Woman Preserve Her Dead Son's Dead Body For 18Years So Her Grandson Can Recognize His Father (See Photo+Video)

A mother decided not to bury her son, but rather preserve the body in her home so her grandson can see his father.

Joni Bakaradze died 18 years ago when he was just 22-years-old. He was already married and had a son, who was almost 2-years-old.

Instead of burying him the traditional way, the family decided to build a “grave” in their house where they keep their son in a casket, which can be easily opened at any time.

His mother, Tsiuri Kvaratskhelia of Zugdidi Municipality, in Georgia,
has taken her motherly love to the extreme as she lovingly takes care of her mummified son’s body for the past 18 years.

Everyday for the past 18 years, the mother has been lovingly caring for her son’s body in an attempt to preserve it.
The family celebrates his birthdays. For many years, on the day of his birthday, Kvaratskhelia changes her son’s clothes.

At first, his mother used traditional embalming techniques, but after awhile she began to use her own methods.
The mother is treating Bakaradze’s body with rubbing alcohol. She uses wet sheets soaked in alcohol to preserve the body.

"I cannot leave the body without sheets during the night or the skin turns black,” the mother said.
"He was a good man and a good husband," the mother said of her son.

In explaining why she has not buried Bakaradze’s body, the mother said that she wanted her grandson to be able to love his father.
Bakaradze’s son is now almost 20-years-old. According to Kvaratskhelia, he is not afraid to see his father’s body, and he is happy with his grandparents’ decision to preserve the body.

It’s wrong to make stowaway boy hero – NAAPE

National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, NAAPE, has criticised the award of scholarship to stowaway teenager, Daniel Oikhena, by the Governor Rauf Aregbesola Foundation.

The association contended , yesterday, that it was wrong to make hero out of the boy.

It will be recalled that on Saturday, August 24, 2013, the teenager successfully breached the security of the Benin Airport, operated by Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, and managed to stowaway at the wheel well of an Arik aircraft on a flight from Benin to Lagos.

The boy was apprehended when he came out of the wheel well on landing in Lagos.

According to Bunmi Gindeh, Public Relations Officer, NAAPE, the association “seriously frowns at the effort by some people to make a hero out of the stowaway boy by publicly giving reward to a boy that at best fell far short of acceptable behaviour.

“While NAAPE does not want to stand in the way of anyone’s fortune, we consider that in this particular case, making such gesture public gives an erroneous impression which makes it a dis-service.

“We fear that such public gesture, even in the name of charity, will only encourage other kids, and even adults, to embark on similar misadventure.”

The association said it was also concerned that both FAAN and Arik had been publicly trading blames over the incident, when the two corporate bodies were both aware of their responsibilities to assist in the process of identification and rectification of the problem, and in a civilised manner.

Evangelist in court for stealing tokunbo fridges

A 30-year-old man, identified simply as Ogamba, was on Monday charged before an Ojo Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, for allegedly stealing seven fairly-used refrigerators valued at N171,000.

The accused, an evangelist, is standing trial for one count of stealing.

The prosecutor, ASP Godwin Eze, told the court that the accused committed the alleged offence on February 8, 2013.

He said the complainant, one Mr Stephen Agbo, a dealer in electronics at the Alaba International Market, Ojo, entrusted the refrigerators to the accused to sell.

Eze said the accused took possession of the refrigerators, but nothing was heard from him afterwards.

“He did not remit any proceeds of the sale, or give any explanation as to the whereabouts of the goods, despite repeated demands,” the prosecutor said.

Eze said that on several occasions when the complainant visited the residence of the accused, he was told by Ogamba’s wife that her husband had been in the “desert” for prayers.

The prosecutor said that when it became clear that the accused had something “fishy”, the complainant reported the matter to the police.

Eze said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Magistrate, Mrs Adenike Shonubi, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.

She adjourned the case to Sept. 27 for mention.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that stealing attracts three-year imprisonment, if the accused is convicted.

Police trail bank manager over N100m fraud

Operatives of the Inspector-General of Police monitoring team at Kam Salem, Obalende, Lagos, have launched a man-hunt for manager of the Ladipo branch of one of the first generation banks over an alleged N100million fraud.

However, the bank manager’s lover in whose account the fleeing suspect was alleged to have lodged some of the stolen amount had been arrested.

She was, however, released four days later when the bank’s manager refused to show up.

Preliminary investigation, according to Police sources, showed that the fleeing bank manager allegedly withdrew N35 million from customers’ accounts in Ladipo Branch alone.

Police sources stated that when the illicit deed was discovered last week by the bank, the manager escaped before the arrival of the Police.

“Part of the amount was traced to his girlfriend’s account. What the suspect does is, each time he makes the illegal withdrawal from customers’ accounts, he would use his girlfriend’s Certificate of Incorporation, to open several other accounts in other banks where he would lodge the amount.

ASUU Denied Any Political Undertone In The Ongoing Strike

THE striking Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has denied any political undertone in their asking for full implementation of the four-year old agreement reached with the Federal Government.
ASUU insisted that the Federal Government, rather than the union, is politicising the issue through propaganda.
Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State had, while hosting the National Union of Benue State Students, alleged that the ASUU strike was becoming a political action other than agitation for the welfare of university lecturers.
In a swift reaction, Chairman of ASUU, the University of Ibadan (UI), Dr. Olusegun Ajiboye, asked Suswam to guard his utterances and limit them to the mandate given him by the Federal Government.
Meanwhile, the member representing Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency and former president of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers ((NUPENG), Peter Appatasson, yesterday faulted the Federal Government’s stance on the lingering ASUU strike, stating that it was wrong for government to renege on an agreement it reached with lecturers few years back.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the Uneme National Development Association (UNDA) released plans to launch a N100 million education fund for the communities scattered in Akoko-Edo, Etsako Central, Etsako East and Esan South East local councils of Edo State, the lawmaker, however, appealed to both parties to return to the negotiation table.
Nevertheless, he disagreed with the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, that the country could sink financially if all ASUU’s demands were met.
Carpeting Nigerian leaders for hypocrisy, Ajiboye asked them to demonstrate their love for the country by withdrawing their children from private universities both within and outside Nigeria and stop health tourism by using the health facilities they provide for Nigerians.
He insisted that the union would not resume work until the government fully implements the agreement reached with the union.
Meanwhile, President of UNDA, Dayo Alabi, said the education fund being launched would be in aid of indigent but intellectually sound and gifted Uneme people in all the communities in the state.

After 2 Rounds Of Sex, She Still Wants More -Husband Seeks Divorce Because His Wife Is Never Sexually Satisfied

A 42-year-old- factory worker, Mr Sola Babarinde, has asked an Orile-Agege Customary Court in Lagos State to dissolve his 11-year-old marriage to his wife, Nurat, because she threatened to pour acid on his new wife and is never satisfied with sex.

Babarinde had approached the court to seek dissolution of his marriage over allegations of infidelity and threat to his life by his wife.

The resident of 91, Old Otta Road, Orile-Agege in Lagos State, told the court that his wife, Nurat, had taken to adultery, does not cook for him anymore and has an extremely high libido.

“My wife is never satisfied in bed, she asks for more even when we have gone two rounds, she behaves more like a man than a woman. Because of this, she goes out at will and comes home late at night. I have never enjoyed my union with her.

“She left me for six months and before she came back, I had taken another wife to take care of the two children she left for me,” he said.

Babarinde further alleged that Nurat threatened to pour acid on the new wife if she refused to leave the house for her.

“I can’t accept Nurat back because she has done a lot of damage to my life. I want the court to dissolve the union and grant me custody of my children,” he said.

However, 36-year-old Nurat denied all the allegations, adding that her husband was lying just to get rid of her.

Nurat, a trader and resident of 9, Gbadamosi Street, Orile-Agege, stated that since her husband didn’t want her again, she was also ready for divorce.

She also levelled allegations against Babarinde.

She stated: “My husband married another wife while I was sick and was taken out of Lagos for treatment.

“He goes around with anything in skirt and he is always drunk whenever he comes back from work. He came here to lie against me just because he doesn’t want me again.

“I met him when he was wearing rags and now that he thinks he has something, he said he is tired of me,” she said.

The court president, Mr Joseph Adewusi, told the couple to maintain peace and adjourned the case for judgment.

Aparecido Castaldo, a retired stone cutter from Jundiai, Brazil has decided to marry his beloved Carmella, a goat. Because no Christian minister would agree to perform the marriage ceremony, the two will be wed by a known satanic leader, in the Church of the Devil.

The happy couple will walk, or trot, down the aisle on October 13 in Igreja do Diabo, or Devil’s Church, in the city of Jundiai, Brazil.

74-year old Aparecido has been in love with the pet for two years and says a goat has advantages over a human companion.

The ceremony is scheduled for midnight and will be followed by a big party on All Souls’ Day the following day.

‘Whenever someone says I am doing something wrong I reply the goat does not speak, ask for money to go shopping and doesn’t get pregnant – and she can’t talk.’

The ceremony will be conducted by a bishop who said the pair will not be consummating the marriage.

‘This is not the first goat he has, because he likes animals. He just needs a companion. There will be no intercourse between the two.

German Man Gives Birth to Baby Boy

A Berlin man has become the first in Germany to give birth to a baby. He identifies as male, but has a female reproductive system.

The baby boy was born on March 18th this year in a home birth, as hospitals are required to write the name of the mother in their records when a child is born.

It was delivered with the help of a midwife in the Neukölln area of Berlin. On government records the new father, who is transgender, is registered as a man.

This makes him the first male in Germany to give birth, Berlin newspapers reported on Monday.

He reportedly became pregnant through a sperm donation. Officially the child does not have a mother, only a father.

The case is reminiscent of transgender Thomas Beatie who has given birth to three children in the US.

Transgender people are able to give birth to children because even when a woman undergoes hormone therapy to become more physically masculine, they can retain female sex organs.
