Alaba Market Big Boy, Azu, Caught In Kidnap Operation

Not all that glitters are gold, according to our elders. One of the big boys in the popular Alaba Int'l Market in Lagos, Azuoma Nwabugoh, popular known as Azu, has been arrested along with members of his kidnap gang who are also apprentice boys in his shops.
“My boss (Azu) brought the guns and we went to kidnap the victim. My boss drove the man to an undisclosed place in the man’s jeep while I followed in another car.
“It was when my boss returned to Lagos that he gave me the victim’s vehicle to sell to Arinze.Arinze gave me N50,000 and I handed it over to my boss. My boss then gave me N30,000.”
 This is the confession of one of Azu's apprentice, while owning up to the crime. He confirmed that it was him and Azu that executed the kidnapping. But Azu is crying and denying.

Men of the Lagos State Police Command recently smashed a kidnapping syndicate in the Okokomaiko area of the state led by popular Alaba Market big boy, Azu.

Police authorities gave the names of the suspects as:

Azuoma Nwabugoh, Chimobi Onuoha, Moses Okoh, Nwachukwu Nwandike and Michael Arinze.

The suspects were arrested after policemen attached to Ilemba Hausa Division recovered a vehicle belonging to a kidnap victim, Obinna Okpara, who was locked inside a toilet for over one week . After kidnapping the victim, Azu and his boys allegedly sold the car to one Michael Arinze.

Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said:
“On August 8, 2013, around 8.45pm, one Obinna Okpara was kidnapped in front of his house at Awka in Anambra State. He was released on September 9, 2013, after a ransom was paid.

“His vehicle was, however, traced to the house of one Michael Arinze at Etegbin Road, Ajangbadi, Lagos. Upon interrogation, Arinze said he bought the vehicle from one of the suspects.

“He said the vehicle, a black Toyota RAV4 with registration number, ABN 42 AA, was sold to him for N800,000, adding that he paid N50,000 as down payment.”


Azu and his boy have been transferred to SARS. But Azu is claiming innocence, saying police should allow him go back home to his pregnant wife and three children.

“All these allegations against me are false. I don’t know the victim. I am a trader at Alaba Market and most of the suspects you see are my apprentices,” he said.

Why I Wanted To Use Human Parts For Money Rituals – Man Caught With Body Parts Confesses

The quest for wealth has sent many into taking desperate steps as residents of Masfala area of Ibadan, Oyo State were shocked to their marrow on Tuesday, September 17, when a polythene bag containing human parts was discovered in an uncompleted building by policemen who stormed the area at noon. 
 
They were further amazed when the culprit turned out to be an herbalist, Abideen Raheem (35), who lives in a building very close to where the human parts were found. The parts were two hands cut from the wrists down.

The suspect is currently helping homicide detectives at the State Criminal InvestigationDepartment (SCID), Iyaganku, in theirinvestigations into the case.

Crime Reports gathered that information about the presence of the body parts in the neighbourhood first got to Operation Burst operatives. They were joined by detectives from Ogbere police station, and when confronted with the body parts, Raheem confessed that he was the one who put them in the polythene bag but claimed that he took them from a dead body he found at Ibadan Toll Gate area.

When detectives went to the spot he claimed to have seen the dead body, no carcass was found, an indication that the suspect was economical with the truth.

Raheem however opened up at the CID during interrogation, confessing that he removed the hands and head from a corpse in a grave at Muslim cemetery at Aba Onde area on Monday September 9 and hid them beside the cemetery. He revealed that he went back a week after, precisely on September 16 to take the hands while he still kept the head there.

Police sources told Crime Reports that the head had been recovered from where it was kept, but the identity of the corpse remains unknown.


In an interview with Crime Reports, the deceased said it was his quest to become rich that pushed him to committing the act, saying that he knew he was in trouble when police came to arrest him. He also said that the act was his first attempt. The Ibadan indigene, who is married with three children, said he was an herbalist and also into poultry business. “I learnt the profession from a herbalist who is dead. My poultry business failed during last Ramadan period as I lost 100 birds.

“I went to Muslim burial ground at Aba Onde to exhume a corpse from a grave. I cut the hands and the head. I used my hands to dig the grave and cut the parts with the knife I took there. The corpse was already decomposing so it was not difficult. I wanted to use them for money ritual for myself.

“The Baba who trained me said if I got those parts, I would burn the hands along with a snail, a turtle and Sawepepe leaves and mix the ash with black soap. I would then put the soap on the head and would be using it to litter the floor of my room so that my business would get be boosted by the number of the clients that would be flocking my office for consultation,” he narrated.

Though he said he regretted his action, he stated that he would not have known that God existed indeed if he had not been caught. He pleaded for mercy from the government, promising not to do such again.

Confirming the story, the police image maker, Olabisi Okuwobi-Ilobanafor said that the state policecommissioner, Mohammed Indabawa, had ordered the State CID to conduct further investigations into the case, adding that the suspect would be charged appropriately after the conclusion of investigations.

However, a larger photo reveals that Kim Kardashian (who made sure everyone, including Iovine, was accounted for in the pics she posted on her respective Instagram account) was sitting to the left of her boyfriend. Surely Oprah didn't curve Kardashian on purpose, but it's still hella funny.

According to TMZ, Iovine threw the party at his house in Los Angeles for the Emmy Awards and as a birthday party for Liberty Ross. Mick Jagger and Dre were also in the spot, which included a performance from R. Kelly.

Man And Lover Roll And Fall Off Cliff While Having Se'x In A Car

Monday 23rd September 2013 – A 34 year old man from Gilgil met his death over the weekend after he rolled down a cliff while having s*x with his lover in a car.

The two decided to romp in a car while on their way to Nakuru when they met their tragic end. The man died instantly while the lady is in critical condition at the Nakuru War Memorial hospital.

Sources reveal that the two paused along the way when evening fell to romp before continuing with the journey. The man who is married was going to see his family and so would not have time with his side dish.

However, they were unfortunate because in the process they got so carried away. The man unknowingly released the hand brake in the throes of passion and the car started moving without them realizing. Just moments after, his car rolled down hill and crashed into a ditch.

The Nakuru police boss said that the lady survived the tragedy though she is in critical condition. He condemned such behavior urging locals to avoid behaving like animals who cannot control their s*xual urges.

Police Take Over UNILAG Gate To Prevent Students Protest Over Strike

Morethan ten police vans are stationed at the gate of the University of Lagos today with   a couple others  sighted on campus.

The students of UNILAG began mobilizing via  social media networks late last week, inviting other students to join in a protest that would likely commence at the varsity gate like the fuel subsidy protest of January 2012, held at the Gani FAwehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota.

The students want the Nigerian government to quickly end the ongoing lecturers strike by honoring  its agreement of 2009 with  university teachers, but other issues topping their agenda include requests for the reinstatement of Student Union Government (SUG) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and reversal on the hike in tuition fees at the Lagos State University (LASU).

KENYA MALL ATTACK: Assault Begins to Free the Remaining Hostages

Kenyan security forces appear to have launched an assault on the Westgate shopping complex in the capital Nairobi in an attempt to break the siege there.
Gunfire and explosions were heard at the complex and a cloud of smoke could be seen billowing from the building.
A Kenyan police official said that security forces had rescued some hostages held by the attackers.
The official death toll now stands at 62 and more than 170 have been injured since the attack began on Saturday.
Kenyan Interior Minister Joseph Ole Lenku confirmed the number of dead. The Kenyan Red Cross had earlier reported that 69 people had been killed, but later revised its figure to 62.
The Somali al-Shabab movement has said it carried out the attack in retaliation for Kenyan military operations in Somalia.
Television pictures showed troops running towards the complex. Around 10-15 attackers were thought to be inside, lead by a white woman, probably of British origin.
It is not clear as yet what caused the blasts, or what impact they are having on the operation to rescue hostages taken by the militants, our correspondent reports.
The Kenyan interior minister said that the fire at the building was started by the "terrorists".
Three more attackers were killed this morning, and others injured, the Kenyan Interior Minister said.

By Sunday night, Kenyan security forces said they secured most of the shopping centre and that only a small number of hostages remained under the militants' control.

Catholic Priest, 56, Caught Having Sex With 15-Year-Old Boy

According to reports, a Catholic priest has been arrested for molesting a 15-year-old boy.

Police revealed that 56-year-old Father W. Jeffrey Paulish was caught in the act as they found the boy (who was not wearing pants) in a car on a University campus.

When he was caught, the priest initially said he was orking on his homily on campus when he met the boy, who he said was in emotional distress and needed counseling. Police say he later admitted that he met the teen through the "casual encounters" section of Craigslist.

Paulish also said he asked the boy several times if he was above the age of 18.

Paulish was charged with a felony count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse as well as unlawful contact with a minor. He was also charged with three misdemeanor counts: indecent contact with a minor, indecent exposure and corruption of a minor.

2 Herbalists Gang-Rape Housewife, Defraud Her Of N29.5M

A Magistrate Court in Osogbo, Osun State, has ordered that two herbalists accused of defrauding their client and raping her be remanded in prison.
Magistrate Olusola Aluko gave the order because of the refusal of the suspects to appear in court for 12 times without any genuine reason.
The herbalists, Musa Sule, 32, Dauda Rasaq, 40, and one Femi Akomolafe who is at large were accused of gang-raping the victim when she visited their shrine at the Sabo area of  Osogbo  to find spiritual solution to her problem of  miscarriage and also defrauding their patient of N29.5m, being the amount collected from her to solve her problem.
The victim was said to have been raped when she also complained to them that she still suffered another miscarriage despite the huge money she paid and assurances given her.
The accused persons were said to have been arraigned before a court and were admitted to bail after pleading not guilty but they refused to appear before the court afterwards.
When they finally appeared, another charge was added to the initial offences.
The charge read, “That you Musa Sule and Dauda Rasak and one Komolafe Femi who is now at large on the 3/12/10, 28/2/11, 13/4/11, 16/5/11, 16/6/11, 30/6/11, 26/7/11, 15/11/11, 29/12/11, 20/1/12, and 26/1/12 at about 9.00am at Chief Magistrate Court II, Osogbo being accused persons in a case of obtaining money, threat to life and unlawful sexual intercourse with one (name witheld) in charge Number MOS/438c/2010 did intentionally show an act of disrespect to the court as you failed to appear in court without reasonable reasons when your case was called.”
Oladoye said the accused, by not appearing after their bail, also committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 133 of the Criminal Code, Cap 34, Volume II, Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2003.
Although Sule and Rasak pleaded not guilty, they could not convince the court to grant them bail. The magistrate subsequently ordered that the duo be remanded in Ile-Ife Prison till November 5, 2013  when the case would be mentioned in court

TROUBLE: Man’s Penis amputated after taking excess Viagra To Impress GF

A 66-year-old man from southern Colombia had to have his joystick amputated after he overdosed on Viagra to impress his girlfriend.

The man, whose name has not been released, intentionally overdosed on the erectile dysfunction medicine.
As a result, he suffered an erection for several days before being forced to seek medical advice.

According to news website Colombia Reports, the joystick-enhancing drug caused the man, who is said to be a farmer and a former politician, to develop signs of gangrene.
When he sought medical help, doctors informed the patient his only option was amputation so the inflammation and gangrene would stop spreading to other parts of his body.
According to his doctor, the old man showed bruising on the testicles and joystick, he was treated and is recovering well.

In yet another incident, earlier this week, a Yemeni man died of a Viagra overdose as he prepared to sleep with his bride on their first day as a married couple.

The 25-year-old Yemeni man dosed up on five Viagra pills at one time which killed him, according to Yemini Arabic Language daily newspapwer Okaz Al Youm.

Once the wedding hall was cleared out, the unnamed man left to join his wife at their new home.
When he arrived, he fainted and collapsed and died after being taken to hospital despite doctors’ attempts to revive him.
