Troops rescue 200 girls, 93 women in Sambisa forest

The Director, Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, has confirmed that the troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued 200 girls and 93 women during a raid on Sambisa Forest in Borno
State.

However, Olukolade could not however confirm whether the rescued girls were the Chibok girls, who were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State in April last year or not.

The Defence spokesman told punch correspondent on the telephone that the tweets on the twitter handle of the Nigeria military supplied the true
information about the military operation in Sambisa.

The Defence authorities had stated in three tweets that the soldiers rescued the girls and the women during an invasion of the Boko Haram stronghold.

It was further stated that the freed girls and women were being screened and profiled. The Defence authorities stated specifically that the military had not been able to confirm whether the girls were part of the Chibok girls, who were abducted by Boko Haram on April 14, 2014.

Facebook rolls out video calls on Messenger in Nigeria, Norway, Oman,US & others

Facebook on Monday began rolling out video calling on its Messenger mobile application, enabling face-to-face conversations among users of the app around the world.

With the new feature, users can add video to calls to another person with the same application. “You can quickly start a video call from any conversation with just one tap,” Facebook said in a statement.

“If you’re messaging with someone and realize that words just aren’t enough, you can simply choose the video icon in the top right corner of the screen and start a video call right from within an existing Messenger conversation.”

Similar services are offered by Microsoft’s Skype, Google Hangouts and Apple’s FaceTime. Facebook last year broke off Messenger from the main Facebook application for mobile users, creating a separate platform which now has some 600 million users. The world’s biggest social network also opened up Messenger to outside developers as part of its strategy to create a “family” of apps that also includes Instagram and WhatsApp.

Free calling has been available for two years to users of Messenger, although people may be required to pay for data used during the
connections.

“Video calling will expand Messenger’s real-time communication features, enabling the more than 600 million people who use Messenger every month to reach others wherever they are, from anywhere,” the statement said. “It’s fast, reliable and high quality.”

Wife to Niger-Delta’s Asari Dokubo,
Hajia Mujahidat Daba Dokubo-Asari has declared that the future of Nigeria will be bleak under the reign of president elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.

The Game Has Been Repeating The Same "Freestyle" For Four Years

The art of freestyling isn't as honored as it once was. Many artists have been guilty of pulling out the BlackBerry or spitting "off the dome" rhymes that just happen to end up on a future single.

However, most rappers are, at
least, careful about repeating on-camera freestyles. Unfortunately, The Game must not be aware of the existence of YouTube, or Reddit, where a particularly resourceful user on the hip-hop thread found five clips of The Game spitting nearly the exact same verse.

The Game recently exhausted the verse on "Breakfast Bars" on The Cruz Show, but the same lyrics can be heard all the way back in 2011. Safe to say The Game has been caught red-handed.

Is Amber Rose Dating Machine Gun Kelly?

Last we heard, Amber Rose seemed like she was leaning toward working things out with Wiz Khalifa, but some new photos of Rose getting pretty close with Machine Gun Kelly have Twitter going up. We can't confirm whether or not the two are actually an item, but the pics being passed around seem to indicate something's going down.

TMZ's sources say that MGK was being pretty liberal with the public booty-grabbing at LAX yesterday, and another shot shows the two out for a stroll while very much holding hands. Check out the photos below for yourself.
