“The decision to stick to music is one of my best decisions but getting married to my wife, Annie is the best decision I have ever made. Also, going solo in 2004 was another best decision of my life.It’s not been easy-o but at the same time, it’s not as scary as people make it look. However, marriage is not a walk through the park; it’s not a tea party.
“Marriage also is not only about enjoyment always. Just like roses have thorns, you must learn to give and take because marriage is just like work. What you put in is what you get but it becomes hell when you are married to someone and you both don’t understand yourselves.”On how they find time to spend together. Tuface says the basic truth is that time must be created for a marriage to work hence so they time out hang out, go shopping and do things husbands and wives do.
“Her personality really matters to me a lot. She is hard working, very friendly and beautiful and all these qualities joined together just blew my mind.”
“It depends on who caused the fight,” Tuface continues beaming with a smile, “sometimes I look for trouble and still wait for her to apologise and at other times she’s at fault and still wants me to apologise. But most of the time I’m the person that apologises first because you know women and their Wahala,” he says with a soft laugh.Forty years after, when he looks back, is there anything he wishes he could have done differently?
“I’m not one that likes to regret. I feel that whatever happens has happened. The only thing I think is how to blend and turn things around positively. I don’t just sit down, fold my hands and regret. Instead I re-adjust and re-align and forge ahead.”
“He would just wave his hand and say ‘bye bye guys, take care of yourselves’,” she says, mimicking a stern and unfriendly male voice, adding, “So we always saw him as a selfish lawyer.”However, one day, Tatafo summoned all the courage she could and decided to confront him.
“On that fateful day, I summoned courage and as he was leaving, I told him, ‘sir, you don’t buy us anything any time you come but we really like you. If you can be buying us doughnuts and soft drinks, we would be very grateful’. He started laughing, so I quickly added, ‘sir, it’s not only me o. My colleagues are also involved, so please don’t tell our boss’.”Indeed, Tatafo’s move paid off as her future husband laughed it off after which he reached into his pockets and gave them ‘something’ for lunch.
“We were so happy I asked for his phone number which he gave me. And then I gave his number to my friends and we all started calling to thank him. He realised that we really desired the doughnuts and soft drinks so whenever he came by, he would give us money for doughnuts and soft drinks. He never failed to deliver whenever he showed up and we never stopped thanking him. And then one day, he took a good look at me and said ‘baby, I love you’ and the rest is history.”

In a recent interview with HipTV, Modenine shrugged off the notion that the message in Reminisce’s hit song ‘Local Rappers’ was directed at him or any other rapper, saying no rapper in his right senses would say punchlines in raps don’t count anymore.
This comes after there have been rumuored disaffection among rappers who rap in pure English, because some of them feel the song was targeted at them.
In the song which also features Olamide and Phyno, Reminisce and his pals had declared in the song that‘punchlines don’t bring in the money anymore’ and many who have listened to the song believe the jibe in the song was directed most especially at MI and Modenine.
However, Modenine says, “ It’s a lovely song.” “When I heard it I felt it was a satire meant to ruffle some feathers though but it cannot be directed at artistes who still use punchlines in their raps.
We all know that punchlines still and will forever bring in the money. Iconic actress, Bimbo Akintola, was recently spotted at an event looking trimmed down and ravishing. Known to spark off controversy, it was not surprising when many people attributed her new looks to liposuction.

Don Jazzy got himself another award over the weekend although this time around it was a honorary award rather than an award to celebrate his art.
The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim & Seraphim church worldwide during the weekend gave the Mavin Records chief an award to certify him as a worthy son of the church. The recognition took place at the C&S HQ in Tejuosho, Lagos.
In reaction to the honorary award, Michael Collins’ (Don Jazzy ) father took to his Facebook page to share never seen before photos of the ace producer from the days beyond. Don Jazzy has also confirmed he is still a regular worshiper of the church.
The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim is the first African initiated church established in 1925 by Moses Orimolade Tunolase.
The church was born out of the Anglican church community among the Yoruba people in Western Nigeria.
BBA star, Tayo Faniran has said he is not getting married anytime soon, neither is he under any pressure to get married to the mother of his son. The 6 footer told Punch that he is currently cohabiting with his baby mama.
