I was actually working on set when they started that rumour and suddenly my phone line became inundated with calls. A lot of people were crying and raising concern. Why I Decided To Stop Singing Songs Which Make No Sense — D'Prince
Mavin singer ,D 'Prince has opened up on why he has changed his style of music.Recently, he has been churning out socially conscious songs.He tells Vanguard :
Sometime last year, I had this re-orientation. It’s easier to make songs that are not sensible and it will be a hit overnight. We have done it before. I was with Don Jazzy in the studio and he said I have to start recording new songs. I had told him before then that I wanted to start doing socially conscious songs.
It took us weeks to deliberate if we should go that route or stick to our normal party music. We tried it out and I have started getting positive feedbacks. I am yet to visit any blog that writes negative comments about the songs. When you actually sing something reasonable, people will reason and understand you.I have realised that you just have to put out music that people can get something out of. Even it’s a party music; it should still have a message in it. Fela did it. He had great songs and they had a message.
On how he intends to make his music evergreen
I thank God for the Mavin family- Don Jazzy, Tiwa, Dr Sid and others. I don’t believe that when it comes to music I am going to lack .I can’t tell you that I am going to be buying Bugatti’s every other day. Music is the only thing that a musician owes to his fans. If you have music, you will always be relevant, unless you deviate. Most of the old artistes are not relevant anymore because they didn’t keep up with releasing good music.

Bianca is now on the hunt for a man who hates the Umbrella singer, because hopefully he will treat her just as she is.

Birdman Pays The IRS $2 Million In Back Taxes
Forbes' annual list of the five wealthiest artists in hip hop didn't change much in 2015, with Diddy ,
Dr. Dre , Jay Z , 50 Cent and Birdman all making the cut again .
The only noticeable shift was
Stunna going from number four to five, and now we've got some news that may partially explain his slight drop in earnings. The Cash Money CEO was recently hit with two separate tax liens from the IRS for unpaid back taxes, totaling around $2 million.
TMZ reports that he's already paid up the $1,942,400.58, which was accrued from one lien in December 2014, and another this February.
No word yet on what (if anything) this entails for Cash Money, but as Birdman's still worth over a hundred mil, we'd guess that the label's still fairly safe.

Meek Mill reveals that he's not actually engaged to Nicki Minaj in his new Fader cover story.
Ever since Nicki Minajposted a picture of a huge, heart-shaped rock for the whole world to see, rumors of an engagement to Meek Mill have been passed around with little in the way of actual confirmation from either camps.
Today, we get a straight-up answer from Meek in his new Fader cover story : they're not actually engaged.
Speaking on his relationship with Minaj, the Dreamchaser said, “It’s definitely real, but it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”
The story also includes mention of a run-in with T.I. , who seemed a little less convinced that Meek and Minaj aren't getting married:
“'I ain’t engaged,' Meek says sheepishly, but T.I. isn’t having any of it. 'You never asked her, ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’ But she is your girlfriend,' he says. 'You may not have asked her, ‘Will you marry me?’ But you are engaged.'
Meek shrugs, unable to argue with this logic . 'I’ve said my part,' T.I. says, backing away with his hands up. 'As long as you know what’s going on.'”
Probably a wise move, as the pair had only been dating a little while before the engagement news popped up, but it's sure to cause some waves in the press.
