathfinder under Operation Delta Safe, made some arrests and seizures at different locations. “On May 6, troops intercepted and seized a vessel, MT Preye I and five very large wooden boats with about 409,399 litres of suspected refined diesel at Eagle Island.

“Eleven crew members on board the vessel were subsequently arrested and had been in our custody undergoing investigation,” he said. Choji said the suspects were caught while loading the petroleum product from five wooden boats in the late hours of the night.

“Similarly, on June 19, troops impounded a tug boat, PK II, and a barge, Naomi 03, laden with about 700,000 litres of suspected illegally refined diesel. “Two suspects were arrested over their involvement in the illegal shipment of the petroleum product,” he added. He said that a large number of troops had been deployed in the region in line with a harmonised standard operating procedure aimed at enforcing law and order in the area.

The executive officer of the NNS assured that the navy would not rest in its bid to stop all forms of illegalities in the maritime environment. Receiving the items and the suspects, Mr Micheal Adukwu, a senior official of the EFCC, commended the navy and said that there was a synergy in the operations of the two security outfits. Adukwu assured that EFCC would carry out further investigations and prosecute the suspects.

A woman has been left blind following an attack by unknown gunmen at her residence in Edo State. The gunmen were said to have killed her husband and only daughter raped.

According to the woman Elizabeth, the men stormed their residence on No 5 Adesuwa Street in Benin in an Ash coloured Toyota Camry car at about 9pm on the fateful day, while the family was busy watching Television.

Some hard rapping on the door, followed by banging and shouts of: “Where is Agbonlahor?”, signalled trouble and generated fear in the members of the family. But, paralyzed with fear, they could not open the door, forcing the irate assailants break it down.
“Immediately they found their way into our sitting room, I tried to beg them and to inquire why they were looking for my husband. They shouted at me saying, ‘do you think that we are here to play?’ And they started beating me. In the process, one of them used his gun to hit me on my left eye,” recalled Mrs. Agbonlahor.

Her daughter, Prayer, tried to escape, but was caught and raped. Her screams attracted her father from his room to rush to the scene. He was shot on the chest and died on the spot, said the widow.
Mrs Agbonlahor said after shooting her husband, the gunmen fled, leaving her in severe trauma and panic.

I could not imagine seeing my husband killed in my presence, after raping my daughter. I was also in great pains because of the injury on my eye. However, I managed to report the matter to the police who arrived at the scene and deposited his body at the mortuary, while my daughter was taken to the hospital for treatment.”
“In fact, I am dumbfounded at the whole thing. Now, I have been made to become a widow overnight, my daughter was assaulted, while I am partially blind. What is my offence?”
Mrs Agbonlahor has now relocated to their village with her daughter for fear of her husband’s killers returning to eliminate him.

Britain's most violent prisoner is campaigning for the right to have a baby with his soap actress fiancee by asking for sex visits from his partner former Coronation Street star Paula Williamson .

Charles Bronson, who is an inmate in HMP Wakefield, says he will make an amazing father despite his reputation as one of the country's most notorious prisoners and has spent the majority of the past four decades imprisoned for a series of violent crimes.

EFCC freezes N8.6billion in Bola Shagaya's accounts

3 accounts belonging to Hajiya Muinat Bola Shagaya, a former associate of ex-first lady Patience Jonathan has been frozen by the EFCC.
According to The Nation, Shagaya’s relationship with about 10 firms/account names are also being investigated by the anti-graft agency.

But Shagaya, who did not hold any public appointment during the administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has dragged Unity Bank to the High Court of Lagos State for allowing the EFCC to Post No Debit (PND) on her accounts without a valid court order.

She says the action taken on her accounts violates Section34 (1) of the EFCC Act, 2004. Besides, the withdrawal ban placed on one of her accounts has prevented her from defraying a N514, 800,000 debt incurred as cumulative costs in the course of an Aircraft Lease Agreement of a bombardier Jet.

However, Unity Bank says its hands are tied by the law in complying with the EFCC’s directives to freeze Shagaya’s accounts. Hearing of the matter is slated for September 28, 2017.

I Was Abused In My Last Relationship - Uche Ogbodo

Actress Uche Ogbodo, has opened up on what she wants in a man.

Speaking with The Sun, Uche, talked about her love life, career, gender equality and more.

Read excerpts from her interview:
What do you think about gender equality?

I think gender equality is good. As human beings, I really don’t think there should be a difference, and that a particular gender should feel superior to the other. There is no difference between you and the other person; the only difference is sex. So, everyone should be treated equally, because women also work as hard as men. I don’t understand why women are not equal to men. Right now, I am doing bigger and harder stuff than the man next to me.

As a woman, I want to be successful, so I put in extra effort in what I do. I don’t understand why someone will try to embarrass or harass me because of my sex, telling me that I am a woman and I shouldn’t do this or that. I am a woman and I believe in gender equality.

Are you giving love another chance?

No. I don’t even know what love is. I don’t even know if love is real. I can feel it but I don’t know if it is real.

Are you saying you are done with love?

I’m better now. Believe me, I’m at a better place than I was some years ago. I was numb for a long time but I am healing gradually. I am not fully healed, but I’m healing because the experience was bad. I’m not somebody that talks too much about my downfalls and failures. But right now, I’m scared; I’m very scared.

Was there an abuse in the relationship?

You know, I wasn’t married. I was just engaged but the media attacked me as a married woman. But in the relationship I had there was no abuse. Well, there would have been abuse because there are different kinds of abuse like I do say, but it doesn’t have to be physical. If I am allowed to say that lying and deceit are a form of abuse then I will tag it psychological abuse. He was messing with my head; all the depression that came with it makes it an abuse. So yes, I think he was probably abusive because I wasn’t concentrating, I didn’t know what I was doing.

What was the breaking point?

The breaking point would be when I found out that he was never going to be different from who he was. He was not ready to make amends. Of course, I knew about his flaws despite the fact that he was lying to cover up some things. But I was ready to patch things up with him if he was ready to change. You see, I have worked so hard and I didn’t want to go down. I knew this because I was strong. I could push but he wasn’t ready.

Do you think marriage completes a woman?

No, I don’t think marriage completes a woman.

Is marriage an achievement?

Marriage is just companionship. It is when you feel lonely and you have somebody around who understands you.

Many Nigerian women see marriage as a trophy they should carry around. What is your take on this?

I don’t see it as a trophy. I think it is more about bonding, understanding and sharing moments with someone you love. Probably, I can say having and raising good kids can be more of a woman’s trophy. I think by having children you are bringing something to the world, that’s more like it.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?

Uche (Ogbodo) would be bigger than she is right now, because I am working hard on it. By the grace of God, I will be an achiever. I have political ambitions and I am going to get there. Although, I don’t have any specific thing I want to do right now and I don’t know how I am going to get there, I know that I would be there someday. Probably, I will get more children and I would be married too.

What are you looking for in a man?

A man that loves me should support what I am doing. I am not materialistic, I just need a strong base and I need someone who can push me to achieve my dreams. Let’s push each other, and don’t just throw me out there and you are moving, because I want to move too. You are a man, I want to be successful and you want to be successful too, so let us be successful together. I need a partner, not an authority.

I just need the youths to support my political ambition - Kcee

Singer Kcee in a recent interview with Sunday Scoop has again made it known he is bent on running for the governorship seat in Anambra state.

Read his full interview below:

Are you really serious about your ambition to become Anambra State governor?

It’s not a joke. It is a movement to serve and work for my people and offer them a valued experience that they would never forget. As a youth who believes in this country and in my state, I decided to come out. We’ve been hearing that youths are the leaders of tomorrow for too long, and now that the age requirement for running for office has been officially reduced by the National Assembly, I’ve decided to make good use of the opportunity. I am here to save the future.

The election is just a few months away, how do you intend to stand up against politicians who have been on the field for longer?

I know that they wouldn’t give me the chance because they’ve been doing it for a very long time. But if I have the support of the youths, we would emerge victorious. I’m not scared; I just implore the youths to support me.

Which platform would you be running on?

I really cannot say much about that now because my campaign manager has instructed me not to say anything.

Do you have any prior experience in politics?

I’ve never been involved in politics before now. It is the hunger and drive for transformation and progress that is pushing me.

Shortly after you uploaded your campaign poster on the Internet, many entertainers also followed suit. Don’t you think that would make people not to take you serious?

Well, that is the industry for you. The attention and buzz I got when I put the poster online was massive and it was obvious that a popular youth had declared his ambition. Most of my colleagues think it’s a joke and they’re trying to cash in on the trend. But I am actually serious.

Artistes are usually fun lovers; do you think entertainers can cope with the rigours of political leadership?

Of course; life is easy. In America, everything is working for them. When Donald Trump won the presidency, a lot of people questioned how a businessman with no prior political experience could lead the United States. They said the wife was a stripper and made all sorts of allegations but today, they live in the White House and they are the world leaders. I don’t care what anybody says about me; what matters is who I am as an individual. That I’m a musician does not mean I’m stupid. For example, I don’t smoke and I pray a lot. But a lot of people think all entertainers smoke and drink. Mind you, this doesn’t mean that I’m better than those who smoke, or that they are better than me; it just goes to show that you shouldn’t stereotype people.

Is it that you’ve stopped smoking, or you mean you’ve never smoked?

I have never smoked in my entire life. The only time I’ve held a cigarette was while shooting a music video. If I want to unwind, I just take a little sip here and there, and I’m good.

Why did it take you four years from the time you released your last album till now before putting out another one?

The industry doesn’t support album projects and this makes some of us to see it as a waste of time, money and energy. After my last album, I was very busy travelling round the world performing, but I’ve never slacked in releasing singles. The songs I’ve released after my last album are enough to fill up an album. Having that long interval between my albums doesn’t mean I’m a lazy artiste but I think this would be the last time that I would wait so long before releasing an album. I may even release one next year.

What inspired the title of the album, Attention to Detail?

The idea is for people to pay attention to me as a person, beyond the music. I’ve been around for over a decade and there have been lots of ups and downs, so I just decided to talk directly to my fans and I want them to pay attention to Kcee.

Do you think the songs on this new album can actually do better than your past hits like Limpopo and Pull Over?

No artiste can answer that question because we’re not God. Even for Limpopo that brought me a lot of success, its video was the cheapest I’ve ever shot. The song was recorded in few minutes so there wasn’t much effort to it. I never knew that the song would become that big. Pull Over was also the last song I recorded on my last album. I had actually planned to make a remix of Limpopo with Wizkid. But when we were in the studio, the producer, Del B, just played a beat and Wizkid started singing to it. That is how we came up with Pull Over. This goes to show that you never really know which song would become a hit until it becomes one. For me, I’ve put in my best to this album and I believe it’s better than the last one but God has the final say.

Five Star Music members are always flaunting cash; doesn’t that make people to demand a lot from you?

It does but we can’t stop it. That’s the lifestyle we live. I believe God would always give us the resources to help people.

People also criticise you for that, doesn’t it bother you?

Such is life. There is nothing you do that people wouldn’t criticise. When former President Jonathan was in office, people were abusing him, and the current president is also facing the same thing. I never get distracted by what people say. So long as I know that what I’m doing is right, I am not bothered. A lot of people go on social media to say mean things to hurt you and bring you down but I don’t pay them any attention.

Artistes usually dump their record labels, sometimes without fulfilling their contracts. Why does this happen and can’t it be stopped?

It cannot stop. It has nothing to do with the industry but with the individual involved. A lot of people went through record labels and kept to their contracts. There are some politicians that come into office and fulfill their campaign promises while some don’t, so it happens across all sectors. It’s more about the person’s upbringing. I think the best way to get out of this is to keep educating artistes that before you sign any contract, make sure you get your lawyers. Most times, when these artistes come begging for record deals; they don’t have lawyers or family members. But when they begin to make little money, their parents and lawyers swarm around them and start giving them different kinds of advice.

Since it has also happened to you, has it made you weary of signing new artistes and supporting young talents?

No, it has not. Inasmuch as there are bad people, there are also nice people in the world. I was signed to Kennis Music for a while and I kept to the terms of the contract. I was with him recently and he said I’m one of the best artistes that he has worked with. Till today, we’re still friends. Meanwhile, some other artistes fought with him so you can see that it’s all about the individual.

Many people don’t know who is older between you and your brother-Money?

They already know now. In fact, they don’t even need to know. The most important thing is that we’re brothers.

You usually give credit to E-Money and call his name in your songs which makes some people feel like you’re idolizing your younger brother; is that right?

I don’t care. They should go and do the same thing to their brothers and if they don’t have, they should go and buy. People should live us alone to live our lives in the best way we know how to.

Some people also say that the wealth you and your brother command cannot be from music alone; what other business are you involved in?

All the money we make is legitimate. Music is what has been giving me money all my life; I have never done any other business. It is even now that I’m trying to diversify into other things. We are involved in real estate; we have lots of properties that we let out to people. Very soon, I’ll be launching some merchandised items such as lingerie, underwear, headphones, among others. However, music is still the key for me because it is what got me everything I have. If you know how to invest, you will always get more.

Nothing much is known about your family, why is that so?

I don’t want to say anything about my family; the focus should be on my career.

There was a time you allegedly denied ever being married; meanwhile your wedding pictures are still on the Internet, is that true?

I never said so. Whenever I’m asked this question, I always say I don’t want to talk about it. Then some people went ahead to give it a different interpretation. Anyway, that’s the person’s business. I have never told anybody whether I’m married or not.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I dress according to the way I feel at every particular time.

People have also criticised your fashion choices, does that get to you?

I don’t care about that. I’m still making money and I’m still looking good. Over the years, I gave people the impression to think in a particular way and I’ve got the attention I need. They should keep saying I don’t know how to dress; it does not stop people from paying me for shows.

What’s your favourite fashion item?

I don’t joke with my earrings and I don’t step out of the house without it. I love wrist watches, good clothes, shoes and anything fashionable. I have lost count of the number of shoes I own and trust me when I say there are a whole lot of them. I also have lots of clothes and wrist watches that I don’t even know where to keep them.

How do you unwind?

I hang out with my family. I love my job a lot so even when I’m not performing, I still listen to music. I’m a workaholic, so I rarely take time off.

Re-arrest Kanu and quicken the realization of Biafra : IPOB leader's family dares FG

The family of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the group itself, have dared the Federal Government over the latter’s move to get the director of Radio Biafra, who is on bail, re-arrested.

Federal Government had last Friday filed an application for the revocation of his bail, claiming that the IPOB leader had flouted all his bail conditions, including setting up a security outfit, Biafra Security Service (BSS).

Speaking in Umuahia on behalf of the family, Nnamdi Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu said his elder brother was not afraid of being re-arrested as that would help fastrack the actualization of Biafra...........

“In fact that will facilitate and fast track the coming of Biafra. On a more serious note, any attempt to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu will spell doom for Nigeria, the nation will never be the same again. Re-arresting the IPOB leader means re-arresting over 70 million Biafrans. Nnamdi Kanu is not the target, he is the symbol of Biafra today, arresting him is like arresting the whole Biafrans.”

According to The Sunday SUN, Prince Kanu said it was laughable that one of the reasons the Nigerian government had given for seeking Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest was that he formed what they called Biafra Secret Service (BSS).

He said it was not true, explaining that what was put in place is a vigilance group, adding that they are harmless people because IPOB is non violent, but only uses civil disobedience as its weapon.
“This group is just to police our land against Fulani herdsmen, armed robberies and all that.”

The younger Kanu said it was wrong for the Federal Government to say that the IPOB leader had flouted the bail conditions given by the court, stating:
“I don’t think it sounds okay before anybody. Freedom of movement is allowed anywhere,, any day worldwide. Is Nnamdi Kanu a terrorist? So, we disagree with the Federal Government on that.”
“In fact, Nnamdi Kanu remains resolute and very committed to the struggle. Whatever you do in terms of intimidation spurs him on the more. These are the type of things he likes so much. So, re-arresting him will make him stronger and quicken the realization of Biafra and will also spell doom for the nation.”

Prince Kanu said his brother was granted bail on health grounds and that he was still taking treatment and had an appointment with his doctor on Monday. He added that his treatment had taken long because his brother was allegedly almost poisoned while he was in detention.

The family further stated:
“The Federal Government’s current threat will never make Nnamdi Kanu to be afraid to stand trial for whatever reason. Anyday, anytime, he is ready to stand trial because he is a man who has committed no crime. He is more than happy to stand trial and challenge whosoever that comes up. He is not afraid of going to court, he is not also afraid of going to prison. He was in prison and issued the sit-at-home order and people obeyed, so, his going back to prison will make things worse for the Federal Government.
“Nnamdi Kanu and Arewa youths that gave the Igbo in the North quit notice, who between the two committed treasonable felony? It was the Arewa youths and since then, nothing has happened to them.”

Speaking for IPOB, Apostle Kanada, an inner caucus member of the Biafra agitation group and founder of Afra Descendants Movement of Opobo in Rivers State, advised the Federal Government not to contemplate re-arresting Nnamdi Kanu because the action would be self defeating.

Kanada said the IPOB leader never flouted any bail condition, as curtailing his movement was on its own against his fundamental human rights since according to him Nnamdi Kanu was not a statue.

“Whether he accepted the bail condition or not is immaterial at this point in time, what we are saying is that the young man is positively affecting the lives of some people and the Federal Government is supposed to be happy about that.
“If Nnamdi Kanu is re-arrested as the Federal Government is requesting, things will be worse for this country, because IPOB members and other Biafra groups both within and outside Igbo land will not fold their arms and allow their leader to suffer,” he cautioned.

Olori Wuraola Never Cheated On Ooni - Source Reveals

It is no longer news that the Ooni of Ife and his wife Olori Wuraola are no longer together.

A new reason as to why the marriage packed up as been revealed by Thisday.

According to a source who spoke with Spy Glass, Olori Wuraola had been victimised by some of Ooni’s family members due largely to the fact that she is not Yoruba and because they wanted to turn her to their slave.

Olori however remained quiet all through because she not only loves her husband but respects the institution of marriage.

Contrary to the insinuations that she couldn’t stand the sight of another woman sharing the bed with her husband, the source said, ‘‘Olori Wuraola is aware of the Yoruba tradition that a king is allowed to marry more than one wife. It was part of the orientation she was given before marriage. However, the plot to bring her person down and relegate her in her marriage is what she can’t stand. “

The source, who was quick to also dismiss the allegation of infidelity against the Olori, said, “The Yoruba cosmology and belief state that when a king is married to an Olori, nobody else dares sleep with the Olori. Death is the repercussion. If Olori is truly promiscuous, why is she still alive or why is it that none of the men who had allegedly slept with her has died?

“It’s widely known that before Adeyeye married this Olori he has chased away two women in his life. This shows that the problem is not from Olori Wuraola, but from the Kabiyesi himself.”

Speaking further, the source said Wuraola did not enjoy the maariage for a day. In fact, she never enjoyed the marriage for a day, she kept wondering what actually led her into the marriage in the first instance. It was that terrible”

Olori Wuraola, who was described as a millionaire and a successful businesswoman before she got married to the first-class monarch, was said to have supported the Oba in so many ways.

‘’The three sisters have never liked the beautiful Benin born from the very first day she set her feet in the palace. And they didn’t pretend, they showed it to her. But she didn’t get the signal,’’ the source revealed.

It was reliably gathered that none of the Ooni’s sisters had been in any blissful marriage. “Princess Folashade is married to an American returnee, who has a wife and kids in the United States. Princess Adeshola broke up with her Pastor husband for un-publishable reasons. Adebimpe, at 40, also left her husband, Dawudu, who still works in the Ooni’s palace,” said the source.

The three sisters known as Yeye 1,2,3 according to our source rely on their brother, the monarch for survival.
