Rich Homie Quan's Alleged Speed boat Getaway Is Untrue

Rich Homie Quan's getaway after punching a security guard in Miami isn't as epic as we first thought.

Earlier this week, it was reported
that Rich Homie Quan assaulted a security guard in South Beach, Miami before fleeing the scene James Bond-style on a speedboat. Well, it turns out the second part of that story might not be true.

Indeed, Rich Homie did punch a security guard--at least that's what the security guard, Christian Cajigas, is saying in a forthcoming lawsuit (with pics at his defense). The alleged speedboat getaway, though, is less likely. TMZ now reports that RHQ did, in fact, leave Club for a boat--but a boat he ended up staying, and partying, on for at least an hour.

While we're disappointed Quan's getaway was less cinematic than we thought, at least he made it through the night scot-free. We'll keep you updated as details from Cajigas' lawsuit against Rich Homie continue to emerge.

Bomb explosion rocks Enugu polling unit {Full Detail}

Bomb explosions in one of the designated polling units in Enugu, early on Saturday morning, has thrown residents, including prospective voters, and Independent National Electoral Commission officials, into panic.

The incident occurred at WTC Primary School Polling Unit 1 in New Layout, where voting is billed to take place in the presidential and national assembly polls.

The bombs, believed to be improvised explosives devices, were concealed in a vehicle which was believed to have been parked near the polling center overnight. The bombs were placed in a Honda Accord car with Abuja registration number KUJ 971LB.

The first explosion, which is believed to have gone off prematurely, attracted security agents, who quickly cordoned off the area. Two other unexploded bombs were discovered in the vicinity, and were subsequently defused by the police anti-bomb unit.

Punch correspondent, who rushed to the area, witnessed the controlled explosion of the two bombs by the anti-bomb squad at 8.45am and 9.05am. No casualty was recorded but the incident caused panic among voters and INEC officials who were to participate in the election at the unit.

Punch correspondent observed that voters turned back on hearing of the bombs.

The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Dan Bature, who addressed journalists at the venue, said investigations had commenced. He urged voters to come out and vote, assuring them that their safety was guaranteed.

The police boss said, “Whatever is their motive? We don’t know, whoever is involved we don’t know yet.

“But we can assure you that nobody was injured – everybody is safe and voting will go on.

“I assure all the voters that they are safe.”

President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday arrived at his Otuoke country home in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State amid tight security so as to vote in today’s presidential election.

There was also tight security in neighbouring towns. Military personnel, police operatives and other security agents were seen going round the President’s hometown. Jonathan will be casting his vote at a polling unit near his palatial country home. He usually casts his vote at Ward 13 in Otuoke. Prior to his arrival, two Armoured Personnel Carriers were seen on the Otuoke Road. One was stationed in front of the President’s house. The other was parked in front of Magels Resort, a hotel close to a commercial bank.

Earlier, a helicopter was seen hovering around the town, apparently on security surveillance. Soldiers and policemen were also seen on the main Otuoke Road. The president arrived at about 3pm in company of the Bayelsa State Governor, Mr. Seriake Dickson, and other aides. Before his arrival, an army of women supporters had waited for him in Yenagoa, the state capital. But Jonathan was said to have gone straight to Otuoke from the Port Harcourt International Airport.

More details on the election coming up soon so stay tuned.
