Sex robot molested at electronics festival, creators say

I have seen lots of crazy things on the internet, hence, i am not surprised to share this one with you guys.

The man behind an “intelligent” sex robot named “Samantha” says the kinky creation needs to be repaired thanks to “barbarians” at a tech industry festival.

Engineer Sergi Santos, of Barcelona, Spain, wanted to show off Samantha at the Arts Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria, last week.

The randy robot is programmed with artificial intelligence so that she responds to gentle seduction. Samantha seemingly gets more aroused the more she’s “romanced.

That didn’t happen at the festival. Instead, “Samantha” was molested and seriously damaged by attendees.

“The people mounted Samantha’s breasts, her legs and arms. Two fingers were broken. She was heavily soiled,” he said, according to Britain’s Metro news site. ”People can be bad. Because they did not understand the technology and did not have to pay for it, they treated the doll like barbarians.”

Even though Samantha’s breasts and some other body parts were badly damaged by the sex-crazed Austrian horde, the AI software in the robot still worked perfectly. When Santos asked the doll, “How are you?” it responded, “Hi, I’m fine,” according to Daily Star.

That gave the inventor cause for hope. “Samantha can endure a lot, she will pull through,” he said, according to the British tabloid.

Arran Lee Squire, a British engineer who helped Santos develop “Samantha,” told the Daily Post he believes the robot should be treated like a lady.

“I think people have just become over-excited and treated her like a sex doll. She isn’t a sex doll, she is a robot with AI,” he said.

Santos shipped Samantha in a box back to Barcelona for repairs. The Daily Star reports he has sold 15 versions of her at about $4,000 a pop.

Photo: Jubilation as police kill most-wanted Imo robber

There was jubilation at the Imo State Police Command headquarters in Owerri when the remains of the state’s ‘most-wanted’ armed robber, Ihechi Nwankwo, were brought from Umuahia, the Abia State capital.

The spokesman for the Imo State Police Command, Andrew Enwerem, told Southern City News that the 27-year-old armed robber, who hailed from Amaumara in the Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of the state, had been on the wanted list of the command for a long time.

According to Enwerem, Nwankwo had been involved in a series of criminal operations, including robbing a bank customer of N8m at Access Bank at Ahiara Junction on August 8.

The slain suspect was also said to have robbed one Jovita Enwerem of N650,000 at gunpoint at Ahiara Junction on June 21.

A police source, who did not want to be named, told our correspondent that Nwankwo met his waterloo after he masterminded a robbery attack on a Chinese expatriate in Owerri in May.

The expatriate was said to have been dispossessed of his N10m, while his police guard was killed in the criminal operation.

Enwerem said, “On September 28, the state police command control room was alerted to a robbery attack along Wetheral Road, Owerri.

“A customer of the Wetheral Road branch of Zenith Bank had gone to the bank to withdraw N50m. On their way, along Wetheral Road, they were confronted by a daredevil armed robbery gang operating with a grey colour Toyota Corolla with number plate ABJ 951AA that blocked the convoy and immediately opened fire on the police escorts.”

The police spokesman stated that the robbers engaged the cops in a gun duel but they were overpowered by the police.

He said three policemen, however, sustained gunshot injuries and were already being treated in the hospital.

Enwerem said, “The criminals escaped from the robbery scene but their vehicle was riddled with bullets. We, however, contacted police in the neighbouring states to be on the lookout.

“Subsequently, the criminals were intercepted in Umuahia, Abia State, where they engaged the operatives in a gun duel. One of the gang members was gunned down while the others escaped with bullet injuries and the ash coloured Toyota Corolla car was also recovered.”

Enwerem said investigation by the command’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad operatives revealed that the elder brother of the slain robber, one Chibuike Nwankwo, 42, and Chukwudi Obinwanne, a native of Ugiri in Isiala Mbano LGA of the state, were being held at SARS cell for bank robbery cases.

The two suspects in the police custody, however, denied the allegation when our correspondent sought to know their level of involvement in the crimes.

Kidnap model Chloe Ayling breaks down in tears after cops caught her lying

Model Chloe Ayling broke down in tears when cops caught her lying about her alleged kidnapper, a police dossier reveals.

The Brit, 20, was quizzed at length over claims she was drugged, put in a suitcase and bundled into a car.Polish brothers Lukasz, 30, and Michal Herba, 36, are in custody accused of kidnap.

At one point in three separate interviews over nearly 13 hours, Chloe was asked about the tracksuit and shoes she was wearing. She said she was given them before leaving the house where she was allegedly held near Turin.

But the documents say she burst into tears when told a shopkeeper confirmed she was with Lukasz when they were bought. She told police:

“It is true. I went with him to buy the shoes.’’

One officer asked: “So why did you lie to us?’’

Chloe, of Coulsdon, South London, again broke down before saying: “I don’t have a reasonable explanation.’’

Another cop asked in the interviews on July 17:
“Don’t you think it seems strange that you went to buy shoes with the person who kidnapped you?’’

Chloe replied:
“He was the person who could save me and who could help me regain my freedom. That’s the reason I didn’t fight and I didn’t ask for help from the woman in the shop.’’

In a statement Chloe said five people were involved in her kidnap but she had seen only two faces — thought to be the Herba brothers.

Westminster magistrates’ court ordered the extradition of Michal from Britain to Italy last Friday. His legal team have lodged an appeal, calling the kidnap a publicity stunt and a sham.

But Italian cops say they have more than enough evidence against both brothers.

Germany’s first gay couple kiss publicly

Two German men have made history by saying “I do” and becoming the first gay couple to marry after decades of struggle. And they sealed their marital vows with a passionate kiss, publicly.

Bodo Mende, 60, and partner Karl Kreile, 59, exchanged their vows infront of photographers and TV crews from around the world who packed the south Berlin registry office alongside their friends and family.

“I’m unbelievably satisfied, this is extremely symbolic to be recognised as a completely normal couple and no longer to have a second-class marriage,” Kreile said after the two cut a slice of rainbow cake.

Mende and Kreile, longtime gay marriage campaigners who have been together since 1979, wanted to tie the knot as soon as possible — after being among the first to enter a civil partnership back in 2002.

“This is a day we can really call historic,” Angelika Schoettler, mayor of the capital’s Tempelhof-Schoeneberg district, told the pair.
“I hope a great many couples will seal a bond for life in this room, or others like it.”

The dash to exchange vows comes three months after lawmakers voted to give Germany’s roughly 94,000 same-sex couples the right to marry, following a shift in position by Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Germany becomes the 15th European nation to legalise gay marriage.

Hoodlum rapes NYSC member in C’River

The Cross River State Police Command on Sunday confirmed the arrest of one Michael Edet who raped a serving corps member (name withheld) after breaking into her residence in Ekpri-Obutong in the Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State.

Southern City News learnt that the incident happened on Friday at about 11pm at Block A6, Obutong Estate in Ekpri-Obutong when the residents were fast asleep.

One of the victim’s neighbours, who craved anonymity, said the suspect broke into the house of the corps member at about 11pm on Friday and allegedly raped her before carting away her valuables, including phones and cash.

She said,

“As you can see, these houses don’t have burglar-proof bars. It is just the glass and anyone can enter at any time. We live in a very dangerous environment and we have been facing serious security challenges in this estate.
“This is not the first time they are raping women in this place. It is quite unfortunate that this time, it is a visitor (corps member) that was the victim.
“We learnt that she had been moved to Calabar because as we speak, she is still in shock. But we are also happy that the police did a good job by apprehending the culprit. We believe that justice will be served.”

Also, another corps member, who did not want his name mentioned, told Southern City News that his colleague recognised the suspect because he stayed for close to 30 minutes in her house.

“She told us that she recognised the suspect’s voice and the shoes he wore, but she is still in shock about what happened to her. She was glad he has been arrested,” he said.

A police source said the suspect went into hiding after recognising that he had been recognised, adding that he was eventually apprehended at Akpabuyo.

The police said the suspect was a popular petroleum dealer in the area with a wife who recently put to bed.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Irene Ugbo, confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect had been arrested and was already in the police custody.

She said,
“It is true. We have arrested the suspect and he has been identified by his victim as the person who broke into his house that fateful night.”

Also, the PRO in charge of the state NYSC, Abdullahi Yuguda, said,
“We applaud the role played by security agencies in Bakassi, which led to the arrest of the culprit. The NYSC will not relent until justice is done.”

Conte set to Quit Chelsea; Eyes Serie A Return

                   Conte
Antonio Conte appears to have dropped the bomb at Stamford Bridge, telling close pals he’s set to leave Chelsea at the end of the season and switching to a club in the Serie A.

British media is reporting that the Italian is not only unhappy with the level of support afforded at the club during the summer, he’s also grown frustrated over limited access to club owner Roman Abramovich and senior executive Marina Granovskaia.

It is understood that Conte, who began his career as Chelsea boss with a sensational first-season Premier League title win, would have handed his resignation in the summer but for a severe financial penalty clause in his contract.

Chelsea

Sun reports that the Italian is riled by the club’s handling of renegade striker Diego Costa’s sale back to Atletico Madrid which made him vulnerable to criticism, in addition to failure to land crucial targets in the summer.

And the Blues lost their crucial title clash at home to Manchester City 1-0 Saturday night after Kevin de Bruyne’s magnificent winning goal, highlighting the gulf in class between the champions and this season’s pacesetters.

The manager made no secret of his desires in a recent interview on Italian broadcaster Radio 1: “I miss Italy, that’s beyond doubt, so once I have had some important and life-changing experiences, I will be back.”

Conte has been long-time target of Serie A giants Inter Milan and will return with his brother Gianluca, currently his assistant manager at Stamford Bridge, in the event of a switch next summer.

‘I Don’t Give a F*ck!’- Cardi B Brags About Stealing Other Rappers’ Flows

cardi b beats nicki minaj
Cardi B is listening a whole damn lot to trolls and replying them, but concerned fans are asking: for how long before she missteps?

Recall that her song Bodak Yellow moved to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, which made her the first female artiste to lead the chart since Lauryn Hill’s Doo Woop (That thing) in 1998. Hours after she broke the record, rapper Azealia Banks went on Twitter to call Cardi a ‘poor mans Nicki Minaj’, and later, accused the younger female artiste of sleeping with men for rap verses. And Cardi did clap back at Banks for that nasty comment.

Now, some folks are saying Cardi wouldn’t have gotten where she is today if she didn’t bite off Kodak Black’s song, No Flockin.

For a long time, Cardi ignored those jabs, but yesterday she took the bait during her concert to unleash anger on her critics. “And for anybody that telling me…’oh bitch you copied Kodak flow, you copied this and that flow’… So what bitch? So what?” She snapped yesterday.

Continuing, she said, “I’ma sound like all your favorite rappers. I’ma take all they flows and I’ma body it bitch. One day I’ma sound like Kodak, the next day I’m a sound like Meek Mill, the next day I’ma sound like Migos. I don’t give a fuck.”

For Kodak Black, he has no problem with Cardi. “You know why I fuck with Cardi B? Because they be thinkin’ both of us crazy and shit,” Kodak says of Cardi’s remix.

Well, watch the video of Cardi bragging about taking other people’s flows:

Lil Wayne Skips Out On Concert After Refusing To Go Through Security Check

Fans of rapper Lil Wayne who paid good money to see him live in concert on South Carolina this past weekend came away bitterly disappointed, after Weezy skipped out on the show because of a security issue. His life wasn't in danger, nor was there any suspicious activity at the venue - the issue was that he refused to pass through a security check.

According to Billboard, in a statement published on Sunday (October 1st), managers of the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC say Lil Wayne refused to enter the building after personnel who were on site attempted to have him go through “the venue’s standard safety procedures.” No exceptions were to be made by the venue , as they were concerned that any negligence on their part would lead to a situation that could “ jeopardize safety” for those in attendance. It's not inherently clear exactly what those security measures were, but in light of the terrorist attack that plagued an Ariana Grande performance in Manchester, U.K. earlier this year, you can bet that the staff at every concert venue across the globe are putting both patrons and performers under increased security.

Fans who were caught in the crossfire of these events the night of the show took to Twitter to voice their displeasure with what ended up happening.

Lil Wayne’s representatives have not responded to multiple requests for comment from various media outlets as of this writing. Sources say that the rest of the show went on with the likes of 2 Chainz, Tory Lanez and Cardi B taking the stage and turning in some fine performances, which may have helped placate the disgruntled mass of Weezy fans at least for a little bit. As per the details in the initial news report, ticketholders are being offered refunds beginning on Monday.

Chinese court creates “Divorce Exam” that couples must fail to end their marriage

Getting a divorce is never easy for anyone involved, but it is particularly difficult at the Yibin People’s Court, in China’s Sichuan Province, where one magistrate recently implemented a divorce exam that both the husband and the wife must fail in order for their divorce application to be approved.

The divorce exam is the brainchild of Wang Shiyu, a judge at the People’s Court of Yibin County, who, after noticing that divorces accounted for an alarmingly large percentage of the court’s cases, decided to do something about it.

His intention was to make couples think twice before ending their marriage, and also give them an opportunity to reminisce the good times they had together. So he came up with a series of questions for both husband and wife, which they must answer separately. If they score under 60, Wang approves their divorce application, if not, well, they have to keep working on their marriage, whether they like it or not.

“Our intention is to know the real marriage status of the couple involved. They might also examine themselves and give consideration to the other half. After recalling bits and pieces of their marriage, they will be more rational towards it,” judge Wang said.

“As a county with a population of more than a million, the court in Yibin receives hundreds of cases each year, with half of them being domestic ones. Divorce cases account for a large percentage. As I also have a family and a child, when I’m dealing with these cases, I don’t want to see couples getting divorced in haste,” the magistrate added.

The written exam consists of three parts – fill in the blanks’, ‘short question’ and ‘statements’ – with questions covering basic information like family members’ birthdays, favorite foods, date of the couple’s anniversary, as well as more in-depth ones like ” What responsibility did you take up in this family?”, “What did you do good and what did you do bad?”, “What is marriage and family to you?”.

After both the husband and wife turn in their papers, the judge reads their answers and scores them. Here’s the catch, though – no one knows the criteria by which the papers are scored, and he refuses to reveal them.

One of the first couple to go through Wang Shiyu’s divorce exam, on September 14, scored 80 and 86 respectively. Those were considered high scores, so the judge denied their divorce application, advising them to keep working on their marriage. Wang said that the husband had a gambling problem and was disrespectful to his wife, but because they had scored so well on the test, he decided that their marriage was not beyond saving.

News regarding the divorce exam recently went viral on Chinese social media, and got mixed responses from the public. While some applauded Wang’s intention to prevent couples from divorcing on the spur of the moment, while others argued that divorce was a personal matter, and that magistrates were better of focusing on other things, like alimony, custody of any children.

I think this is a good idea.

Funny: Italian woman 'marries herself'

An Italian woman has married herself in a ceremony complete with white dress, three-layer wedding cake, bridesmaids and 70 guests.

"I firmly believe that each of us must first of all love ourselves," said Laura Mesi, a 40-year-old fitness trainer. "You can have a fairytale even without the prince."

The ceremony carries no legal weight.

But Ms Mesi is part of a growing trend for self-marriage - dubbed "sologamy" - in countries around the world.
Proponents of such ceremonies say it is about self-love and acceptance, and claiming the social affirmation normally reserved for couples who wed.

Laura says the idea of a solo wedding came to her two years ago, after a 12-year relationship ended.

Laura Mesi and her bridesmaids
"I told friends and family that if I had not found my soul-mate by my 40th birthday I would marry myself," she told La Repubblica newspaper.
"If one day I find a man with whom I can plan a future I'll be happy, but my happiness does not depend on him."
Ms Mesi says she is the first Italian woman to hold a solo ceremony. In May, a man, Nello Ruggiero, said "yes" to himself in a ceremony in Naples.
In Japan, a travel agency began offering bridal ceremonies for single women in 2014.
Reports of people marrying themselves go as far back as 1993. It has spawned a number of books and been a theme of episodes of Sex and the City and Glee.
In the US, a website called I Married Me offers self-wedding kits. In Canada, an agency called Marry Yourself Vancouver which has been running for more than a year attributes the rise in solo weddings to the growing numbers of single people.
Carved watermelon at the solo wedding of Laura Mesi

"Single is the new normal. Celebrate your solo status!" it urges.

But not everyone welcomes the trend, with some calling it narcissistic, and others criticising it as a pointless submission to a patriarchal institution.

Among the congratulatory comments left on Ms Mesi's wedding photos are others: "So sad", "you're out of your mind" and "there's something wrong with your brain".

Last month, British self-wedder Sophie Tanner told BBC Three some people called her "a sad feminist".

Ms Mesi has brushed off the catty comments, saying "nothing and no-one can turn off my smile".

But in media interviews she acknowledges that solo weddings might not be for everyone. To marry yourself, she says, you need a certain amount of money, the support of those around you, and - above all - "a pinch of madness".

‘I Don’t Have to F*ck Managers to Get on Top’- Dencia Drags Yemi Alade for Filth!

Dencia is out for Yemi Alade in a very hot way.

Posting on her Instagram yesterday, Dencia shared a clip from Yemi’s 2016 interview in which the Johnny singer called out names of some artists she thought should quit music, and one of those she dissed was Dencia.

For over a year, Dencia ignored that diss and worked on her new album. Now, her album is out and she finally has time for Yemi Alade.

“@yemialade Fuck you,” Dencia began in her lengthy response. “My Album debuted on #3. I don’t have to fuck managers and whatever to get to the top.”

And that was not all.

Dencia dismissed Yemi Alade’s achievement, insisted they are not on same level, and explained that she is taking all her time to drag the Johnny singer, to promote her new album same way Yemi Alade used her for clicks and promotion last year.

Dencia is sincere like that.

As usual Yemi Alade is ignoring the media firestorm(she rarely ever engages folks on social media), but we are guessing she will be giving Dencia the wide berth in the future because the Nigerian-Cameroonian singer and entrepreneur don’ play pretty. LOL
