A popular hip-hop singer has died on the naming day of her 8-day-old baby boy.
The singer, Feyisayo Mojisola Oyetade, who is a popular singer in Abeokuta died on Tuesday Oct.14th in Sagamu during preparations for her baby’s naming ceremony.
Feyi, popularly known as Faycol, was said to have collapsed suddenly and was rushed to the Sacred Heart Hospital in Lantoro, Abeokuta where she was said to have been “brought-in- dead”.
The singer who got married May this year to her producer, Abayomi Oyetade died the same day her child’s naming ceremony was to hold. There seemed to be a ray of hope when she was however taken to a church for prayers and was reported to have opened her eyes but was in a coma for a while before she finally gave up the ghost.
The deceased singer was the only child of her parents and she was buried at the Sagamu Local government Cemetery.
