Ex-MGBN Queen Sandra Petgrave & Hubby Jailed for fraud in the US
1992 Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria, Sandra Petgrave and her husband, Chiedu Chukwuka have been sentenced for fraud. The parents of six will spend a total of 10 years 6 months in jail with Sandra spending 18 months in prison, while her husband is to spend nine years.They are also to pay over five million dollars in fines.According to the Official FBI website.....
Chiedu “George” Chukwuka has been sentenced in connection with his lead role in a mortgage fraud ring that spanned five years and caused millions in losses. Chukwuka, along with his co-defendants and other co-conspirators, engaged in a massive property-flipping scheme resulting in over $5.8 million in actual losses to financial institutions between 2006 and 2011.
“At the height of the recent mortgage-fraud crisis, this property-flipping scheme caused scores of homes to fall into foreclosure, costing financial institutions millions of dollars in losses,” said U.S. Attorney John Horn.
“The sentencing of Mr. Chukwuka brings to a close a lengthy investigation and prosecution of a criminal enterprise that targeted the banking industry through their prolific mortgage fraud schemes. Mr. Chukwuka, considered by law enforcement and prosecution to be head of this enterprise, caused extensive damage with high loss amounts to those victim banks involved. The FBI is pleased with the role it played in bringing about this sentencing to federal prison of Mr. Chukwuka as well as the previous sentencings of his co-defendants in this matter,” said J. Britt Johnson, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office.
According to U.S. Horn, the charges and other information presented in court: Chukwuka, along with his co-defendants and co-conspirators, recruited straw buyers to purchase homes at a discounted price, typically a bank-owned or distressed property. The group then recruited a second straw buyer to purchase the same home at a dramatically inflated price. In turn, Chukwuka, his co-defendants and co-conspirators applied for an acquisition loan for the second straw buyer, supporting the loan application with false income, fake employment, and fraudulent net worth data.
The group profited from their scheme by pocketing the acquisition loan proceeds paid by the victim bank to the straw seller (who was the straw purchaser in the first transaction). The amount of profit was the difference between the price paid by the straw purchaser in the first transaction and the price paid by the straw purchaser in the second transaction, less transaction costs. Since none of the straw purchasers made any significant loan payments, the targeted properties usually went into foreclosure, resulting in over $5.8 million in actual losses to financial institutions between 2006 and 2011.
Chiedu “George” Chukwuka, 47, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Timothy C. Batten, Sr. to serve nine years in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $5,868,243.80. Chukwuka was convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud on August 10, 2015, after he pleaded guilty.

T.I. Reportedly Owes The IRS A Ton Of Money
T.I. had some good news to share with us last night when he announced that he’s the newest part owner in Jay Z’s streaming services Tidal, but unfortunately that celebration was short lived as some bad news surfaced tonight. According to The Daily Mail, T.I. was recently hit with a tax lien by the IRS for $1.6 million dollars, which serves as his THIRD in the past year alone.
Back in August, the IRS filed two tax liens against Clifford Harris, T.I.’s government name, for $1.4 million and $3.1 million for unpaid taxes in the years 2012 and 2013. Now add in this latest report, and T.I. owes the IRS a whopping 6.2 million dollars in total.
The IRS says they have demanded the payment, but T.I. has refused to cough up the money and now they will begin the process of seizing his assets to collect on their debt.
For what it’s worth, The Dialy Mail states that Tip’s networth is estimated to be around $215 million, so that $6.2 million is “chump change” in the grand scheme of things. However, Tip’s actions & lack of payments state the opposite.
Woman dies during sex after lover used cucumber as sex toy
A salesman who accidentally killed his lover while using a cucumber as a sex toy has gone on trial for negligent homicide in Germany. Oliver Dietmann, 46, could be jailed for five years for the bedroom death of his lover Rica Varna, also 46
He told the court he and his lover 'often used vegetables' as a substitute for sex toys, the Mailonline reports.
He said he had met Rica in 2004, their relationship turning sexual five years later. He invited her around to his place where the cucumber was used 'to pleasure her.'
He admitted that they had drunk four bottles of wine between them and several glasses of schnapps. A post mortem later showed that she was nearly four times over the legal limit to drive a car.
He told the court how after the cucumber had served its purpose
'I put it it in her mouth. But suddenly I saw there was smoke coming from the kitchen. I forgot that I had put a piece of meat on the stove for my dog.'I ran to the kitchen, fed my dog and then went on to the balcony to smoke a cigarette.' He said when he returned to the bedroom, Rica was unconscious.'I tried to get the cucumber pieces out of her mouth,' he said, 'but they were so mushy I couldn't get any purchase at all.'
Medical experts later said that the cucumber got wedged in her throat, cut off her air supply and plunged her into a coma.
'The defendant must have known that he should not have left her for so long on her own, said prosecutor Reinhard Hoffmann.
Soldiers beat,arrest DPO,others for allegedly molesting Army Captain
There was panic Monday morning at the Railway Post, Umuahia, Abia State when police officers attached to the post allegedly manhandled a man later identified as an Army captain for packing his 18-seater Mitsubishi bus close to the fence of the Police station.
According to eye witness accounts, the Divisional Police officer in-charge of the police post was said to be driving into the station when he spotted the bus and ordered the owner to repack the bus claiming that it was blocking his way.
Vanguard reports that , the Army captain who was in mufti, was said to have come out, greeted the DPO and quickly wanted to repark his bus. But the police officer was said to have ordered him to come closer and explain why he should block his way to the station. The army officer was said to have continued to plead with the angry police officer when he refused to allow him to remove his vehicle to re-park. Rather, he was alleged to have ordered his men to arrest the man, who at that juncture unveiled his identity, which was doubted by the police officer who insisted that he must be arrested.
The scene attracted passers-by and people doing sundry businesses around the area, who also joined to plead with the police officer who refused to budge and insisted that the soldier must be arrested.
“He must obey my arrest order; you people should tell him to obey my arrest order. You must obey my arrest order, you said you are a captain, you must tell me how many wars you have fought. “I have fought in three Boko Haram states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe before coming here, you must show me your identity today; drag him into the cell now,” the DPO whose identity was not immediately known was yelling.
However, the tables turned against the ‘powerful’ DPO when four soldiers arrived at the police station and discovered the man being molested was actually an army captain, and they became angry that an officer was calm and gentle to plead, yet he was being disgraced by the police officer. They called for reinforcements and in less than 15 minutes, four Hilux vans loaded with soldiers, arrived the police station.
They later took away the DPO and another police officer with them to their base, after giving them the beating of their lives. The police have colonized the parking lots around the area, harassing and ordering motorists not to park vehicles around the area, as they always block the road that passes through the station.

Those who inflated 2016 budget will be punished-Buhari vows
President Muhammadu Buhari who is in Saudi Arabia,vowed late Tuesday in Riyadh that all those involved in the 2016 National Budget controversy will face the most severe punishment.
Addressing the Nigerian Community in Saudi Arabia, President Buhari said that the unauthorised alterations had completely changed the document from the one he presented to the National Assembly. He said
“The culprits will not go unpunished. I have been a military governor, petroleum minister, military Head of State and headed the Petroleum Trust Fund.
“Never had I heard the words “budget padding”. Our Minister of Budget and National Planning did a great job with his team. The Minister became almost half his size during the time, working night and day to get the budget ready, only for some people to pad it.“What he gave us was not what was finally being debated. It is very embarrassing and disappointing. We will not allow those who did it to go unpunished," President Buhari vowed.

Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo appointed Special Assistant to Kwara State Governor
Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has been named Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism to Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed.
The elated ‘Jelili’ actor, who was got the appointment yesterday, took to Instagram few hours ago to share the good news with his fans.
‘Today i was appointed as Special Assistant( SA) to the Kwara State Governor, on Arts, Culture and Tourism. Thank God 4 an opportunity 2 transform my state into a foremost tourist state that will attract foreign and domestic tourists. My fans i need ur support. Leave me not,’ he wrote.
