Tragic moment a wedding turns into a funeral.

A wedding in Iraq turned into the stuff of nightmares after one of the guests who was at the party accidentally shot and killed his friend.

The victim was enjoying himself on the dance floor, when a man dancing opposite pulled out a handgun.

He had intended to let the firearm off in the air - a sign of celebration in Iraq - but appeared to pull the trigger too early and shot his friend in the face.

Dead: The man in yellow stands over his friend after accidentally shooting him in the face

The stricken man fell to the floor like a stone.

It took a few moments for the guests to realise what had happened.

But as the horror started to dawn on those around the victim, who only seconds earlier had been happily dancing away, the perpetrator put the gun back in the belt of his trousers and went to the aid of his fallen friend.

The last we see of the victim is him writhing in agony before the video cuts out.

Celebration: The group of young men dance at the wedding moments before tragedy strikes

Lethal shot: This is the moment the reveler who is just out of the picture pulls the gun from his belt and fires

Horror: The guests realise something terrible has happened and clear the dance floor. The gunman in yellow looks on, while a friend of the victim desperately tries to help

2face Idibia’s Wife Blasts Fan Over Offensive Comment On Daughter Isabella

Few days ago, Tuface Idibia’s wife, Annie Macaulay took to her Instragram page to share her joy with fans.

Recent photo of Annie and her daughter Isabella

In the update she shared a photo of herself and her beautiful daughter Isabella Idibia with the caption ” #mylilmisssunshine #besties,”

Within minutes of posting the above picture, a fan identified as Osita Orih made a not-so-nice comment on the photo.

He said "that mouth of hers I will kiss it one day, I promise her that." @annieidibia1 2 #sunshine.”

The actress and mother of one definitely did not find the statement funny, as she immediately lambasted the fan saying "u r a fool!! get off my page sick man!

Actually, it takes a sick mind to leave such a message for a minor.

Osita Legacy, the man who made the comment

Meanwhile, there have been responses to the tweet by the fan, who many condemned for inciting Annie to go haywire on twitter with her response. Some have called for silence as the best way to treat such comments by some fans, while others believe the fire for fire approach is appropriate.

Monalisa Chinda and Lanre Nzeribe break up

After dating for almost a year and a half, actress Monalisa Chinda and business man Lanre Nzeribe have called it quits whisperNaija.com can authoritatively tell you. According to sources close to the actress, Monalisa walked out of the relationship about a month ago. Why they really broke up is of course only known to both of them but I know there was a lot of disagreement about a business venture they were to start together. Monalisa and Lanre were working on a magazine called Monalisa before their break up. They already got an office at Chase Mall on Adetokunbo Ademola street in VI, employed staff and even worked on the first edition of the mag before they went their separate ways. More to come...

Quote
After dating for two years,Monalisa Chinda and her socialite boyfriend Lanre Nzeribe whom she was briefly engaged to have broken up........months after sending me a PETITION from an unbaked lawyer asking me to withdraw the MEMO i sent predicting their breakup,Lanre via his lawyer threatened to sue me for N500million!....remember?

The cause of their break up is authoritatively due to confirmed infidelty hauled at Lanre, which made Monalisa walk out of the relationship a month ago.

Insiders reveal that aside from the infidelity, the duo had a business venture which Monalisa felt was not fair on her as Lanre demanded to have 70percent and give her 30percent even though her name was to be named after the venture....it wasnt fair for him to use her name and cheat on her.
Monalisa walked out and Lanre is like a woman scorned and has been threatening to release a press war on the actress who has kept quiet for fear of what people would say.

The once sugar coated relationship between the two have gone sour and the man whom Monalisa referred to as her ''best friend'' months back in an interview has become her worst enemy as they are no longer on talking terms and all hell threatens to break loose ....soon.

Socialite Lanre Nzeribe has vowed to deal with Monalisa for walking out on him and this might get messier by the day.
I implore Mr Lanre Nzeribe to leave Lisa alone and lick his wounds like a man

ASUU Withdraw From Negotiation With Government

ASUU-strikeThe Academic Staff Union of Universities on Thursday announced its disengagement from further negotiations with the Federal Government, over what it describes as the latter’s perceived insincerity in the 2009 agreement as well as the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) both parties signed in January last year.
The union National President, Dr. Nassir Faggae Isa, said at a press briefing held at the University of Lagos on Thursday that the 2009 agreement and the MoU must first be honoured, even if ASUU feels the need to consider renegotiation with the government.
The union had embarked on a total strike on July 2 over government‘s failure to honour the 2009 agreement.
Faggae said, “Consequently, our members are left with no other choice than to prosecute this strike to its logical conclusion. ASUU members nationwide are saying this striker will not be suspended until and unless the government respects the 2009 agreement and makes concrete efforts to implement it in the best interest of the country.”
According to him, during a meeting held between ASUU and the government representative on Monday, government declared that it neither had any motive to revitalize public universities through committed funding, nor was it ready to pay in full the accumulated Earned Academic Allowances between 2009 and 2013.

REVEALED: Prophet Ajanaku Was An Occuitist

It was claimed that Prophet Ireti Ajanaku resurrected  but this may have been a false attempt to keep his memory alive by some of his church members.

PHOTO: Man Shot By Drunken Policeman Loses Eye

When Nonso Ozoemena, a 28-year-old man, arrived in Lagos, his plan was to set up a business so that he would be able to support his widowed mother and his seven siblings in Anambra State.
Soon after, he was able to open a restaurant in Trade Fair Complex, FESTAC, and it seemed his dream was coming true.

His expectation was however eroded after a drunken police corporal, Mohammed Abubakar, shot him in the eye.
Ozoemena told whisperNaija.com source he was shot in the eye in the FESTAC area on August 5, 2013.
Narrating what transpired on the fateful day, he said, “I had just returned from work and I was about entering my house at Amuwo Odofin when I heard the policeman arguing with someone in the next house. The policeman then called his colleagues for help.
“When his colleagues arrived, they persuaded him to leave the place because he was drunk. After much pleading, the policeman left. A few minutes later, the policeman returned with a gun and started shooting sporadically.
“One of the bullets hit me in the right eye. A barber, Bright John, was killed.”
PUNCH Metro learnt that during the shooting, a pregnant woman was hit while anther man, Tayo Ajasa, was also shot in the thigh.
It was learnt that the policeman, who is attached to a security company in the area, fled the scene after realising the havoc he had wreaked.
Ozoemena and the other victims were later taken to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba.
It was learnt that while other victims were treated and discharged, Ozoemena, was taken to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the hospital, where the eye was operated.
The company was also said to have contributed N146, 000 to pay the medical bill.
The victim, who had been discharged, told PUNCH Metro that he had not been able to go to work since the incident occurred.
He said he had been in constant pains and had found it difficult to sleep.
Our correspondent observed that pus was coming from Ozoemena eye. But the victim said the pus was the least of his problems.
He said, “I am in so much pain. The unfortunate thing is that I have not been able to tell my mother about the incident because I don’t want her to worry.
“I don’t have perfect vision anymore. In fact, a few days ago, I was knocked down by a vehicle coming from the right side while I was attempting to cross the road.”

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Umar Manko, had declared the policeman wanted.

Manko said the wanted policeman was attached to Police Mobile Force 17, Akure, Ondo State, and wondered what he was doing in Lagos.

However, Ozoemena’s lawyer, Mr. George Nwahajioke, said the police must compensate his client. The lawyer said declaring the policeman wanted was not enough, adding that the victim’s expectations had been eroded by the loss of his eye.

Nwahajioke, who lamented the increase in police brutality, said, “Nigerians are living in fear of arrogant culture of impunity within the Nigeria Police. Nonso Ozoemena is just one of the few lucky Nigerians to survive as our police, who are supposed to protect us, now turn the barrel of their guns at us.

“We are demanding N100m as compensation from the police and the company jointly and severally to help our client get the urgent medical attention he needs.”

All efforts to contact the company proved abortive as an email sent to it was not replied, while a text message sent to it was not responded to.

Newborn Calf Has 8 Legs, 4 Ears, 2 Bodies And One Head (SHOCKING PHOTOS)

A cow in New Zealand has delivered a deformed calf who has two bodies, four ears, and eight legs on Monday.
A veterinarian of dairy farm, Neil Davy, who delivered the stillborn calf , told the website NZ Farmer that if he hadn't been there, the mother cow would have surely died.)

"It was hard going," Davy told the website, "I was up to my elbows in lube and calf goo, sweat coming off my forehead. It's not nice to see a cow in distress."
Davy told the site that he'd originally thought he was delivering twins. Close enough: identical twins come from one egg that divides, and veterinarian Jonathan Spencer told NZ Farmer that Davy's calf "[seems] like an incomplete divide of an egg."

Other odd deformities have been known to occur in cattle.
In 2012, a calf with an extra pair of legs was born in Switzerland. Although vets didn't initially think the six-legged cow had much chance of survival, the calf seemed to be doing just fine at two months old.
In January 2011, a two-headed cow was born in Georgia. The farmer said that the animal ate with both heads.

CAUGHT IN THE ACT: Gay Arrested, Beaten To a Pulp In Ogun State (PHOTO)

There was chaos at Kotodayo community in Ota, Ogun State after a young man, simply identified as Sadiq was alleged to be gay and beaten up. The incident happened at 1 Kotodayo in the Iyana-Iyesi area of Ota after Sadiq’s friend, Ibrahim (surname withheld), allegedly raised the alarm declaring that his male organ had disappeared.

According to Ibrahim, who was seen unclad before some men, Sadiq had paid him a visit last night and deep into the night, he began to made love with him.

When P.M.NEWS visited the scene, Ibrahim’s joystick was of normal size, but he was making efforts to make it turgid as a proof that it was fully restored.

Ibrahim, who is also a squatter in the house, alleged that it was the first time Sadiq would be visiting him. Though they have been friends for some time now, Ibrahim said he never knew his friend was gay until last
night.

Sadiq, in a confessional statement to local vigilantes at the scene of the incident, said he has been homosexual for the past three years.

He denied snatching his friend’s male organ, but said he had engaged only men in sex since then and further indicted a prophet whose white garment church is within the community as the one who prepared the concoction with which he engages in the act.

However, the prophet, who was invited by the vigilantes, denied the allegation.
He said he had known Sadiq as one who never chased after women and did not know that the man was gay.
Neighbours said that the owner of the one-room apartment where the incident occurred lives and works in Lagos and only visits the place at weekends.

Sadiq was later whisked away by the vigilantes after much plea to stop beating him was rebuffed by the people of the area.

Nigeria is not in support of gay practice no wonder a bill has been approved setting 14-year-jail term for offenders.

INCREDIBLE: Man Born With His Heart In His Abdomen

A man who has lived his entire life with a heart protruding from his abdomen is finally able to walk upright without getting out of breath or turning blue. Huang Rongming, from Henan province in China, underwent life-changing surgery to correct heart a defect and move the organ away from his abdomen and into his ribcage.
He had lived with the rare condition for 24 years until a doctor told him his condition was rapidly deteriorating and that he required urgent surgery.
Congenital heart displacement is incredibly rare and occurs in just five babies out of every million born. Most patients die soon after birth.
Mr Rongming could not afford the procedure that would place his heart in his chest as it should be, but media coverage of his condition enabled him to undergo to life-changing operation.
'It's a dream come true. I'm going to lead a normal life like everyone else,' he told ChinaDaily.
Before surgery, Mr Rongming's heart could clearly be seen pumping underneath a thin layer of skin and bulging out from his upper belly.
When Mr Rongming was born, doctors did not think he would survive, as his protruding heart had defects and was vulnerable to injury. His parents admitted they were anxious when he was a boy and said that he was not allowed to play with other children for fear that he would die.
The condition made the young Mr Rongming vulnerable to breathlessness and turning blue if he stood up as well as sudden death if his heart was knocked.
Earlier this year he sought treatment at Wuhan Union Hospital. His doctor, Dong Nianguo, a cardiac surgeon at the hospital, was astonished that he was still alive. Tests showed Huang's condition was deteriorating rapidly, and he needed immediate surgery, which could cost about 200,000 yuan.
Huang's story attracted considerable media coverage and within six days of his story being reported, he received all the money he needed from kind readers.
The surgery lasted more than 10 hours and was entirely successful. His abdomen is now flat and his heart defect fixed. Mr Rongming said: 'I am now normal, thanks to the many kind souls'.

Commander of the Cross River State Immigration Command,  Mr Samuel Ichoi, who ordered the arrest of the woman told Vanguard in his office that his men accosted the lady while boarding a ship to Cameroon and after interrogation, she confessed that she bought the baby.
Mrs Evelyn Atemkeng, the suspect and the baby.
Mrs Evelyn Atemkeng, the suspect and the baby.
He said: “The lady came from Cameron on Friday without any sign of pregnancy but this morning (Wednesday) she was found to be carrying a baby and when my men examined her there were no signs that she just gave birth, so she and the baby were  apprehended.”
According to Igoche, the lady also claimed that in May last year, she was given some herbs at Okigwe where she “miraculously gave birth to a baby girl who is now in Cameroon.”
However, the lady who said she is a teacher in the North-West region of Cameron told Vanguard that she gave birth to the baby and that N1.2 million she paid into the account of the matron was for delivery and herbs she gave to her to aid delivery.
She said: “She (matron) said my breast would start producing milk in three weeks but for now the baby is taking baby food.”
According to her, she does not have anybody in Cameroon to take care of her, that was why she came to Nigeria to deliver before returning to her country.
“I am married and my husband is in Cameroon but there is nobody to take care of me in Cameroon, that was why I came to Nigeria to deliver,” she said.
The Anti Human Trafficking Officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service at the Calabar Port, Mrs Agbor Ojong Ogar,  said she took time to examine the woman and she does not have any  sign that she just gave birth.
She said: “The woman passed here on Friday, she left on Saturday and returned to Calabar  on Tuesday and was heading back to Cameron with a baby and when we examined her she does not have any sign of  having given birth recently.”

How I Almost Lost My Life ––Actress Ngozi Nwosu Speaks

For Nollywood actress, Ngozi Nwosu, life begins at 50. Having been to what she calls "hell and back", the fair-skinned entertainer may have finally conquered the storm. Bubbling in a celebratory mood, Nwosu was resplendent in a black body fitting dress and blonde weave at an event organised to celebrate her birthday on Wednesday.

Save for a walking stick placed by her side, there was nothing to suggest that the actress recently underwent a surgery. For many years:

She brought laughter to many homes, playing, “Peaceful Peace”, one of the troublesome wives of Chief Fuji in the Amaka Igwe’s soap, Fuji House of Commotion, until she was diagnosed to have a kidney related ailment.

Nevertheless, Ngozi Nwosu said she remained upbeat throughout the ordeal. “I was positive throughout the experience but at a point I thought I would die and not make it to 50. But I have received the grace of God, and He has given me a new lease of life. It is like a second coming to life. God has given me my life, it is a gift I really treasure. And my advice to people is: just live your life, nobody knows tomorrow,” she said.

Unlike some of her colleagues who passed on before financial assistance could arrive, Nwosu has been lucky. Fans, colleagues and the Lagos State Government succeeded in raising the N6m lifeline required to offset her medical expenses in a UK hospital in December. But before respite came, the Imo State-born actress chose to keep mum about the true state of her health, which gave rise to a series of speculations.

Her silence was because she wanted to handle the situation on her own. She explained to Punch, “I felt it was something I could handle on my own. So, it was as if I turned a deaf ear, thinking and praying that it would be over soon; until God said, ‘No, my daughter, I will handle it the best way for you', and here I am today.”

Between February and April, she had been undergoing treatment in the UK. In past interviews, Nwosu, who has been out of the acting scene in the last two years, said she was initially diagnosed of pile (haemorrhoid), and had an operation. She had already resumed working until she discovered that she had developed some issues with her kidneys.

Choosing not to comment on her personal life, thick-skinned Nwosu said she couldn’t be bothered about the speculations at the time.

She, however, declined to give more details on the nature of the ailment and treatment abroad.

“They (critics) said so many crazy things but I don’t want to think about it. I just want to thank God that I am alive today. I also thank the critics because they have contributed to making me strong and alive to prove them wrong. To those who felt this was the end of Ngozi Nwosu, I just want to tell them that this is just the beginning of Ngozi Nwosu.”

She also discarded reports making the round that she had been sighted at various movie locations. She explained: “I have only gone on the set of Fuji House of Commotion because I played a major role there, because they had been waiting for me all along and had run out of episodes. So I just had to be there to play a little of my role. It is just to tell people that I am still alive and I will be back on track.”

While she admitted her readiness to take up new scripts, the key word for now, according to her, is moderation. “I still need to rest, and if I have to work, I’ll do that at my own pace. I’m not going back to work fully. You will see that my gait is not really smooth. For now, I’m using a walking stick and that is going to take some time. I will be taking everything at my own pace, until I get back to the normal Ngozi Nwosu,” she noted.

Sounding a word of advice to her colleagues in the movie industry, Nwosu said, “They should always take time out to do medical checkups. Since the time I got sick, there are many people that have dropped dead. But I am still alive, I went through death and I am still alive.”

On her relationship with fellow actors, she has this to say, “I don’t have friends in the industry. When you are rich they are your friends, but when you are not, they leave you. Most of them are a flash in the pan so I can’t keep them.”

Looking forward to the future with bright expectations, Nwosu is already dreaming big, hoping to regain national prominence. “I wish for myself the best things of life. In fact I just wish someone can come and park the latest car in my house, and build a house for me. I don’t want my case to be like that of the Nigerian flag designer, Taiwo Akinkunmi, who almost died before they recognised him,” she noted.
