The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa, has accused members of the State House of Assembly of demanding a N2billion bribe from former Adamawa governor, Murtala Nyako to quash impeachment proceedings against him, Premium Times reports.
The chairman of the APC in the state, Binta Garba, made the allegations at a press conference in Yola, the state capital.
He said the lawmakers received
N350 million form the governor but still went ahead to impeach him, an allegation that was denied by the State House of Assembly.

The former governor was impeached by the State House of Assembly over allegation of gross misconduct and financial misappropriation.
