Fast and Furious Feud: Vin Diesel Breaks Silence on The Rock and Tyrese Drama

In case you have not been following it: early in September, Tyrese called out The Rock for jumping the Fast and Furious ship for his own spin off show, saying that The Rock is trying to break the family that took him in late in the show.

The Rock did not oblige him with a response and yesterday, Tyrese returned to Instagram to insult the wrestler/actor, calling him a clown and promising to troll him for three years(the next film is slated to drop in April 2020).

The Rock still kept mum no matter the negative press, and yesterday, things got a little thick when Vin Diesel posted a photo of him, the late Paul Walker and Tyrese from earlier installments of the movie franchise. Many people assumed that to be a shade thrown at The Rock, like Vin is excluding The Rock from the Fast and Furious family.

But, Vin has finally spoken up, and though he did not tow the vulgar line Tyrese has become famous for, he made it known that he invited The Rock into the family and that they are facing challenges. However, there is some good news coming, he told fans.

This professional response has calmed some nerves.

Brotherhood... and all it's complexities. This scene was filmed in Puerto Rico, I can remember it like it was yesterday. Such a beautiful island, the people were so warm and welcoming. I turned 43 that summer... and my son Vincent was born. A woman named Jan Kelly responded to a question I had asked on Facebook, 'who they would like to see me work with?' She said would love to see me work with Dwayne... I listened to her request and he became Hobbs. I know there has been a lot of speculation as to why the Fast 9 release date was pushed... but it would be unfair to say it is anyone's fault. As we plot the course to expand the Fast & Furious universe, one must be mindful to take stock of the roads we took to get here. The pillars of authenticity, family and most importantly, our loyal fan’s perspective has been instrumental in procuring success. However, like any vehicle that has run around the globe 8 times, the franchise is in need of maintenance. My good friend and the godfather of Universal, Ron Meyer has granted me the time to do just that. We have some very exciting news to share soon... stay tuned. Yours truly, Dom #FamilyAlways
