Ex-Manchester Player, Rio Ferdinand Loses Wife To Breast Cancer

Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand’s wife Rebecca has died following a short battle with breast cancer.

The QPR defender revealed in a statement released on the club’s website that his wife passed away aged 35 on Friday night in hospital.

“My soul mate slipped away last night. Rebecca, my wonderful wife, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London,” he said.

“She was a fantastic loving mother to our three beautiful children. She will be missed as a wife, sister, aunt, daughter and granddaughter. She will live on in our memory, as a guide and inspiration.

“Myself, my parents Janice and Julian, along with Rebecca’s parents Lesley and Stephen, would like to thank our families, friends and my club colleagues who have rallied around in these desperate days, weeks and months.

“Our grief, as a family, is total. We
would appreciate being allowed to
mourn privately,” Ferdinand added.

NIGERIAN NATIVE DOCTOR JAILED IN US FOR PREPARING FAKE CHARMS FOR DRUG PUSHERS

A Nigerian-born native doctor has been jailed for 14 years in the United States of America (USA) for collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars from cocaine traffickers looking to get his supernatural protection from authorities.

Christopher Omigie, a naturalized U.S. citizen, was said to have portrayed himself as a witchdoctor.

He was sentenced Thursday in a federal court in Beaumont, Texas after pleading guilty last year to conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Omigie has been living in Lafayette,
Louisiana,Prosecutors said the 58-year-old provided traffickers with card readings, massages with magic ointments, razor blade cuttings and
various magic powders, belts, coconuts and rocks to keep law enforcement away. They didn’t work.  His main clients were caught and pleaded guilty to schemes, involving cocaine trafficking.

Breaking News: Veteran Nollywood Actor, Peter Bruno Dies

Despite the fact that we don't like to report this type of news, we still have to post it. After a long battle with stroke, veteran actor Peter Bruno has died.

The actor died in the early hours of yesterday, Friday May 1st. His son, Peter Junior, who is also an actor took to Facebook to announce his passing.

"In the early hours of today, my father, friend, teacher, confidant passed on." he wrote

Recall that Late Peter Bruno had complained for years, accusing his colleagues, even the ones hementored in the industry, of abandoning after he fell ill.

"Since this thing happened there has been no single actor that called me to ask about my condition. It is a shame on their part. Would they say they don't know that I am sick? 'I had a stroke and that was the end of it" he had lamented before death finally took him to join his colleagues in the likes of Pete Eneh, Sam Loco Efe, Justice Esiri, Ashley Nwosu, David Ihesie, Enebeli Elebuwa and some other veteran actors who passed on recently.

Yung Joc arrested after speeding with a suspended license and a warrant out for his arrest.

Things aren't looking great for Yung Joc after he was pulled over by police for speeding in Atlanta yesterday. His speed ended up being the least of his problems, as cops discovered he was driving with a suspended license, and on top of that, there was already a warrant out for his arrest.
