UK based rapper Tinnie Tempah’s UK tour is kicking off on 30th of March at the O2 Arena in London.

Meanwhile, the rapper has just confirmed Wizkid  would be a special guest for his tour.

Breaking News: Yeni Kuti’s ex-husband Femi Segun dies from power bike accident


According to NET, Femi Segun , former husband of Yeni Kuti , Afrobeat dancer and daughter of the late great Fela Kuti has passed away.

Segun, a self-described humanist turned politician, sources say, died due to complications from multiple injuries sustained in a road accident while driving his power motor bike in Lagos a week ago. He is said to have died this morning, March 21, 2014 at a Lagos hospital.

Segun’s death was first reported by his Igbobi College Alumnus and long-time friend, broadcaster Bola-Wola Makinde who wrote a short condolence message on his (Makinde) Facebook page. 

The message was accompanied with a picture of his friend dressed in bikers’ gear, standing next to his power bike.
‘Who can question the Lord?…Requiescat in pace,Femi Segun! ‘, Makinde wrote on his timeline.

Four days earlier, Makinde posted a get-well-soon message for his dear friend. ‘The GOOD Lord WILL heal you,my darliing brother Igbobian! ‘, it reads.

A source close to the Kuti family has also confirmed Segun’s death. ‘Yes it’s true, I just reached them and it’s quite sad‘, a source informed us.





UEFA Champions League draw 2014; Trouble For Some Clubs


The quarter-final draw produced a repeat of last year's Borussia Dortmund v Real Madrid CF affair, an all-Spanish tie and a clash of  between the reigning champions and Man UTD.

Australia finds 2 potential bits of missing Malaysian plane wreckage

Two pieces of wreckage that are possibly from the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 – one estimated to be 78ft in size –have been founded to the west of Australia, it was announced yesterday. The debris was spotted on satellite imagery and a total of four aircraft have been sent to investigate the sighting, some 1553 miles off the coast of Perth.

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott announced the potential breakthrough to Parliament in Canberra Thursday, but warned the wreckage may not be from the missing flight.

John Young of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority said at an afternoon press conference that one aircraft was already on scene searching the area, and three others were due to meet it into Thursday evening.

 A merchant ship dispatched in the search operation was also due to arrive around 6p.m. Canberra time.





Police Officer & LASTMA Officials Involved In Huge Fight; One Left Unconscious


A serious fight  between a police officer and 3 LASTMA officials yesterday left one unconscious.

The incident occurred along Ashabi Cole off Lateef Jakande road Agidingbi in Ikeja.

According to a report, Trouble started when LASTMA officials attempted to tow a vehicle parked in front of a bank which was causing traffic.

The police officers guarding the bank challenged the LASTMA officials and tried to prevent them from towing the vehicle which was said to belong to a bank customer. An arguement ensued and before anyone could stop it, one LASTMA official was rushed to the hospital after a police man gave him a head butt and smashed the butt of his gun into his face.

When other LASTMA officials saw what had happened to their colleague, they turned the whole scene into a free for all show as both parties started arguing and fighting.

Head of LASTMA confirmed the incident and said the unconscious official is receiving medical attention.
