A Nigerian body builder who resides in the UK was banned
from squeezing men’s muscles or asking them to do squats. He has also being
charged to court for harassing young boys.
The 52 year old man, Mr Akinwale Arobieke is fond of
approaching young males, feeling their arms and asking them to squat while he
watches. He usually targets young men he meets at St Peter’s square, Manchester
city center, Trafford and Bolton.
Mr Akinwale denies any wrong doing, saying he was set up by ‘Vindictive’
people who knew about his history.
He was jailed 5 years in 2003 for 15 charge harassment and
on his release he was given sexual offences prevention order (SOPO). This bans
him from certain specific activities, like feeling a person’s muscles or
getting them to squat.
A close source told us he has being jailed 3 times for
flouting the SOPO. And now he is facing another trial in Manchester court.
It’s alleged that between April and June 2011, Mr Akinwale
approached a 19 year old boy in Manchester and ‘Bumped into him’ before
striking up a conversation. According to the boy, Mr Akinwale followed him
along the street and up towards triangle shopping center.
“He stopped in front of me and held out my arm, because I stopped
answering his question. H e opened his rack sack which had different body
building magazines and started showing me pictures of them and asking me If I knew
who they were. He asked if I could do a particular pose”. The boy also confirmed
the man has approached him several times disturbing him.
Mr Akinwale who was defending him self, denies he ever met
the boy in the street. And there was no CCTV to prove it.
