Kanye West Set To Receive "Visionary Award" At The BET Honors 2015

On February 23rd, BET will be airing their annual BET Honors award ceremony, and they've just
announced that Kanye West will be receiving the coveted "Visionary Award."

Usher, Phylicia Rashad, John W. Thompson, and Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole will also be receiving the award, all of whom have "made a difference in business, theater, art, music, and technology."

On BET's site, they write: "Kanye West will be honored for his extraordinary contributions across the arts, including roles as a record producer, rapper, filmmaker and fashion designer. He’s a multifaceted trailblazer and pioneer whose accomplishments are all marked by his unique and forward-thinking approach."

On the waynto the restroom, a female was following me and instead of going to the female toilet, she went into the male toilet with me! When she came closer to me, she started dragging my trousers, so I just ran out of the toilet. It was so embarrassing, to say the least, but thanks goodness, I overcame the temptation,” he narrated.

Davido tweeted about Nigeria’s Tayo being cheated out of the number 1 spot at the BBA Hotshots 2014, saying “And they cheat again” on twitter immediately after the event.

We all knows the competition was won by Tanzania’s Idris Sultan and Davido  lost out in all the five award categories he was nominated for at the Channel O awards which held recently in SA.

Coincidentally, the organisers of the Channel O awards are the same as the BBA Hotshots too so I understand Davido's reaction perfectly.

Wizkid invokes the money rain at Hennessy Artistry finale

On Saturday, December 6, 2014, Wizkid scattered the stage at the 2014 Hennessy Artistry’s grand finale which held at the Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

While performing on stage, the star was handed stacks of Naira in N500 denomination by his crew members which he threw into the crowd, causing a stampede as fans,photographers and even cameramen close to the stage scrambled for the money without inhibitions.

Meanwhile this is not the first time Wizzy is throwing this kind of stunt at a gig; he also did the same at the 2013 Felabration where he threw N100K in N500 notes into the crowd and repeated same at this year’s edition also.
