Kenneth Okonkwo brags about his sexual power, says he can go for 24hrs

There's a pic of him with Mercy Johnson here because he finally addressed the long-standing rumour that they once had a fling. Kenneth Okonkwo says it's not true. But first read what he had to say about his sexual prowess. The Nollywood pioneer told Entertainment Express:
"I am strong sexually for 24 hours. My wife knows that. Each time I have an affair with any lady, she goes out to tell her friends, and her friend will end up developing interest in me. So when I married my wife, I told her if she know what's best for her she should not tell any of her female friends what we do behind closed doors or else she will lose me" Oh yeah? Lol. He continues "When I was growing up, women older than me were coming for me, right in front of my mother. These women taught me a lot of things. I started kissing at a very tender age because it was part of the things they were doing to me, and I loved it. Maybe that is why my lips are red. They taught me how to be with women. They would give me their body to play with so I grew up knowing a lot about what women want. Till today, when I am sleeping with a lady she has to cum before me. I enjoy sex more when the women have enjoyed themselves"
When asked if he ever had anything to do with Mercy Johnson, what he said after the cut...

Asked if he ever had anything to do with Mercy Johnson because of the chemistry between them in a lot of their romantic movies, which invovled a lot of kissing, Kenneth Okonkwo replied...

"That is funny, and do you know why? Before Mercy was born, or should I say when she was still in kindergarten, I had already started kissing ladies in movies. So she met me still doing it. Why would her own be different? When you match her good acting skill and my exceptional skill, it comes out natural and people would end up saying is there something going on? Mercy is like a younger sister to me. I am close to her and her husband so it makes me laugh when anybody talks about Mercy and myself in anyway. There can never be a fling between a brother and a sister. We are only professional colleagues.

Baby Elephant Cries For Five Hours After Mother Tried To Kill Him

Baby elephant 'cries' for five hours after mother tried to stamp him to death shortly after birth

Horrified zookeepers were forced to intervene after a female elephant attempted to stamp her calf to death shortly after he was born.

The female elephant had stepped on baby Zhuangzhuang almost immediately after giving birth at a Chinese zoo.

But vets initially thought it was an accident. They removed the calf to treat his injuries and returned him to his mother two hours later - but she started to stamp on him again.

Keepers drove her off and took the little elephant away.

The rejected calf then reportedly cried for five hours as staff at the Shendiaoshan Wild Animal Natural Reserve Area, in Rongcheng, Shandong province, tried to comfort him.
He is now making good progress and has been adopted by a keeper.

The calf's mother was chased away from her baby as she had tried to kill him - See more at:

"My Husband Uses 'Aboniki Balm, Robb, Dusting Powder' To Have $ex With Me - Woman Tells Court As She Seeks Divorce

A 43-year-old woman, Omolara Acchoyame, recently dazed her husband before the Igando Customary Court in Lagos State, when she alleged that $ex with her husband was torture.

Omolara, who had filed for divorce proceedings against her husband, Solomon Acchoyame, alleged that he exhibited strange behaviours while making love to her.
She alleged that he waited for her to sleep, then without waking her up, just opens her clothes and had $ex with her, adding that she never enjoyed this.

Omolara further told the court that her husband had three things which he used during $ex for lubrication, listing them as aboniki balm, mentholatum and dusting powder, adding that these things made her hate having $ex with him.

She testified that she met her husband 14 years ago and bore him three children, adding that their major quarrel was based on the fact that he didn’t know what he’s doing for a living.

“We fought most times before I left home because I don’t know what he does for a living. He goes to his village three times a week and I don’t know the reason for this since his parents are dead and when he comes back, he would say he does not have any money.

“ I would go to my sister to borrow money for him for his next trip. Yet, he will come back and curse me and my family and he doesn’t come home until midnight.

“My husband does nothing for a living. Please dissolve the marriage so that I can start my life all over again,” she said.

In his defence, the 44 year-old husband stated that when he met his wife at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo State, things were going on well for him and it was with his money that he trained her in the university.

Solomon said that after a while, he started experiencing financial difficulties and he couldn’t complete his education.

“I want to perform my obligations as a father and husband, but I am handicapped,” he said.
The case was adjourned till September 25.

Catholic Priest Hospitalised After Acid Attack

A Roman Catholic priest was hospitalized on September 13, 2013, Friday after acid was thrown at him in Zanzibar.
The incident in the semi-autonomous, mainly Muslim islands of Tanzania follows warnings by President Jakaya Kikwete that religious tension threatens peace in the nation of 45 million people.
Mr. Mohamed Mhina, Zanzibar police spokesman, said Joseph Mwang'amba had been attacked on leaving an internet cafe in the Mlandege area.
"He sustained burns in his face and shoulders. The acid burnt through his shirt," the spokesman said.
He also added that the priest was admitted to a Zanzibar hospital for emergency treatment.
Two Christian leaders were killed in Zanzibar earlier this year in separate attacks and there have been arson attacks on churches.
A Zanzibar Muslim leader, Sheikh Fadhil Suleiman Soraga, was hospitalized with acid burns in a November incident.
A separatist group in Zanzibar, Uamsho (Awakening), has been blamed by some but authorities have not linked the group with the violence.
Uamsho wants the archipelago to end its 1964 union with mainland Tanzania, which is ruled as a secular state, and wants to introduce Islamic Sharia law in Zanzibar.
Police said no suspects had been arrested following the attack on Priest Mwang'amba, who is of Tanzanian origin, and the motive was unclear.
"An investigation has been launched following this incident. At this point we have made no arrests and it is unclear who carried out the attack," said Mhina.
It would be recalled that Friday’s attack came a month after two British teenage girls were victims of a similar acid attack in Zanzibar.

We Didn’t Block Amaechi – Police

However, the Rivers State Police Command on Thursday denied blocking Governor Amaechi, from gaining access into the Government House.
The command in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Angela Agabe, described media reports on the matter as “incorrect, false, fictitious and wrong in its entirety”.
The statement reads, “The attention of the police command has been drawn to stories making the round in the media that the police blocked the road to the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt, denying His Excellency, Governor Chibuike Amaechi ,access to the Government House.
The police state categorically that they did not block the road leading to the Government House, neither did they deny Governor Rotimi Amaechi access to the Government House in Port Harcourt or elsewhere.
“The story is incorrect, false, fictitious and wrong in its entirety and it is calculated to mislead the people of Rivers State, Nigerians and the general public. The Nigeria Police Force deems it necessary to place in proper perspective the event that gave rise to the wrong information being peddled in the media.’’

I Was Attacked With Tomatoes After Snatching My Friend's Husband - Shan George Opens Up

In a recent interview, Cross River  born actress, Shan George opened up about making movies and her life in general;
Read excerpts below:

On how many movies she produced:
I produced my first movie when I was at the University of Lagos which was in 2008. It was titled All for Winnie.  Till date, I have produced 22 movies in all.

On how the scandals and controversies affect her:
As a human being, such things affect me. How we cope with it is what makes us different. For me, I see it as the hazard of the profession. Fortunately, my children are adults and can decipher truth from falsehood. Truth is, when people write false comments about you, those who are very close to you (your family) always know the truth. They are those who matter to me.
Once you have a clear conscience, then there is no fear.

On rumors of her third marriage:
There was no third marriage. Actually, it was a role I played in a movie. Entitled ‘Heartbreak’, it was shot late last year in Abuja. In the movie, I got married and the production pictures circulated in the media as part of publicity stunt for the movie. Then, some bloggers, who claim to be journalists, got hold of it and said I got married! It was just a movie wedding not a real one.

On if she regrets being an actress:
Yes. I do nurse regrets when people assume you are the roles you interpret in films. It is make-believe and if you don’t do it well, no producer comes for you again. The number two challenge of acting is the fact that people think you are what they see in movies. If you were living in a big house or you are a big Abuja babe and then when they see you in real life they want to see you in that wealthy appearance and opulence which is not in existence and then it has a psychological effect on those acting.
There was a time I was pelted with tomatoes at Alade market because some of those people believed I snatched my friend’s husband in a movie! That aside, some actors act as rich men/women in films and cannot extricate themselves from such roles in reality. They now live beyond their means and get involved in scandals because they are so desperate to meet with the standard. I am not a victim of that anyway.

On exposing skin for movie roles:
Yes, that was then. Now, I reject some scripts not because they would not pay me, (in fact, they are willing to pay double) but because of obscenity. Recently, I was invited to shoot a film in Ghana and I rejected the script because it exposes a lot of my body as a character in the movie. The producer was willing to pay me in millions but I refused.

Pawpaw joins forces with PHCN

Nollywood actor and one of the prime movers of African Interest Initiative Movement ( AIIM), Osita Iheme,MFR, has joined forces with the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, as he calls on Nigerians to be vigilant and protect power installations.

Pawpaw made this call against the backdrop of the alarming rate at which power cables and installations are being vandalised on daily basis.

He implored all and sundry to “Be on guard and help protect our common interest”, lamenting that vandals and thieves are slowing down the wheels of progress in the power sector. “A situation where power cables and installations are easy prey to vandals is totally unacceptable”.

Iheme praised the doggedness of the President Goodluck Jonathan led administration in finding a lasting solution to the power sector.

“The sincerity of the GEJ led government in tackling the power sector is commendable. It is not yet Uhuru but we sincerely believe we will get there. That is why the African Interest Initiative Movement {AIIM} is calling on Nigerians to reciprocate by watching over and protecting whatever the government installs to boost generation cum distribution of light in Nigeria.
The group condemned the non-challant attitude exhibited by Nigerians in protecting government installations.

ASUU Strike: ‘We Cannot Continue To Suffer In Silence’ – Nigerian Students Cry-Out

The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has passed a vote of no confidence on President Goodluck Jonathan for lacking the political will to revamp the education sector.

NANS, in a statement signed its national president, Prince Miaphen, said most worrisome and infuriating was his administration’s failure to implement the 2009 agreement reached with ASUU.

The statement further lamented that successful governments had paid lip services to the development of education in the country.

The statement reads in part, “We can not watch in silence as our universities and other high institutions churn out half-baked graduates every year due to incessant strike. We can not suffer in silence while individuals responsible for our travails send their own children to choice universities abroad.”

Man Rapes His Mother In Ekiti State

Exactly 21 days after Akintunde Omotehinde, a 21-year-old man reportedly molested his 60-year-old mother at Ajebamidele area of Ado Ekiti, the capital city of Ekiti State, residents of the area are still in shock over the incident.
Although the Omotehinde family kept mute over the issue, some people in the neighbourhood said they heard about the incident.
Speaking to our correspondent on condition of anonymity, some residents, said rape was not a common occurrence in the locality.

The residents spoke with our correspondent in separate interviews on Thursday.

One of the residents said, “The news was shocking. Not many of us believed the story at first but the truth cannot be hidden for too long. The woman, a petty trader, was said to have been molested by her son. She was badly injured and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

“I can tell you that the family is presently living in shame. We hear that the family members are planning to move out of the house but we cannot confirm that.”
It will be recalled that the matter was heard by a Magistrate Court in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.

The accused has been remanded in prison custody pending the determination of the case by the court.

The Prosecutor told the court that the accused person molested his mother on the August 23, 2013 at their residence at Ajebamidele Area of Ado-Ekiti.

When our correspondent visited, the victim was said to be unavailable.

A petty trader in the area, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, described the news as incredible, saying, “I don’t even know the name of the boy and I don’t know what he does for a living but I always see him on the street. I know him as an easy-going young man.”
An artisan, who pleaded anonymity, said that the accused person used to smoke and drink. He said, “I am sure that what he did was not as a result of drunkenness. It must have been premeditated.

A clergy in the area said, “What happened between the boy and his mother is evil. They allowed themselves to be used as instruments in the hands of Satan. How can one explain a situation where a son has canal knowledge of his own mother? It is evil. The boy has attracted a curse upon himself and his generation.”

The Prosecution told the court that the offence contravened Section 358 of the Criminal Code Laws of Ekiti State, 2012.

The Magistrate, Mrs. Patricia Ajibade, has ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody, pending the legal advice by the Director of Public Prosecution.

The Magistrate adjourned the case till October 16, 2013.
