According to Modern Ghana, the actress and producer was recently contacted by a fan desperately in need of help with his education at the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun state, and Jegede responded warmly.
Apparently, the needy student is set to take his semester examinations, and in a show of compassion, Jegede requested for his details, including bank details.
This is the first time the actress would reportedly be giving back to her large fanbase, a social responsibility the likes of Toke Makinwa, Davido and Don Jazzy have long been championing.
On the international level, Rihanna is championing the global fund raising for young students which Malawi is currently benefiting from; Beyonce recently sent four students to colleges, while Nicki Minaj set up a charity which she has used to send fans to school, pay for their welfare and school materials, and even pay off their loans.
Now, dear Yvonne Jegede is also giving back, at a time when the likes of Eniola Badmus are mocking fans in need of help, and we are super happy for this lucky fan!
