T.I. Reportedly Owes The IRS A Ton Of Money
T.I. had some good news to share with us last night when he announced that he’s the newest part owner in Jay Z’s streaming services Tidal, but unfortunately that celebration was short lived as some bad news surfaced tonight. According to The Daily Mail, T.I. was recently hit with a tax lien by the IRS for $1.6 million dollars, which serves as his THIRD in the past year alone.
Back in August, the IRS filed two tax liens against Clifford Harris, T.I.’s government name, for $1.4 million and $3.1 million for unpaid taxes in the years 2012 and 2013. Now add in this latest report, and T.I. owes the IRS a whopping 6.2 million dollars in total.
The IRS says they have demanded the payment, but T.I. has refused to cough up the money and now they will begin the process of seizing his assets to collect on their debt.
For what it’s worth, The Dialy Mail states that Tip’s networth is estimated to be around $215 million, so that $6.2 million is “chump change” in the grand scheme of things. However, Tip’s actions & lack of payments state the opposite.
Woman dies during sex after lover used cucumber as sex toy
A salesman who accidentally killed his lover while using a cucumber as a sex toy has gone on trial for negligent homicide in Germany. Oliver Dietmann, 46, could be jailed for five years for the bedroom death of his lover Rica Varna, also 46
He told the court he and his lover 'often used vegetables' as a substitute for sex toys, the Mailonline reports.
He said he had met Rica in 2004, their relationship turning sexual five years later. He invited her around to his place where the cucumber was used 'to pleasure her.'
He admitted that they had drunk four bottles of wine between them and several glasses of schnapps. A post mortem later showed that she was nearly four times over the legal limit to drive a car.
He told the court how after the cucumber had served its purpose
'I put it it in her mouth. But suddenly I saw there was smoke coming from the kitchen. I forgot that I had put a piece of meat on the stove for my dog.'I ran to the kitchen, fed my dog and then went on to the balcony to smoke a cigarette.' He said when he returned to the bedroom, Rica was unconscious.'I tried to get the cucumber pieces out of her mouth,' he said, 'but they were so mushy I couldn't get any purchase at all.'
Medical experts later said that the cucumber got wedged in her throat, cut off her air supply and plunged her into a coma.
'The defendant must have known that he should not have left her for so long on her own, said prosecutor Reinhard Hoffmann.
Soldiers beat,arrest DPO,others for allegedly molesting Army Captain
There was panic Monday morning at the Railway Post, Umuahia, Abia State when police officers attached to the post allegedly manhandled a man later identified as an Army captain for packing his 18-seater Mitsubishi bus close to the fence of the Police station.
According to eye witness accounts, the Divisional Police officer in-charge of the police post was said to be driving into the station when he spotted the bus and ordered the owner to repack the bus claiming that it was blocking his way.
Vanguard reports that , the Army captain who was in mufti, was said to have come out, greeted the DPO and quickly wanted to repark his bus. But the police officer was said to have ordered him to come closer and explain why he should block his way to the station. The army officer was said to have continued to plead with the angry police officer when he refused to allow him to remove his vehicle to re-park. Rather, he was alleged to have ordered his men to arrest the man, who at that juncture unveiled his identity, which was doubted by the police officer who insisted that he must be arrested.
The scene attracted passers-by and people doing sundry businesses around the area, who also joined to plead with the police officer who refused to budge and insisted that the soldier must be arrested.
“He must obey my arrest order; you people should tell him to obey my arrest order. You must obey my arrest order, you said you are a captain, you must tell me how many wars you have fought. “I have fought in three Boko Haram states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe before coming here, you must show me your identity today; drag him into the cell now,” the DPO whose identity was not immediately known was yelling.
However, the tables turned against the ‘powerful’ DPO when four soldiers arrived at the police station and discovered the man being molested was actually an army captain, and they became angry that an officer was calm and gentle to plead, yet he was being disgraced by the police officer. They called for reinforcements and in less than 15 minutes, four Hilux vans loaded with soldiers, arrived the police station.
They later took away the DPO and another police officer with them to their base, after giving them the beating of their lives. The police have colonized the parking lots around the area, harassing and ordering motorists not to park vehicles around the area, as they always block the road that passes through the station.

President Muhammadu Buhari who is in Saudi Arabia,vowed late Tuesday in Riyadh that all those involved in the 2016 National Budget controversy will face the most severe punishment.
Addressing the Nigerian Community in Saudi Arabia, President Buhari said that the unauthorised alterations had completely changed the document from the one he presented to the National Assembly. He said
“The culprits will not go unpunished. I have been a military governor, petroleum minister, military Head of State and headed the Petroleum Trust Fund.
“Never had I heard the words “budget padding”. Our Minister of Budget and National Planning did a great job with his team. The Minister became almost half his size during the time, working night and day to get the budget ready, only for some people to pad it.“What he gave us was not what was finally being debated. It is very embarrassing and disappointing. We will not allow those who did it to go unpunished," President Buhari vowed.

Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo appointed Special Assistant to Kwara State Governor
Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has been named Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism to Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed.
The elated ‘Jelili’ actor, who was got the appointment yesterday, took to Instagram few hours ago to share the good news with his fans.
‘Today i was appointed as Special Assistant( SA) to the Kwara State Governor, on Arts, Culture and Tourism. Thank God 4 an opportunity 2 transform my state into a foremost tourist state that will attract foreign and domestic tourists. My fans i need ur support. Leave me not,’ he wrote.
Being the latest political appointee, Femi Adebayo has just joined the league of Nollywood actors and actresses that have ventured into politics through one appointment or the other.

50,000 Abuja workers sacked in two months
Over 50,000 workers have lost their jobs in Abuja in the last two months.The President, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Tony Ejinkeonye, confirmed the job losses in an exclusive interview with a Punch correspondent in Abuja.
Similarly, the President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Mr. Frank Jacobs, said that about 10 companies had formally notified the association about their intention to shut down operations before the end of this month.
Ejinkeonye said that except something urgent was done by the Federal Government to address the forex exchange problem, more people could lose their jobs.He said
“Currently, in Abuja, we have about 50,000 workers that have lost their jobs in the last two months. I must confess this is not a good time for the manufacturing sector,” “As manufacturers and industrialists, the scarcity of foreign exchange has affected us in the area of raw materials that need to be imported. We cannot access foreign exchange anymore to import raw materials.
“Also, maintenance of some of these facilities has become a problem because the spare parts have to be imported and the inability to get foreign exchange to import them has impacted negatively on our operations.
“Some of our members who are manufacturers have even gone to the extreme of withdrawing their goods from the market and need to increase their prices to reflect the high foreign exchange rate. Many of us are having the problem of retaining our workers because the production is being hampered by lack of raw materials.”

Kanye West was back at it with the paparazzi on Friday, but it’s not for what you might think. Known in the past for his short temper, and fist throwing anger with the camera crews, Kanye did the quite opposite yesterday when he broke up a fight between two photographers while arriving back at LAX.
Caught by TMZ, Kanye was being bombarded by the paparazzi, when two photographers ended turning on each other and starting throwing some blows. But rather than walking faster in the opposite direction, Kanye stepped in and broke the two guys up by giving one of them a hug in effort to calm everyone down.

Hairdresser stabbed boyfriend to death for spending too much time on Facebook
A hairdresser stabbed her boyfriend to death after a blazing row over him spending too much time on Facebook befriending other women.
Terri-Marie Palmer, 23, fatally stabbed Damon Searson in the heart after flying into a jealous rage over his social media activity.
She then dialled 999 and claimed the stabbing happened accidentally when she threw Damon the blade at the caravan park where they were staying.
She said: "It's a carving knife. We literally only got it today. It's really f****** sharp."
But a jury didn't believe Palmer and convicted her of murder..
