Nnamdi Kanu reveals what will happen if he is rearrested

Judge gets 8yrs in prison for driving confiscated Porsche belonging to Brazil's former richest man
Judge Flavio Souza, who was presiding over criminal proceedings against former billionaire Eike Batista, was removed from office in 2015 after he was caught driving Batista’s Porsche Cayenne in Rio.
The judge also kept another luxury car confiscated from Batista in his garage, as well as a piano and several Rolex watches.
They were seized by a court from Batista, once Brazil’s richest man, because of his high debts, the O Globo news portal reported.
In 2012, Batista had a net worth of 30 billion dollars, making him the seventh wealthiest person in the world, according to Forbes magazine. His wealth plummeted due to strategic mistakes, a drop in oil prices, falling stock prices and criminal proceedings following corruption allegations. (dpa/NAN)
Five years after his death, Rashidi Yekini’s daughter Rashidat graduates from British university
His elder daughter Rashidat recently graduated with honours from DeMonfront University in the UK.
Before his death on May 4 2012, Yekini was one of Nigeria’s most iconic sports figures; scoring 37 goals for the Super Eagles- including Nigeria’s first world cup goal at USA 94.
His sudden death came after a series of unclear illnesses and his daughters, Rashidat and Omoyeni once requested for an official inquest into his death.

35-year-old Wayne Esmonde wanted on an assault warrant, replied to a Facebook post by the South Wales Police Department this week, seeking information on his whereabouts.Esmonde wrote.
“I am him. Not a very flattering mugshot,” “I’d appreciate it if you’d take this post down. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.”
He said he would consult with his attorney and subsequently surrendered on the charge, the BBC reported. Following his surrender,the police department obliged and removed the photo from Facebook. However, the media attention generated by the unusual arrest brought far more exposure than the original post.

The daily sit-out protest embarked upon by a coalition of Civil Society Organisations, CSOs, led by Charly Boy and Deji Adeyanju, one of the conveners and others, on Monday and which continued on Tuesday at the Abuja House in London and at the Millennium park, opposite the Unity Fountain, Maitama, Abuja in Nigeria, turned sour when the anti-riot policemen began firing tear gas canisters and high velocity stream of water to disperse them.
The protesters under the aegis of Concerned Nigerians and “Our Mumu Don Do” Advocacy, who marched from Unity Fountain near the Transcorp Hilton Hotel to the gate of Presidential Villa, where they made their demands. They lamented that for over 90 days President Buhari left and lived outside the country leaving room for persons they referred to as unelected individuals to manipulate the institutions of state.
They also accused his aides and associates of stage managing Buhari’s health status and failing to open up to Nigerians to the true situation with the president.

Thief arrested after falling alseep at crime scene
The victim managed to get free around 4 a.m. before calling the police from a neighbour’s apartment while the gun-wielding suspect was still asleep. It was reported that Sedekiya surrendered without incident when the police came to take him away.
It was reported that Sedekiya was held in custody on Sunday on an aggravated robbery charge, with bond set at $60,000.

In an interview with Punch, Eniola Badmus, revealed she was only diagnosed with a minor case of diarrhea which he treated him with.
‘Who told you there is anything wrong with me, are you sure that’s what you saw? ‘Please go back and confirm what you actually saw. I didn’t put any such picture on my social media pages.
‘I am okay and there is nothing wrong with me. I was only diagnosed with minor diarrhea and I am perfectly well now. ‘There is no cause for alarm. I have been attending events and going on movie sets,’ she said.
D’banj finally opens up on his secret wedding

N255m bullet-proof BMW doesn't belong to me- Stella Oduah
Former Minister of Aviation, Senator Stella Oduah, has said she is unaware of any probe by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,over a N225 million bullet-proof BMW allegedly purchased by her when she was a minister.
Oduah told the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja, yesterday, that there was no basis upon which she could be probed, saying the vehicle did not belong to her.
She said: “To start with, I do not know where any letter on the probe is because nobody has invited me, and as far as I know, there is nothing and there cannot be anything on invitation for purchase of a BMW. “I did not buy a BMW; I have never bought a BMW. The BMW is a property of the government, and it is still in government care. The car is with the agency that bought it. “The agency is still using it, and so, why will the car, which belongs to government and in the care of government and being used by government, be an issue for me?”
Serial rapist defiles 5-yr-old girl, arrested
Preliminary investigation, as gathered, revealed that the victim was the sixth minor to be raped by the suspect, identified as Emeka.
Emeka, reportedly, usually lured his victims, whose ages are between five and six years, with sweets and biscuits into bathrooms and toilets, where he rapes them.
He met his Waterloo weekend, after a tenant caught him in the act with the five-year-old and raised the alarm. A resident, Tolani Bakare, told Vanguard that “ Emeka gave the girl biscuit, took her into the toilet and raped her.
“The girl was heard crying. Her elder sister, who was looking for her, heard her voice and started calling her name. At that point, Emeka rushed out of the toilet and bolted. The victim told her sister that Emeka had been doing it to her for some time.
“That was not the first time he has done such an act. He has done it to five other children between ages five and six, but he would end up begging their parents to forgive him.”
The victim’s mother reported the incident to policemen at Ilasamaja Division, consequent upon which a manhunt was launched for Emeka. Vanguard gathered that he was arrested at about 10p.m. from his hideout around the area. Police sources alleged that attempts by Emeka’s family members to bribe the Police were rebuffed by the Divisional Police Officer, Superintend Oriyomi Oluwasanmi.
Medical report, according to Police sources, revealed that the victim’s hymen had been broken and that there was penetration. Sources further stated that the suspect had been transferred to the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja
