BUSTA RHYMES REMINISCES ON BATTLING JAY Z IN HIGH SCHOOL

Busta Rhymes was destined for greatness. During his visit to DJ Skee’s new Fuse show “SKEE TV” on Thursday, the hip-hop icon reminisced about coming up as an MC in high school.

He attended George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School with two fellow legends, the Notorious B.I.G. and Jay Z.

He never knew Biggie was an MC because Busta was never actually in class. “I didn’t know Biggie rhymed in school ’cause in school we was cuttin’ a lot of class and we was smokin’ a lot of weed and bullshittin’,” he admitted.

But he was familiar with Hov’s talent. “I knew Jay Z was rhyming ’cause me and Jay Z battled in school, speed rapping,” he said. “He had finessed the speed rapping phenomenally at that time and I was new with the speed rapping, but losing that battle to Jay in speed rapping is what made me one of the most dangerous speed rappers today.”

Years later, the tables have turned. “Jay know he can’t see me in no speed rapping today,” laughed Busta.

However, if it wasn’t for Jay, Busta wouldn’t have honed in on his speed rapping. “He inspired my desire to want to master it because, under the circumstances of how I took the L, it didn’t rest well with me.”

He sharpened his skills, hoping for a rematch, but that moment never came.

YOUNG THUG APOLOGIZES TO THE GAME

In an Instagram post, which he later deleted, YoungThug apologized for his disparaging comments. “You was a male stripper once before so I don’t want to fight you. I don’t want no germs from you, pussy ni**a,” he told the Compton rapper.

But it appears that he’s singing a new tune. “See the way the world works, they want all blacks to kill each other. But we’re not. Black lives matter, so I salute Game, I respect him, and I’m sorry for making that post about him,” said Young Thug.

“Even though he was wrong and he was in the wrong business, and taking up for a ni**a that wasn’t taking up for himself, it’s all good.”

Game accepted his apology. “I seen Thugger video and shit. I think it take a real ni**a to apologize and dead some shit,” he said on Instagram.

Next, he hopes to settle Thug’s beef with Weezy. “I think the next phase is getting him and Tune shit buried ’cause Tune my ni**a,” said Game.“And then gettin’ Tune and Birdman to settle their shit and gettin’ back to gettin’ their money.”

Making an appearance at L.A.’s Supper Club recently, Amber had some very choice words about her former boyfriend, Kanye West.

Apparently the club’s DJ kept playing Kanye's songs with Amber in attendance and she wasn’t
feeling it. Grabbing the mic, Amber told DJ:

“Stop playing niggas I used to fuck, stop. Why don’t we play the nigga who writes the songs for the other nigga, Travis Scott!”

With Travis in the background, confusion sets in from both the host and Scott (who kept his back turned and paid no attention to the statement). And while there may be “some” truth to Travis writing Kanye’s raps as its a common thing in the industry, something tells me Amber’s looking for attention and just taking another jab at the Kardashian household.
