Kate Henshaw Speaks About Getting Suspended From Twitter

Nollywood star actress, Kate Henshaw, recently got suspended from Twitter for unknown reasons, and is now speaking about the ordeal and why she remained suspended for so long.

See Kate’s comments and photo after the cut:

A few days ago, I wanted to send out a tweet but to my surprise found that my account had been suspended. One of the processes required to unsuspend my account was to write an appeal. Appeal? When I had done nothing wrong??! Also one required that I add my phone number.. I tried to…..it told me I had not put in a valid phone number.. At this point I gave up. A few friends reached out to me because as far as I was concerned, I am blameless in this whole saga. I decided to leave it to them to decide to restore the account on their own because I was sure nothing wrong was done on my part….definitely!!

Anyway, so today I tried again and was sent this message of apology which also included warning me to behave… Na wa..

For the love of my fans, my work and brands that I represent I followed the instructions and presto, account back on.

If in the future you dont see me on Twitter anymore, it will be that an incident like this has occurred again and I have let it go. Social media has a way of trying to dominate one’s life as we advance in technology. There has to be a balance. It will not rule mine.

Here is a lady expressing herself, I woke up this morning with the news of another home base celebrity choosing a white chick over us Haba! Na wetin na?

We help in making you popular by buying your CD’s and DVD’s, watching your movies, watching you play soccer and after so much shouting and screaming at the top of our voices in support of your career what do we get in return? Nothing! Instead you chose to date and marry the white chick. Where were they when we were screaming and shouting our strength out in support of your career?

Very soon Europeans will ban you guys from dating their girls just like Kenya did. In a nutshell, all am saying is that you should start investing in us.

PDP Says They’ll Never Hang Buhari’s Portrait In Their Offices

The PDP has refused to hang the official portrait of President Muhammadu Buhari at the party’s national secretariat, Wadata House national secretariat, located at Zone 5, Abuja, despite the fact that it has removed that of former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh on Tuesday said:

“We will never hang his portrait in this office, because President Buhari is not known to our party. He is not a leader of our party and therefore we will never put his portrait here. We are a political party, very partisan and therefore, we are not going to hide that,”

Metuh said the APC did not hang the portrait of former Pres. Jonathan in its offices while he was in office. Hence they wouldn’t hang Pres Buhari’s portrait because he is not a member of their party.

He said:

“We will never hang his portrait in this office, because President Buhari is not known to our party. He is not a leader of our party and therefore we will never put his portrait here. We are a political party, very partisan and therefore, we are not going to hide that”

The APC National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Lai Mohammed, expressed shock at Metuh’s comment saying:
“This is ridiculous and we have no comment. Let Nigerians judge the PDP on this matter,” Mohammed said.

He said the PDP spokesman had a shallow understanding of the concept of opposition politics.
