Chief Kriz Ijibike A Man Sent From Above To Rescue Ukwuani LG

Politics in Delta state has become a do or die affair, those that have seat or power don't want to leave the office not because of what they intend to do positively for the state but because of their selfish interests.

Over the years, Delta politics has been directly controlled by highly placed individuals in the state without any form of political intimidation or pressure. The resultant effect is that Delta state resources have been politically mismanaged by imposed and conscripted leaders who never sailed through the choice of Deltans but selected cabals of the state.

To cut the long story short, after reviewing the outstanding profile of chief Kriz Ijibike, who is a dynamic socio-political personality, an acute administrator, a matured politician, a lover of truth, Philanthropist, a deligent worker and most importantly a Christian with burning passion to transform lives in homes and communities across Nigeria, we can boldly say Ukwuani LGA and Delta state as a whole has finally found what they need.

With that being said, i would advice the good people of Ukwuani LGA to rejoice  and support him because  he is messiah  sent to take them to the next level.

More to come....

Brothers At War : Meek Mill Blasts Wale On Tweeter, Wale Replies Angrily

It's now a common thing for musicians to beef themselves openly when the need arises but I didn't see this one coming.

There’s news about perceived beef between MMG rappers, Wale and Meek Mill. Meek blasted Wale on tweeter for not supporting him and being a hater. Wale on the other hand responded on Instagram, with a rather sensitive and lengthy piece about how he is a lot of things but a hater is definitely not one of them.

Read Wale's reply below;

"... If I'm tryna spruce an interview up to show that we not tryn be 'serious tough guys' on the red carpet Or try to be a bit more engaging to broaden our audience forgive me," he wrote. "I never wanted anybody to think we take ourselves THAT serious. (Were rappers )I don't need to take anybody shine.. Or hate on anybody . I walk in a completely different world .. Where I look for slp jeans and Shanghai dunks online and know what 'kayfabe' means."

He continued, "I check nbadraft.net daily . I'm on whatculture allll day I enjoy s---t like that. I play f---in Zelda and f---k wit b----es who teach yoga and paint... I get it . I'm different . I always embrace that s---.. I encourage y'all to embrace what y'all like or the person y'all wanna be.. I text n----s happy Father's Day and get no reply .. I laugh it off .. I laugh at how I write songs about 'chain music' and y'all get lost or '600benzz' i like to have fun with our culture. Because I beleive I add THAT to a 'gangster rap' faction. I made my opportunity work for me that way. I write poems . I watch wwe . I collect kicks. I'm sensitive ok. Maybe bi polar. But one thjng I'm not is a hater."

He ended with a shot perhaps directed at Meek's apparent misinterpretation of him, and a quick Seinfeld reference. "I'm me and I'll be me and do this s--- wit my 'dew' till I don't wanna do it. I encourage you to wake up soon as you find time. This was a post about #nothin."

Well, let’s just wait and see how this plays out. Is this a publicity stunt? And how does the owner of MMG, Rick Ross, feel about all this?

Nigerian Army Links Top politician To Boko Haram

Troops who stormed a terrorist camp in Balmo Forest, Bauchi State last week and destroyed it were reportedly said to have found identity cards and other incriminating items of some
top politicians.

The politicians who have been arrested are presently being interrogated over evidence of their ties with the dreaded terror sect, Boko haram. The Coordinator of the National Information Centre, NIC, Mr. Mike Omeri, told newsmen in Abuja, yesterday:

“Following the last successful operation carried out by security forces to dislodge terrorists from their forest bases in Darazo Local Government Area end of Balmo Forest, some politicians are currently being interrogated following the recovery of some sensitive registration cards and other materials of a prominent political party that were found in the possession of some of the suspects arrested.

“Those who are being interrogated are prominent politicians belonging to a frontline political party. Troops even recovered the identity cards of some of the politicians.” Mike Omeri, however, declined to mention
names of the politicians.

Watch Prince TJ Hays Performance At Igos Live 3

If how well one performs in a show is a test of how great of a musician they are, then Prince TJ Hays passed with flying colours.

What took place in 'IGOS LIVE 3' was nothing short of amazing. The crowd was buzzing with excitement when the 'ratata master' stepped on stage with his energic performance that left the crowd begging for more.

Missing Chibok Girls To Be Released Soon: Government, Boko Haram In ‘New Deal’

Some of the abducted girls

We have been hearing all kinds of news about our missing girls but we still don't know how far the federal government has gone in their negotiations.

Anyways, according to new report, the Federal Government is reportedly close to a deal with the dreaded Boko Haram sect on release of the girls who were abducted over three months ago .

Rumors has it that there’s been intense talks with the insurgents, though the name the groups and personalities involved in the talks were not revealed.

According to one of the facilitators, who pleaded anonymity because he is not authorised to talk to the media, all parties are optimistic that something positive will be achieved soon, adding that though the government is yet to make up its mind, a swap of the girls with some detained Boko Haram members is “very strong” on the cards.

In what he termed the ‘new deal’, he said;

"We are inching to a reasonable agreement on the release of the Chibok girls. The mediators are really sincere to end the hostage of the girls. There will be something positive soon. All the parties are hopeful. That was why the Council of State was optimistic about approach to the rescue of the Chibok girls by the government ."

Also confirming the development, a military source said the military hierarchy is aware that some mediators are kind of negotiating with the sect, adding that though the government is flowing with the insurgents, they are being cautious.

The source said, "The government did not reject the offer to have talks with representatives of the insurgents; it is only being careful because no one is sure of the commitment of Boko Haram leadership to the truce."

We pray both parties reaches an agreement ASAP.

NIPC Top Official Mr. Alfred Okeke Commends Delta Economic Reformation

The establishment of the Delta State One-Stop-Shop for Investors (DSOSSI) has been described as a major catalyst in the economic reformation of the state as well as practical revelation and demonstration of the state government’s unwavering business and investment-driven consciousness.

A senior official of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Mr. Alfred Okeke who stated this yesterday during an official visit to DSOSSI office in Asaba, to ascertain the level of preparedness and facilities at the office, remarked that setting up the DSOSSI office was another proof of the state government’s push at wooing Foreign Direct Investors/Investments to the oil-rich state.

Okeke, who is the Head of the South-East and South-South office of the commission, held that given the establishment of the DSOSSI which he described as apt and timely in the face of the present global economic dispensation, further attests that the Delta State Government is ready for business.

According to the NIPC boss, the attention of local and foreign investors would soon be targeted towards the state as they now have a formidable and reliable platform where they could access relevant information on the investment potentials and credibility in the state.

“With what I saw on ground here today, I am reliably convinced that the Delta State Government is indeed ready for business. The Delta State One-Stop-Shop for Investors, no doubt, is a major catalyst in the economic reformation of the state”.

The NIPC boss, who was also conducted round some of the infrastructures in the state, particularly the Asaba International Airport, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Park, and the new Government House complex, among others, by the Economic Adviser to the State Governor, Dr. Afam Obiago, commended the administration of Dr.Emmanuel Uduaghan for what he called ‘the unprecedented infrastructural developments in the state’.

He said, “Whenever an investor is coming to a state or country, the first thing he or she will consider is, ‘are there good hospitals to take care of my health needs, are there good schools for my kids, are there good road network, what is the security situation in the area, and many more”

“In all these, I am convinced that the Delta state Government is indeed on track for good business and no investor who knows his or her onion will again hesitate to come and invest in this state, because, to me, investments thrive more on the basis of evident infrastructural development rather than political intuitions”, Okeke enthused.

Culled from The Pointer.
