‘My Wife is Jealous Because I Love Kane’ – Mauricio Pochettino

Harry Kane has got everyone waxing lyrical after his Champions League heroics including Tottenham manager Harry Kane Mauricio Pochettino, who said his wife is now jealous because he loves the striker.

Kane struck a perfect hat-trick to fire Spurs to a 3-0 Champions League victory over APOEL on Tuesday and keep them on course for qualification for the Last 16 alongside Real Madrid who ran out 3-1 winners over Borussia Dortmund.

The England international brought his tally to nine goals this season and Pochettino, who compared him to Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi after saying he ‘loved’ him at the weekend, believes there’s no better striker out there, Goal writes.

“For me Harry is one of the best strikers. Cristiano is different. Not a striker, like Messi, a different type of player,” Pochettino said.

“It doesn’t change my perception of Harry Kane because he scored three goals. For me he’s one of the best as I told you.
