Snoop Dogg Wants To Be Twitter's New CEO

Yesterday Twitter's CEO, Dick Costolo, announced that he'd be stepping down from his position at the company. In the interim, Jack Dorsey, the co-founder and chairman, will take the role of CEO, however they are in need of a permanent replacement.

Snoop Dogg quickly announced his desire to be the next Twitter CEO. Dorsey said, when looking for their new CEO, it would have to be someone who "really uses and loves the product in every single way." Do you think Snoop falls under that umbrella?

The rapper has alreay launched his Twitter campaign with the hashtag #SnoopForCEO. He also encouraged the hashtag #IfSnoopWasTwitterCEO, which led to users recounting all the possibilities-- like upping the character limit from 140 to 420, and changing "Favorites" to "Puffs" and "Retweets" to "Passes."

Eminem No Longer Holds The Record For Most Words In One Song

In 2013, Eminem set the record for the most words used in one song, due to his blindingly fast verses on "Rap God". Unfortunately, his 1560-word record has now been bested, and chances are you've never heard of the guy who did it.

Harry Shotta is the man behind "Animal"-- another 6 minute song that features some impressively speedy double time, and set a new record for words-per-song, coming in at 1771 total.

Shotta is well known in the Drum and Bass scene, and is based in the UK. His record is no accident either, as he told UKF about his goal to break the record. "The process is a long-winded one but we know the word count is more than Eminem and hopefully they’ll recognize that," he said of the word count, assuring there are no hard feelings toward Eminem in his intent."This is purely about pushing our art and having some fun."

As far as we know, Guinness has not actually made the record official.

Rapper YG Reportedly Shot 3 Times In L.A.

This all happened outside of a recording studio. YG's condition is not clear, but he was apparently "uncooperative" with police when they showed up to the hospital asking questions. As far as we know there are no suspects in the case.

We'll keep you updated as any more
information becomes available. For now, we're just hoping YG makes a quick recovery.
