Talented Pop duo Skuki have rejected an annoying award nomination for Best New Act at the upcoming Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

The stars won the award for ‘Next Rated ’ at The Headies in 2010 , and four years later, they’r they are still considered new act... Isn't that crazy???

On May 29, 2014, organizers of the
annual Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) unveiled this year’s nominees list fielding Skuki in the ‘Best New Act’ category alongside newbies Patoranking, Charass, Tekno and Runtown .

‘Best new act…bawo? Backward never NEA Awards kindly eject my name from that category ’, one half of the group Peeshaun tweeted.

‘Not moved by social acceptance or
crowd mentality. Awards don’t put money in my bank account. Dat nomination had beta been an error. (sic) ’, he continued.

AWWW!!! Man Slaps Brad Pitt At "Maleficent" Premiere!

A man was arrested Wednesday night after physically attacking Brad Pitt at the world premiere of “ Maleficent,” starring Pitt’s partner Angelina Jolie.

According to Times Live, Brad Pitt was at the premiere of "Maleficent", at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, California, when the man leaped over a fence and hit him, said Sergeant Leonard Calderon of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Although Pitt was not seriously hurt,
authorities were able to bring the man under control and arrestedhim for misdemeanor battery. He remained in police custody on Wednesday night, Calderon said.

"The officers who were handling him said it looked like it was intentional, but at this point, it remains to be determined," Calderon said.

WOW!!! American University Students Study Brymo As Project Course

I was surprised as you probably are when i saw this.

Nigerian artist Brymo has joined the likes of Kanye West , Jay Z, Miley Cyrus, and Beyonce in becoming part of the curriculum at an American university.

According to NET, Some undergraduate communication studies students of the Southern Illinois University , Carbondale, have reportedly chosen to study Brymo as part of their project.

The students are working on a project ‘Speech Communication 101 ’ and wish to use the singer as a case study for their project, after presenting a paper on his smash hit ‘Down’.

‘Just last month, our Communication students did lyrics decomposition of Brymo’s song titled ‘Down’. Success of the studies has prompted us to do further and more detailed studies of you, your music and your story. I write to inform you that as part of our yearly project work, my students will be studying you (your personality and music),’ said the notice, sent from the department of Communication Studies to Brymo.

The students, through the letter, have requested the presence of the singer at the University in August 2014 for the final assessment at the end of the project/ programme.

Manchester United Owner Malcolm Glazer Dies At 85

Manchester United owner Malcolm Glazer has died at the age of 85. 

Glazer -- the son of a Lithuanian
immigrant who went on to build an
diverse business empire , gained a
global profile through his ownership of United, one of the world's biggest and best supported football clubs.

His death was announced on the website of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers American football team, one of his other sports franchises.

"The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are
saddened to announce the passing of Owner/President Malcolm Glazer earlier this morning at the age of 85," the statement said.

"A dynamic business leader, Glazer
helped mold the Buccaneers into a
model franchise and one respected
league-wide."

Unbelievable: Man Sues Wife For Birthing Ugly Children

This update makes me laugh. The  kinda news we get in this our blogging work could be very cool at times.lol.

A terrified Chinese man divorced and then sued his ex-wife for giving birth to an "extremely ugly baby girl".

According to TMZ, Jian Feng had accused his wife of cheating on him because he was sure he could never have been the father of their daughter.

But a DNA test proved that the baby was his, a move which made wife confess that she had undergone about $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery in South Korea before she met him.

Feng filed for divorce and sued his wife for not telling him about the plastic surgery and duping him into thinking she was beautiful.

A judge agreed with Feng’s argument and ordered his ex-wife to pay him $120,000.

“I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues,” he said in an interview.

“Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me”, he said.

Nollywood star actor, Jim Iyke won’t get the chance to play the lead role in a Kenyan movie due to budget cuts by the production team.

This was revealed at the on-going
Broadcasting, Film and Music Africa
conference where Serah Mwhihaki , a panellist, was responding to questions fielded by delegates.

Mwihaki is the screen writer for ‘My Life in Crime‘, a movie adapted from a book of the same title. She let slip that Iyke may have been dropped from the production due to ‘budget slashes.’

The actor was cast as John Kiriamiti , a hard core criminal who is now reformed.

Kanye appeared to be very nervous beforehand, swigging obsessively from a bottle of water.

An eyewitness said: ‘It was funny how nervous he was. He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in. It’s common for most grooms. I’ve seen it all before. ‘

News that Kim arrived at their wedding venue with her grandmother, Mary Jo Shannon, shortly after catching a private jet with her bridal party, including sisters, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, and mother, Kris Jenner, from Paris, where the couple enjoyed a pre-wedding celebration at the Palace of Versailles on Friday night, May 23, 2014.

Nollywood Actor, Jim Iyke Denies Breaking Up With Nadia Buari

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has finally spoken out on his allged broken relationship with Nadia Buhari.

Contrary to what is being speculated online, Jim claims his relationship with Nadia is still intact. He even went further by calling out Emma, the blogger/musician whom he claims has being the one spareheading the rumors.

Jim Iyke in a statement through his Mitch Ngaman said:

"I can assure you that whatever you may have heard regarding the 'misunderstanding' between Jim and Nadia is pure speculation. Nonetheless, it is normal for lovers to disagree with each other occasionally or they wouldn't be human beings," the statement reads in part.

"We are aware of the false rumour about Jim and Nadia's breakup. We have decided to ignore it because it is unfounded. Jim and Nadia have not broken up, as claimed by Emma.

"That guy is a frustrated musician and blogger whose stock - in - trade is blackmail. All he does is to meddle in other people's business. And if he does not have his way, he goes into a tantrum and fabricates stories. We will act when we deem fit. He can keep on ranting for now," he said.
