As the country prepare ahead of the March 28 general elections, many Nigerian celebrities are trying their best to ensure that they help propagate the message of peace among their fans during and after the election process.

Nollywood star, Ime Bishop Umoh better known as Okon Calabar, has imagined how his life will be if he one day becomes the president of the country after he was being guarded by some soldiers.

Imeh, who is the youth ambassador for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of Nigeria, was dressed in an agbada, in a bid to pass a message to his teaming fans on what governance is all about.

Though this was not a movie location picture, it seems the picture was taken during a campaign against election violence.

Olamide, is 26 years old today.

The multiple award winning rapper was born on March 15, 1989 and in the last few years of his 26 years of existence, has managed to make a name for himself, rising to the very top of the game as one of the finest rappers in Nigeria and beyond.

President Barack Obama Denies Calling Kanye West's Home Phone

Kanye West reaffirms that President Barack Obama calls his home phone.

When Kanye West gave a lecture at Oxford University on March 2nd, he said his voice gives him access to the most powerful people in the world, including multibillionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and President Barack Obama. Not only can he call the President "out of the blue," but Obama, apparently, "calls the home phone, by the way."

When the president guested on Jimmy Kimmel Live last Thursday night (March 12), Obama seemed to laugh off Kanye's remarks, saying, though he loves Kanye's music, "I don't think I've got his home number."

Yesterday, the paparazzi greeted Kanye at LAX, and though Kanye is resisting anyone's attempts to pit him and the president against each other, he's sticking to his guns. Kanye says, "I love Obama. He called our house before. He knows that."

Has Barack Obama been ringing up the Yeezus estate? Luckily, there's a clear mutual respect between the two--though someone is lying here.

Nelly Performs In Iraq To Raise Money For The War Against ISIS

While we haven't heard any new music from Nelly since 2013, the St. Louis rapper's latest live performance took him where no other rapper--or American artist--has gone before.

Nelly recently traveled to northern Iraq to perform in Erbil, becoming the first American artist to ever perform in the city. The concert was part of an event put on to raise money for the "peshmerga," the Kurdish military force that's been fighting the terrorist group ISIS in northern Iraq.
