Davido Signs Danagog To HKN

Davido’s record label, HKN , has officially signed upcoming Singer, Danagog.

The signing, took place on
Wednesday, February 26, 2014 and  according to our sources, he was giving a four years deal.

He also signed a management deal with Twenty20 Media, headed by Davido’s manager, Kamal Ajiboye.

Meanwhile, Davido took to twitter to
congratulate Danagog, saying, ‘Congrats to @DANAGOG_HKN and
@B_RedHKN on ur new signing to the Label and management!!! This year will be great for y’all Amen! HKN!!’

Legal War: Brymo And Chocolate City Representatives Fights in court

The  battle between Chocolate City and Brymo is set to continue as the case has been adjourned to a later date.

At a sitting yesterday at the Federal High Court in Lagos, the presiding judge, Justice Buba I.N was forced to adjourn the hearing after counsels from both parties clashed in the  courtroom.

The session started by 11:14 a.m and ended by 1:00 p.m. Brymo’s legal representative, Nike Olagbede and Chocolate City’s counsel, T.O Lawal clashed after a disagreement which led to the use of derogatory words between the two learned counsels during a court session. Justice Buba then announced that the case will be adjourned to a later date. ‘I will adjourn this case because the counsels have failed to portray themselves according to the stipulations of the court acts and acted in complete disregard to the court regulations,’ Justice Buba said.

The case has now been adjourned to
Tuesday, March 4, 2014 as agreed by both counsels.

We hope both parties would reach an agreement soon.

Iyanya’s manager says Zinox deal is worth N165m

Iyanya’s manager, Ubi Franklin , has finally revealed the actual worth of  the deal they signed with Zinox.

According to what the talent manager told Nigerian Entertainment in a phone interview,  the total Zinox deal is N165m.

‘My deal with Zinox group is N165million to promote different products. Zinox group has a franchise on Lenovo and they brought in the deal with Task Direct, and we were given 5 Lenovo pads to give the winners of the Iyanya dance competition. It was simply to promote Lenovo pads during the Valentine period for lovers to patronize the store. Task Direct is in charge of buying franchise from all tech companies.’

Ubi would also reveal that Iyanya has other deals in the offing, saying, ‘we have two other endorsement deals coming up
this year’.

The beautiful mother of five who led 80 delegates to Aso rock for a courtesy visit to President Jonathan , making him their grand patron of the guild was shocked to hear of her appointment .

According to her "I was shocked to hear of my appointment to that board by Mr. President. I was just doing my thing as the leader of the actors in Nigeria and didn't know that some people are watching. This is unbelievable," The AGN President said.

The President also donated a plot of land for the erection of AGN headquarters in Abuja.

Ibinabo was yesterday sworn in with other board members of the NCAC in Abuja.
