A surveillance footage has shown Jay Z physically being attacked by his sister-in-law Solange Knowles at a Met Gala after-party last week.
The footage obtained by TMZ starts with Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Solange stepping into the elevator. Solange ( Beyoncé’s sister) can be seen shouting profusely at Jay and then starts kicking and hitting him.
A bodyguard who was with the couple tries to hold Solange back but she still kicks Jay in the lap.
The rapper holds her leg. Beyoncé all this while has been beside Jay, watching. She later gets in the middle of the fight, in an attempt to stop her sister from hitting her husband.
The bodyguard at a point is forced to hit the emergency switch on the 12th floor to stop the elevator from opening.
After the attack , Jay Z refused to get in the car with Solange on their way home. As security was about ushering him into the awaiting vehicle they came with, right after Solange got in, he declined and continued past to another vehicle behind.
Now the baffling thing was Beyonce. She chose to ride with her sister, instead, continuing her weird reaction to the whole saga.
It is still unclear what caused the fight.
