President Jonathan said it was not true that he has been lying to Nigerians on the issue of insurgency. Acknowledging that there were challenges in the curtailing the activities of the insurgents, he said his administration is doing its best.
He also denied Fashola’s allegation that he and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were planning to give the electorate kerosene, rice and money to win their support in the 2015 elections.
