Tiwa Savage’s Fiancee TeeBillz – “Our Wedding Is Not For Everyone”

Tiwa Savage’s fiancé Tee Billz in a recent interview with Encomium Magazine explained that his wedding ceremony to Tiwa which is set to hold on the 23rd of this month isn’t for everyone and attendance would be strictly by invitation.

He said: “We are making our wedding as low key as possible, not everyone is invited. Our families are large including our friends and the venue won’t house everybody so we are printing limited invitation cards.”

I’d Give Anything To Work With Jesse Jags, 2face – Eva Alordiah

Barely few years after she ventured into the Nigerian music terrain, this scintillating singer is gradually moving up. The Delta state born, rapper, Eva Alordiah, a.k.a, Eva, in this revealing interview, talks about her love for dogs and rats; her challenges as a female rapper and other personal issues.

My name is Eva Alordiah, I am an Isoko girl from Delta state. I am from a very simple Christian family, I am a lover of animals. I am a Computer Science graduate. I have always loved music and I think doing music now will not be a
surprise especially, to my parents. This is something I have always loved. I am also, a professional make- up artiste.

I have my own make- up outfit here in Lagos. I am currently doing music and make- up together. I wanted to be an animator because of my love for cartoons. I also love to draw and that was why I studied Computer Science. What i really wanted to do was computer animation but the course was not in any Nigerian University curriculum.

So, I decided to start with a first degree in Computer Science, hoping to move on from there to study Computer Animation abroad. I am still in love with that and it is something I would do at a later stage of my life. Right now, the part of me that likes to draw, I have converted it to make- up artistry. You know it is all about drawing and painting. I have not dropped any album yet but I have dropped a free tape last year because, my fans wanted that. I am seriously working on my first full album.

I just finished working with Femi Kuti and Darey Art-Alade. I chose music because, music is life. Working with Femi Kuti was a wonderful experience. He is an amazing friend. We were friends for a while before we even thought of working together. Connecting with somebody from that lineage is very imperative. I think Femi Kuti is such a great mentor to have.

My going into music could be said to be because of my mother. She was an amazing singer. She used to sing a lot when we were growing up.
She had so many musical tapes. My mother was a good fan of Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, amongst others. I would say that my musical life really started from my mother. I am also a writer.

When I started writing music, it was just fun. I am currently a writer for a couple of magazines.
I am also a fashion designer because my mother taught me how to do so when I was growing up.
I know how to draw, I do make up. I love music, I love to dance and perform. I love to do anything that is creative.

Coping with other female artistes in the industry will never be a problem to me because, I am a different person and they are all different people, and we are all called to do different things. I have never felt like I'm competing with any body because everybody has his/her own part to perform. My name and my style are unique. My name is not their name and their names are not my name. I do music my own way , likewise everybody. The fact that I don't do what they do makes me unique.

Talking about my looks, everything goes to my mother. She is a nurse and she brought us up very healthy. I have always maintained a strict diet and exercise. I work- out and exercise a lot.
I drink a lot of water. I don't stress myself because I don't think there is any need to worry in life. I also trust in God so much because I know there is nothing too big for God to do. I try as much as possible to maintain a very close relationship with God. You know, once in a while, we fall but I try as much as possible to still maintain a closer relationship with God.

I think everything that happened to me in the industry, has a reason. I don't think there is anything that has happened to me that I regret. Everything that happened helped me to grow up to the person that I am now.
The major challenge in promoting a song I would say is finance. There is no money anywhere. I have to fend for myself for sometime now. Being a woman that wants to survive in the industry has many challenges. I have some personal challenges. There is no inspiration anywhere. When you let yourself lose focus because of this, then the challenges come in.

I have gotten to a point where I felt like, I was not doing music any more. There are some artistes I could 'kill' to work with; like, Jesse jags and 2face . I will also like to work with Sade Adu because I just feel like we can connect on a bigger level. That is not just on the barest minimum of music. Music that can grow a new generation. I will like to grow my music.

REVEALED: Tiwa Savage Caused The Problems Between Don Jazzy And Wande Coal ?

There is a new twist to the Don Jazzy versus Wande Coal saga as new reports allege that Tiwa Savage, the first lady of Mavin records is the source of the whole trouble.
Some hours ago, Don Jazzy accused former label mate Wande Coal for allegedly stealing one of his songs titled ‘Baby face’.

According to reports, Tiwa and Don Jazzy were rejoicing over the positive responses from fans over the success of their recently released ‘Eminado’ video when suddenly wande released his own song and it instantly became a trending topic sweeping tiwas song into the rug, she then brought don jazzy’s attention to the released ‘Baby Face’ track.

A reliable source said, “Tiwa and Wande Coal haven’t always been friends, and she was the one that brought Don Jazzy’s attention to the baby face song. When Don Jazzy saw and heard the song, he was angry and had resolved to giving Wande Coal a call but Tiwa insisted that he should make it public.”
Tiwa allegedly said, “He can not continue to steal from you, he should at least be respectful.enough to credit you, if you don’t do this, he will continue to steal your works, if you put it out on twitter, he’ll know you are serious. It’s wrong to always take people for granted.”

Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage is known for always attacking anyone who offends on twitter.
She recently attacked editors of TW on twitter for a publication rather than calling them privately to settle whatever misunderstanding they had…

Nigerian Banks To Replace ATM Card With Finger Print By Next Year February 14!

I was happy when i heard this news. The Central Bank of Nigeria and the
Bankers Committee on Tuesday sealed a biometric solution pact with a German Firm, Dermalog, for the development of a payment system that would be driven by fingerprints.

What this means is unlike the current practice where different instruments are used as means of identification, bank customers will from 2014 be identified through their fingerprints.
Sanusi, while speaking at the signing of the agreement, which was held at the central bank’s headquarters in Abuja, noted that the system would become operational on February 14, 2014.

This move followed the recommendation of a sub-committee chaired by the Group Managing Director, Zenith Bank Plc, Mr. Godwin Emefiele.
The cost of the project is above $50m and the banks, in their wisdom and in line with their collaborative efforts, are going to be sharing the cost of the project, and no customer is going to be charged for this project.

Tonto Dikeh ‘collaborates’ with D’banj

Tonto Dikeh and D’banj have gotten
quite ‘close’ in recent times. She has been seen severally at D’banj’s home in Lekki.
She’s  currently recording songs at the studio in his house and whenever she records late into the night, she spends the night there.

Quite a few people have seen and
interacted with Tonto at D’banj’s place and some even think she’s his current babe because of how much time she spends there and some of the ‘things’ the two stars get up to … but me I don’t know that one oh, all I know is that she spends time there to further her music career and I do not know if D’banj is planning to sign her to his record label but he once said that if he signs her, she will blow!

SHOCKER: Two Women Abduct 33-Year-Old Man, And Rape Him

A 33-year-old man was allegedly held at gunpoint and forced to have sex with a woman in the backseat of a car after the woman's female companion offered him a ride on the Near North Side over the summer.
The man begged one of his tormentors - who demanded he place his hands on her breasts and buttocks during the July 26 attack - to stop, it was reported.

He eventually escaped, running out of the car naked from the waist down and into a taxi where a cabbie helped him and drove him home to the suburbs, in Chicago.
The man had been walking in the 400 block of North Kingsbury early that morning when 25-year-old Cierra Ross allegedly pulled up to him and offered to give him a ride.
While she was driving, Ross pulled out a black revolver and ordered the man, who was in the passenger seat, to get in the back and have sex with her friend.

The woman in the backseat demanded that he take off his clothes and the man complied by taking off his shoes, pants and underwear before he was assaulted.
The two women also took $200 from the man, his credit cards and iPhone, according to a police report.

ASUU UPDATE: FG to give Universities N1.1tn in five years

Details of the Monday/ Tuesday marathon meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of Academic Staff Union of Universities have begun to emerge.

The PUNCH gathered on Tuesday evening that a key component of the agreement reached by the parties was that the Federal Government would inject N1.1tn into public universities in the next five years.

A reliable source, who made this known, also hinted that the strike would be called off anytime next week.

He said the government team which was led by President Goodluck Jonathan would release N220bn yearly into the sector beginning from 2014.

The source added, “The meeting should be the longest that we have ever had on this crisis but I can tell you that both parties were frank all through the discussions.
“ The parties also showed commitment towards ending the crisis. The President in particular showed that he was serious about ending the strike and that was why he offered to release over N1tn to the universities in the next five years.
“The money will be released on a yearly basis at N220bn per annum beginning from 2014.
For the outgoing year, the government will only release N100bn and this has been processed.”
He said that the government, in order to show its commitment to a fresh pact, accepted that “the fund(N1.1tn) should domiciled at the Central Bank of Nigeria”
“The money will be released on a quarterly basis to the universities. So, there won’t be any problem about funding the deal,” the source said.

The National Universities Commission and the Trade Union Congress, according to him, will be the joint guarantors of the agreement while the Minister of Education will be the implementation officer.

The source also said that the government agreed among other things, to revamp the public universities by ensuring that all those issues that always led to strike were dealt with once and for all.
It was learnt that the negotiating team of ASUU led by Dr. Nassir Faggae met on Tuesday night to further deliberate on the deal.
Though the details of the meeting were not known as of 11.22pm on Tuesday, it was gathered that ASUU might call a National Executive Council meeting on or before Saturday where the deal would be tabled before all its branch executives.
Jonathan had while shaking hands with Fagge after the marathon meeting in the Presidential Villa, Abuja said, “My President, I hope it (strike) will end today(Tuesday). Our children have suffered enough. We must find a solution.”
All those in attendance responded with a loud “Amen.”
When greeting Omar, he said, “My President with you around, there will be no problem; our agreement is signed, sealed and delivered.”.

Faggae told State House correspondent on his way out of the Villa, that his team would take back a message to varsity teachers before a decision would be taken on the next line of action.
“We had a lengthy meeting with Mr. President, and we looked into how best to address the problem of university education in this country.
We now have a message from Mr. President that we are going to take to our members and we are expecting that our members will respond appropriately to his message,” he said.

Fagge added that since the message was meant for members, he would not divulge it to the press.
When asked whether university teachers would be called upon to return to the classrooms, he said that the decision was left for them to take.
When further asked if he was impressed by the President’s message, Faggae cautioned journalists against putting words in his mouth, insisting that only ASUU members would determine that.

The Minister of Labour, Chief Emeka Wogu, who listened to Faggae’s encounter with journalists, later said progress was made during the discussion.
He said, “We made progress. The President of ASUU told you that they are going back with a message from the Federal Government back to their members and the message is full of high expectation and hope.”

When asked whether ASUU would call off the strike, Wogu said that was why he described the message as full of expectation.
“Our prayer is that they will come back with positive outcome. They might even not come back to meet us. They might take decision there that will meet your expectations “ he said.

He added that the offers made by the government during the meeting were those that were in line with the contentious 2009 agreement.
He said since the issues that led to the strike bordered on the 2009 agreement, the government did not go beyond the pact.
The President was joined at the meeting that started at 2.40pm on Monday by Vice- President Namadi Sambo; Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim; the Supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike; Wogu among others.

Faggae led the union team which included past presidents such as Prof. Abdulahi Sule-Kano, Prof. Dipo Fashina and Prof. Festus Iyayi. President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Abdulawahid Omar and his Trade Union Congress counterpart, Bobboi Kaigama, also attended.
Other members of the delegation were Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, Prof. Victor Osodeke, Prof. Suleiman Abdul, Dr. Victor Igbum and Mr. Michael Odunmoraye.
The marathon meeting was the first between ASUU and Jonathan since the strike started.
The Presidency took over the negotiations with ASUU on September 19 with Sambo in charge.

Unbelievable: Nollywood Actress Cossy Orjiakor Insures Her Bréast For $1.6 Million Dollars, People To Pay Before They Touch or See

Nollywood actress Cossy Orjiakor struck gold yesterday when an American company agreed to insure her signature bósoms for $1.6 million dollars. The company, Enhanced Silicón Inc. famous for insuring the bosóms of Pamela

Anderson and Dolly Parton agreed to the deal just before Cossy Orjiakor’s recent birthday bash, where she displayed her endowments for the world to see.
The star will travel to Los Angeles in two weeks to sign on the dotted lines.
“I specifically asked for $1.6 million,” Cossy said, “to show Stella Oduah that you don’t have to misuse public funds to get what you want.”

As part of the deal awaiting her signature, there will be limits on how many men and women touch her bósoms each month. Also, the bósoms have all been given names and must now be treated as people in future movie roles. That means that Enhanced Silicon Inc. will determine how much a movie producer will pay each bosóm for an appearance in a movie.
“The downside of the deal is that I may get dressed more often now,” says Cossy Orjiakor.

Plans are at advanced stage for the official revealing to each bósom’s name in Lagos when Cossy returns.

Don Jazzy Stole My Production Credit For Wande Coal's Low - Chizzi

Things are getting more and more interesting by the hour. The release of Wande Coal‘s new single “Baby Face” earlier today forced Don Jazzy to put out his own “studio demo” of the same song recorded about a year ago.

That led to people accusing Shizzi and Wande Coal of “intellectual property theft”. Shizzi and his camp have decided to clarify his stand on the issue by putting out the press release below.

Shizzi’s Statement: Quote

“I have heard and seen some folks rant about me stealing production credit for Wande Coal’s new single “Baby Face” and I would like to clarify this issue. I was only doing my job by making the beat for Wande and that’s what I did. I don’t see any reason why people should jump into quick conclusions without taking their time to really dig into the matter for
facts.

Two years back, I remember I created a demo for Wande Coal’s “Shawty Go low” and someone else took the credit. I was in shock because i had plans to finish the song with Wande and was hoping it would be released as a single which i produced.”

See Gobe: Don Jazzy Accuses Wande Coal Of Stealing His Song, Wande Coal Disses Back

Some of you didn't know this, but Wande Coal left Mavin Records a while back. A few hours after Wande released his new single, Baby Face, today, Don Jazzy took to twitter to call him out.

He's basically saying the song, Baby Face, is his and Wande stole it from him. Don Jazzy even posted a link to his own version of the song on Twitter.

Fans Attacks Mercy Johson For Blasting marketers

Serious trouble for Mercy Johnson as fans attacked her on social media due to her recent outburst on marketers over ban. She is by far the biggest name on the bill and besides, the best actress in Nollywood presently,so many fans received her ban with miss feelings.
But the actress instead of maintaining her calmness and allow posterity to speak for her due to what she has done in the industry, got infuriated and slapped the marketers.

She replied them that some people should stick to "kain kain"(Local gin consumed in Nigeria) and moreover advised them to try other actresses if they can't afford her.

Her response was met with outrage from hundreds of disappointed fans insinuating that the actress was becoming to big to handle by marketers and seems to be feeling too pompous.

One wrote on Twitter;

"She seems to have gathered too much weight and has hurriedly forgotten those days when she used to go on bended knees for a 'waka pass' Role in movies. They will teach her a lesson"

Another one vented;

I have warned you elsewhere Mercy, to limit your 'gra gra', Don't do 'Gra Gra', lots of 'gra gra' people like you have come and gone and never return, so please lower your 'gra gra' the end of the fame may be knocking at your door. Be warned.

One other infuriated fan commented;

Mercy Johnson, humble yourself and make humility your watchword. You are not endowed beauty wise as the likes of Genny, Omosexy, Rita etc who any day can still make a living from corporate endorsements because of their good look, Mercy Johnson you are ugly, rough and don't belong to the class of the beautiful ones as to get any such endorsement contract. If all you make a living out of, is acting and you are unable to manage your ego as is beginning to show then the end is drawing so close and so fast. Don't forget younger actresses are coming up fast and thick just like you also came and made your mark and obviously all the signs being exhibited by you shows your time is up to give way to others to continue where you've chosen to stop.

Séxy Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, parted ways with rave of the moment artiste, Iyanya when she told him about marriage and the young talent declined.

Yvonne sat down and told Iyanya that she wanted to get even more serious and take the next steps in their
