After gracing the pages of V Magazine and GQ, Nicki Minaj strikes gold on the latest issue of Billboard . The rap queen dazzles in a metallic outfit and black bangs on the cover, which reads “Nicki vs. the World.”

The 31-year-old businesswoman, who has the most Hot 100 hits of any female hip-hop artist, opens up about expanding her brand, empowering women , and what she learned from her “Flawless (Remix)” collaborator Beyoncé.

She also shares her love for the
movie Captain Phillips (“I’m just
obsessed with [Barkhad Abdi]“) and
comedian Larry David (“I love improv and comedy. I wish I could have done something like ["Curb Your Enthusiasm"]).

When asked about fellow rap diva Iggy Azalea, Nicki gives the writer a
“withering, wordless stare.” The
article mentions that when an Iggy
song came over the studio speaker, a member of Nicki’s team turned it off.

In addition to releasing her third
album The Pinkprint on December 15, Nicki plans to produce a TV show in 2015, is eyeing her next acting role, and is launching her as-yet-unnamed record label with singer Parker Ighile and rapper Brinx.

Eminem admitted that his past drug use almost cost him his life.

As the rapper spoke at the Wall Street Journal's Innovator Of The Year awards in New York on Wednesday, he looked haggard and gaunt.

Eminem spoke at the Wall Street Journal's Innovator Of The Year awards in New York on Wednesday While dressed in his usual uniform of black with a beanie, the lines and prominent veins in Eminem's pallid face were clearly visible.

Eminem's drug abuse started during the filming of his movie 8 Mile, when he was on set 16 hours a day and could not sleep. After being given an Ambien he sought out a prescription, and became hooked on the pills.

This soon led to him taking what he calls a 'ridiculous amount' of pills - he has admitted to abusing prescription drugs Ambien, Vicodin and Valium.

He went into rehab in 2005 and then took a three-year break from his career, before releasing the albums Relapse and Recovery.

In a documentary, How to Make Money Selling Drugs, released last year Eminem revealed that he nearly died from his addiction when he was hospitalised following an overdose.

'Had I got to the hospital about two hours later, I would have died,' he said. 'My organs were shutting down. My liver, kidneys, everything.

'They were gonna have to put me on dialysis, they didn’t think I was gonna make it.'

After his release from hospital Eminem only managed to stay off drugs for a month before relapsing.

Comedian Julius Agwu has confirmed his decision to forget about his plans to run for governor of Rivers State.

In a telephone interview with Punch he explained

“My people have asked me to drop my ambition because of a zoning arrangement within the PDP to produce the next governor of Rivers State from the riverine tribes.”

He said his kingsmen and fellow party men have given him the option of contesting for a seat in the State House of Assembly, but he said he might not accept the offer.

“The reason is that I really want to concentrate on my career. I think I am going to forget about politics for now and focus on my career,”
