Vogue Magazine describes Wizkid as Nigeria’s Best-Dressed Pop Star

24 hours ago, Davido covered the latest edition of US Magazine ‘The Fader’. Now, Wizkid has just been described as Nigeria’s best dressed pop star by renowned international fashion magazine, Vogue.

In an interview with the magazine, Wizkid describes his fashion style in Lagos saying, ‘Lagos style is fresh and different. Even with the tailors, they get very innovative with their stuff, with the cuts. When my parents used to make the traditional wears, it was a little bit baggy. But now the tailors are able to infuse the European style, making it slim-fit. Lagos style is different, man. Innovative’.

50 Cent Called Back To Bankruptcy Court Because Of Instagram Posts

50 Cent, who infamously declared bankruptcy in a potential bid to avoid paying damages to Rick Ross’ baby mother for a stolen sex tape (amongother debts), may be in additional legal trouble. Bringing all the recent stories about 50 Cent’s Instagram memes full circle, a judge is bringing him back to court because of a few Instagram posts he made over the last few months.

Judge Ann Nevins expressed concern that 50 Cent was not being fully transparent about his funds, and pointed to Instagram posts by the Queens rapper showing stacks upon stacks of cash. “There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.” Basically, Fifty might be taking advantage of what can be a very difficult process for people who are actually broke and in debt.

Naturally, the person who brought these photos to the attention of the judge is Lastonia Leviston, the winner of $7 million in damages from 50 Cent for a stolen sex tape. Curtis Jackson’s bankruptcy filing has prevented her from seeing any of that money thus far.

50 Cent’s lawyers have defended their client’s posts by arguing they are all a part of his profession in the entertainment industry, and the stacks of money are only for image-related purposes. We’ll have to wait until 50 Cent’s new hearing to find out how this all shakes out. The date for that bankruptcy hearing hasn’t been set.

Tyga Reportedly Being Evicted By Another Landlord

It looks like Tyga isn’t a big fan of paying for a roof over his head. Last year, it was reported that the former YMCMB rapper was kicked out of his Calabasas home for unpaid rent, which he says is completely false, but now more reports are saying the same thing about his other home in the Hollywood Hills.

According to documents obtained by Page Six, Tyga’s current landlord has filed papers listing Michael Ray Stevenson, Tyga’s government name, as the defendant who he’s trying to evict. Apparently Tyga hasn’t paid rent for the three months while living at the $4.8 million Hollywood Hills home, which is $17,000 per month equaling a grand total of $51,000 he owes his landlord.

Tyga has yet to make any sort of comment about this latest eviction story, but we can bet it’s coming.

Kanye West Reacts To Kylie Jenner Signing With PUMA

Kanye West has made no effort to cover up his hatred toward Nike, the company he left in favor of adidas, but many were surprised when we called out another major clothing brand, PUMA, for trying to "divide the family" with its efforts to court a deal with Kylie Jenner. He went as far as to say, "1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That's on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!"

Well, it now seems as though Yeezy was misguided in his calculations, as PUMA has officially confirmed its partnership with the youngest Jenner sister. "I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that PUMA is indeed working with Kylie Jenner," said Adam Petrick, PUMA's Global Director of Brand and Marketing, in an official statement, reportsComplex.

"Kylie will be featured in the brand's Spring/Summer women's training campaign launching in April 2016," continued Petrick. "Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion, and we couldn't think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for PUMA."

Earlier today, a TMZ reporter caught up with Kanye at LAX, and by then, he was already aware of his ill-fated PUMA tweets. When asked if Kylie had gone behind his back to sneak a deal with PUMA, a rival of adidas, Kanye replied, "She had already signed, and I was mad for a bit."

Thus, it seems the deal was already in place when Kanye had sent out the tweets claiming Kylie for team Yeezy, and it's probably wasn't a pretty sight when Kanye found out about the deal. He's now over it, however, as he went on to tell the reporter, "I'm really happy for her though."

The Game Explains Lloyd Banks Photo, Says He Talks To Young Buck Regularly

The Game and Lloyd Banks took a photo together in Dubai last night, and 50 Cent has already shared and deleted some thoughts about it. Game did manage to catch 50's response, which brought up the murder of G-unitaffiliate, Lowell "Lodi Mack" Fletcher, and has since shared his own thoughts on the subject, and gone into detail about his encounter with Banks.

"In response to "50"....... When I heard banks was in Dubai, I told my niggas, "we're goin thru to holla," he revealed. "It's been 11 years since I seen banks & the funny thing is, I told myself.. When I got there I was going to go off his energy... & when we seen each other, it was instantly all good energy, so we chopped it.. threw back a few dranks & took a flick for old times sake to kill the negativity & tension that had once tore one of the GREATEST RAP GROUPS ever apart !!! At some point, you gotta be a MAN about certain situations so last night that's what I decided to do.. It was MY DECISION !!!

He later revealed that he still speaks to Young Buck, and spoke about the lives lost "on both sides," ultimately suggesting he and 50 take the "grown man" approach and make amends.

"Whether Buck, gone admit it or not... I talk to that nigga all the time," he wrote. "As recent as few months ago when I was in Nashville & it was all love.... Don't front now my nigga... This is ME !!! As for me & you "50"... Our past has proven we could both get on some gangsta shit if need be, being that lives have been lost on both sides..... Lives have been taken from friends, & fathers taken from kids.. Which could've easily been MY LIFE or YOURS..... If you choose to ignore the GROWN MAN approach & continue to harbor HATE for me & my side... That's your decision. I can't speak for Banks, but my pride was swallowed last night along with a shot of Hennesey in that club...... Whatever it's gone be is what it's gone be, I said my peace"

Linda Ikeji apologises over ‘Fake’ Hermes bag controversy

Earlier this week, Nigerian popular blogger Linda Ikeji defended herself over claims that she bought fake Hermes Birkin bags after being accused on an Instagram post of the bags, saying the designer bags were bought for about N4.8m.

Many saw Linda Ikeji’s effort to prove the authenticity of her bags as tasteless and insensitive, causing her to trend extensively on social media over the issue.

The blogger has released a statement via her Instagram apologizing to her fans for her behaviour over the issue: ‘Let me apologize to the true Linda Ikeji fans who may have been disappointed by my rant the other day! I reacted because I thought it was really a confirmation from Hermes.

‘But I later found out that Hermes would never confirm the authenticity of a bag over Instagram DM (Direct Message). If they’re wrong, the owner of the bag could sue so usually they ask you to bring the bag into one of their stores and if they find it to be a counterfeit, they could seize it. So that DM was a fluke.

‘But anyway, enough about the bag. It’s so petty! Can’t believe how much we argued over it and how crazy I went over it! But the whole drama has made me realise that the amount I spent on 2 bags could have changed a few lives if I’d invested it in them. But I’m bag obsessed, what can I say?

‘May God bless you so much that the least of your worries will be a bag! Anyway, I’ve decided to double the amount of money I’ll give out this year to aspiring female entrepreneurs. Been feeling a little guilty. I want to redeem myself.

‘I’ve told my people to find a venue as soon as possible and have y’all meet me soon. Success is sweet, I tell you! When you don’t have to depend on daddy, husband, bf, Aristo for anything you want, nothing beats that!

How Davido’s billionaire dad got him arrested in 2011

Nigerian pop star, Davido has revealed how his billionaire dad, Adedeji Adeleke got him arrested in 2011.

Davido, who has just covered the March edition of Fader Magazine, opened to the American publication that following his decision to drop out of school, he went missing in action for several months after he had broken his sim card.

He however returned to Nigeria in 2011 with his father having him arrested immediately at the airport.

Here is an except from what Fader Magazine’s wrote…

‘His grades slipped, and after three semesters, he dropped out and left town without telling his father. First he went to Atlanta, where he used his older brother’s ID to get into clubs, and funneled the money Chief Adeleke sent for school and living expenses toward drinks and motels. Later, he threw out his SIM card and hopped on a plane to London, where he went MIA for several months as he shifted his focus from production to vocals. “There was no Snapchat, no Instagram. There was barely Twitter,” he says. “I just went off the radar.”

Chief Adeleke, meanwhile, had been on the hunt for his son. When Davido finally returned to Lagos in 2011, with new tattoos and piercings, his father had him apprehended by police officers at the airport. Having failed to bring home the business management degree he’d been sent to America to complete, Davido reached a compromise with his father: he, still a teenager, would attend a private university two hours north of the city. His music dreams would be sidelined until he had honored his family by graduating. Davido returned to school, but often snuck out of his dorm room to hobnob at industry parties and blew off exams to record.’
