EDO FESTIVAL UK 2014 SET TO ROCK LONDON


Once again London will be set aglow as Edo sons and daughters will gather under one exquisite roof in Weabic Centre, London to have a good time, celebrate, recognise and award outstanding personalities of the Heart Beat of the giant of Africa, Nigeria. Edo Festival and Awards in the Uk is an event created to bring Edo sons and daughters in the diaspora together to celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Edo State while recognising inspirational Edo individuals for their contribution to the Edo community and the society at large.  

Awards recipients for the 2013 edition of the event included Governor Adams Oshiomohle; his Deputy, Pius Odubu; Chief (Dr.) Sir Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, Esama of Benin Kingdom; Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, Chief of Staff to the Edo State Governor; High Chief Raymond Alegho Dokpesi, Chairman, Daaar Communications (RayPower and AIT); Ambassador Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen (Film maker/Producer/Director) and Senator Daisy Danjuma.

The event will be hosted by award winning comedian, T.V host, Music Executive, UN Ambassador for Peace, writer and model, Owen Gee.

Activities on the day include cultural dance troupe, fashion show, artist and comedy performance, award presentation and music by Edo Heartbeat, De Melody Makers Band, Sweet Boyz and many more surprise artists. The DJs on ground will include DJ Fred, DJ Chop Life and DJ Osajat.
