RICK ROSS SHARES PHOTOS OF MEEK MILL IN JAIL

Meek Mill is holding up very well behind bars.The MMG rapper who was sentenced to three to six months in jail in July for violating his probation following a 2009 drug and guns conviction, is nearing his release date. 

His MMG boss Rick Ross shared a couple new photos of the incarcerated rapper on social media.

In one shot, Meek poses in gray sweatpants and a sweatshirt with a
smile on his face. He also sits in the prison yard surrounded by friends and family. “Meek in da building all OG’s roun’m,” said Rozay.

Meek was reportedly denied an early
release, but Rozay said he’ll be home soon. “Meek almost at the Door #FreeMeekMill Dreams Worth More than $$$$,” he tweeted. His sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money was delayed from its September date. “His album is coming,” Ross assured his fans. “We ask that the fans and the media continue to support him and his music during this time. He’ll be home soon. ‘Dreams Are Worth More Than Money,’ and family is worth more than Everything. MMG FOR LIFE.”

His peers including Drake, DJ Khaled, Sean Garrett, and Stalley have also joined the “Free Meek” campaign.

I’m Quitting Music for Politics because I can’t be singing at 35 -9ice Opens Up

Few weeks ago, we announced that 9ice is now a politician (click here if you missed it). However,most of us didn’t know he was actually quitting music for good.. 

He told the Sun; 'Yes, I want to leave music for politics. Next year January, I will be 35-years-old and I’m not praying to still be in music at that age. I am serious about politics now. If you listen to my music, you would notice that politics has been part of me; it’s in my blood.

When I started initially, I talked about being your brother’s keeper, and that’s why I studied Law at Lagos State University before I dropped out to concentrate on my music career. I hate when things go wrong. When two or three people are having issues, I love to get there to settle their differences. I have passion for politics and it has always been in my blood.'

On his fans missing him

I will say they will love me more by the time they see the plans that I have for them. I have so many plans on my mind. Imagine if the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was a politician, he will not just criticize the mistakes of our leaders but also correct them. Imagine if Wole Soyinka was to be the president of this nation, people like him are only preaching the truth and criticising the government but they are not ready to get into politics to make corrections. I am tired of preaching, I want to contribute my own quota for the sake of my people. 

We have graduates riding commercial motorcycles (okada), selling meat etc, their certificates are not being used but they are shouting that the government is not doing well. There can’t be any change if the youths don’t stand-up now to do something to help the country.

The tour has just about wrapped — the last date is actually on Wayne’s birthday, in Texas — and they’re set to make a ton of money from it. 2015: Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo joins politics, declares for House of Reps

Ahead of the 2015 general elections, veteran Nollywood Actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has joined the league of other entertainers currently eyeing various political offices.

The star Actor is seeking to represent Nsukka/ Igboeze South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He made his intention known during  a media parley on Wednesday.

Okonkwo is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State and also Masters degree holder in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, Akoka.

The Nollywood pioneer rose to stardom as an actor in 1991 when he featured in the movie, Living in Bondage.

Kenneth, with his declaration, has joined other entertainers who had earlier declared to run for different offices in their respective states. They include; Kate Henshaw, Kenny Saint Best, 9ice,Tony Tetula, Julius Agwu, and Bob Manuel.

KANYE WEST AND KIM KARDASHIAN BOOED AT PARIS FASHION WEEK

Kim and Kanye’s Fashion Week fiascos continue. The superstar couple was met with boos at the Lanvin show in Paris on Thursday.
