Rapper, Onome Onokohwomo, aka Yung6ix, is not happy with comedian, Akpororo, at the moment. A new war is raged between Akpororo and Yung6ix, and it degenerated into a nasty situation after the rapper’s DJ dragged the comedian’s family into messy affair.
It will be recalled that last weekend, Akpororo while cracking a joke at an event said that instead of spending over N3m in a club, Yung6ix should have used the money to buy himself a hit record.
Expectedly, the joke did not go down well with Yung6ix, who took to his Instagram page to write,
“This life sha…Akpororo that I see as a big brother hating on me. You’ll never know who wants to see you fall. God is with us.”
In a statement by his management, Yung6ix said,
“If you abuse an artiste and he does not respond, it does not mean that he likes it. There is a difference between a good natured gaffe and a career-threatening joke. You can joke about my hair, voice, or a million other things. But don’t joke with my career. There are certain limits that you don’t cross but Akpororo crossed the line. And when you cross the line, you should be ready for the consequences. Musicians spend millions just to shoot one music video, so you can’t just come from nowhere to take shots at someone who is working so hard. That is wicked and selfish. If you live in a glass house, don’t throw stones.”When Sunday Scoop sought to find out whether Akpororo had reached out to the rapper after that incident, he said, “No, he has not.”
