Daddy Showkey challenges fellow music stars to display PVCs

As the new election dates of the 2015 general elections draw closer, more entertainers are doing their bit to raise awareness among their fans while making the importance of voting clear to all and sundry.

The latest to do this is the Ghetto Soldier himself Daddy Showkey who recently collected his PVC (Permanent Voter’s Card) and displayed it on social media. Not stopping there, the Galala dance advocate charged all music artistes to collect their own cards and show it online too.

According to him: ‘All artist show your pvc, and tell us your ward number and the area where you go vote before you dey talk #showdonshow #showyourPvc.’

Kendrick Lamar Leaked Some Of His Album Tracks To Michael Jackson's Son

Kendrick Lamar has been kind of stingy with sharing new music this year, leaking tracks off his untitled album sparingly.

The two official singles he has shared, "i" and "The Blacker the Berry," are enough to get most of us hype for what's to come, and fiend for more (so the plan is working). It's safe to say that if Kendrick decided to give us an album preview, we'd probably be foaming at the mouth.

The one lucky fan who had this exact opportunity last night appears to be relatively relaxed about it though, probably because he's the son of Michael Jackson so this is just life.

Prince Jackson took to his twitter to share a photo of him and K. Dot, tweeting, "Had the great honor of meeting Kendrick and hearing some of his new tracks for his upcoming album." Jackson's friend, Omer Bhatti, also had the same privilege,
writing on Facebook , "Such a great pleasure meeting @kendricklamar last night and hearing him play some new tracks for his upcoming
album. Humble guy and the Music is on another level."

It should be noted Bhatti included a fire emoji at the end of his caption, so we can probably assume this new music was very hot (tttt).

Did D’banj receive ‘head’on stage in South Africa? {Picture}

A photo of a female fan with her mouth in D’banj’s private area is currently causing a frenzy online. If it comes off as what it looks, it would not be the first time D’banj with a woman on stage but he has never gone this far.

The picture was taken at the club, where D’banj thrilled fans in South
Africa.

Pop Star, Madonna Falls Off Stage At 2015 Brit Awards

Huum i guess this kind of accident is bound to happen once in a while. Well, Madonna hit the ground hard during her performance at the 2015 BRIT awards which held on Wednesday, February 25, 2014 at the 02 Arena.

Madonna tumbled down a set of stairs, landing awkwardly after a dancer tried removing a cape she was wearing at the time of her performance.

Madonna, 56, recovered quickly and returned to the stage to finish her song “Living for love”.

The singer took to Instagram to express her feelings, “Nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up. Thanks for your good wishes!”

Madonna also released a statement that she’s fine and then explained that her cape had been tied too tight.

$1 MILLION WORTH OF COUNTERFEIT SNEAKERS SEIZED AND DESTROYED

Last year, 150,000 pairs of counterfeit sneakers- valued at $1 million- were seized from a warehouse in Olivares Compound in Parenque City, Philippines. The warehouse was shut down, Jon Taffer style, but it wasn't until recently that Philippines' authorities destroyed all of the kicks; which again were worth approximately $1million.

The lot of fake kicks included knock-off Nikes, Vans, Converse, Adidas , Skechers, and more.

“These counterfeit shoes and slippers were smuggled from China and were part of a big raid we had last year inside the Olivarez Compound in Parañaque City. We seized the warehouse to check the legality of the importation of goods but the owner failed to produce proof of payment of duties and taxes from Customs, consequently, the warehouse was padlocked and sealed for BOC custody,” Customs Commissioner John P. Sevilla said.

The one-year gap between the seizure and the actual destruction of the smuggled products was attributed to the long process that included issuance of subpoenas to the concerned consignees and brokers, the need to secure the involvement of brand owners, and the conduct of hearings in accordance with existing regulations.

Preventing counterfeit sneakers from reaching the market is always a plus, but don't you think they could've done something better with the shoes than pumping them through a wood chipper? I'm sure there are plenty of people around the world who are in desperate need of some footwear, regardless of their lack of authenticity.
