Jayz Sued By A Sound Engineer For Copyright Theft

A sound engineer who claims he was a key producer/creator of Roc-A-Fella's entire body of work between 1999 - 2000 wants a declaration from a judge. He's as much the owner of the 6 albums as the label itself.

Chauncey Mahan claims in a new lawsuit, that he was the sound engineer who was one of the first masters of Pro Tools production software and was instrumental in creating the sound for a number of Roc-A-Fella's biggest hits.

Jay Z and Roc Nation filed an extortion police report earlier this year, claiming Chauncey was holding boxes of master recordings hostage demanding
$100,000 for the music. Jay Z set up a sting operation where his people met Chancey at a storage facility in the San Fernando Valley, and unknown to him the LAPD was there and seized the boxes.

Chauncey now wants a judge to say he was so essential to the creation of the music he's a co-owner of the copyright. As such, it would give him the
right to get the masters back. 

It's interesting ... Jay Z and Roc Nation dropped their extortion complaint against Chauncey.

Nigerian Censors Board Plans To Destroy N10 Million Worth Of Porn Movies

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) is making plans to destroy 2 million copies of P0*nographic and unwholesome movies valued at N10million.

This report was announced by Caesar Kagho, the Acting Head, Corporate Affairs of NFVCB. According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the unwholesome movies were seized within FCT and its environs between January and June 2014. 60% of the movies are said to be of P0*nographic content while 40% are uncensored, unwholesome, and pirated.

The NFVCB is working with the Federal Ministry of Environment to get a dump site to burn the seized films.

Davido Shuts Down Stadium In Rwanda, Gets Presidential Welcome

Weeks after grabbing his First BET
international award, Davido flew off to perform in Rwanda at the Amahoro national stadium in Capital Kigali.

Rwanda were celebrating their July 4th annual Liberation Day and they invited the prince of African pop to entertain them. Surprisingly on Davido’s arrival at the Kigali airport he was welcomed by the President of Rwanda, President Paul Kagame with his wife and kids.

The concert was headlined by Davido and the young Aye crooner gave his Rwandan fans a night not to forget.

There where about 9 East African presidents at the show that night; Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete and Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta were among the presidents at the show.

Brazilian Voodoo Priest Ready To Curse German Players

According to Naij, a popular Brazilian voodoo priest, Helio Sillman, from Rio de Janeiro has promised to curse German players when they take on Brazil in the semi-final of the ongoing 2014 FIFA World Cup Holding in the South American country on Tuesday, 8 July, 2014.

Brazil's Selecao will play Joachim Loew's team in the first of the two semi-finals onTueaday, while Argentina will play the Netherlands on Wednesday.

The hosts will be without their injured superstar Neymar in Belo Horizonte, but black magic enthusiast Sillman says his curse will hinder Germany in the semi-final.

"I'll take their top player and bind his legs so he can't run on the pitch," said Sillman, referring to the voodoo doll of an undisclosed German player that will be cursed in a ceremony before the game.

It was gathered that Sillman uses a small football pitch-shaped box as his alter, he puts inside lit candles in the colours of the opposing team and the voodoo doll of their most important player.

Sillman's curse on James Rodriguez did not stop the Colombian star from scoring in his team's 2-1 defeat to Brazil in Friday's quarter- finals. And he was powerless to prevent Selecao star Neymar from suffering a fractured vertebrae against the Colombians that has ruled him out of the World Cup.

But Sillman points to Brazil's results against Cameroon, Chile, Croatia and Mexico as testimony to the influence of his magic.
