Five Star Music Releases Statement On Skiibii’s Rumoured Death

OFFICIAL STATEMENT, UPDATE ON SKIIBII’S CONDITION: ‘SKIIBII COLLAPSED, ADMITTED BUT RECOVERING IN HOSPITAL

‘We the entire Five Star Music received with great shock the news of the demise of our artiste in the person of Abbey Toyyib Elias a.k.a Skiibii. The wide spread rumor of Skiibii being dead that shook the airwaves and social media platforms this morning is confirmed false. The 22 year old talented musician signed to Five Star Music is fine and alive. Given that he had a minor health issue this morning, He collapsed and was rushed by his brother & his friends to a nearby hospital from where he was taken to a more equipped hospital by the intervention of the CEO of Five Star Group for further treatment. Skiibii is currently recuperating at a private hospital, Please disregard negative information hitherto passed. Death is not something to play with. Kcee and Five Star Manager Soso Soberekon are currently in Europe on a tour.

On his suppose demise as confirmed by Five Star Music or the label’s manager – At best, it was a miscommunication. Comedian Akpororo Proposes To His Lover During Church Service

Ace Nigerian comedian, Akpororo recently proposed to his lover during the first Sunday of the month service.
The comedian and his boo attended the same church; Ultimate Power Ministry. A close source to the comedian shared the story.

“The life changing anointing service did not come to an end without entertainment infused in between as some of house of the finest comedians trilled the congregation with unending laffta! The comedians at the service include, Shortfamily, Laffdoctor, Wiseone and Ovie (The generous).

Akpororo was not left out as he cracked jokes and also performed four of his songs from his album. His joy knew no bound as he sang and danced as never before, nobody knew what his plans was.

However, somewhere in the middle of the whole activities (choreography, choir rendition and sermon) the comedian was no where to be found.

Just as the pastor was rounding off the closing prayer, four children walked up to the altar with each of them carrying a cardboard paper, and when they got to the middle, they all turned to face the congregation as they open the cardboard paper with “WILL YOU MARY ME” boldly written on it.

The whole church thought it was a joke, still, Akpororo was no where around.At that point, the Bishop in-charge of Ultimate Power Ministry, Bishop Isreal Mathew, walked up and said, “one of my sons is asking someone here this question”.

Just then, AKPORORO walked up to the altar and knelt down in front of Jossy or Josephine (the only light skinned lady among the Explicit Dance Crew) and popped the one million dollar question, “Will you marry me”? with tears and smile of joy, Josephine said, “YES!”

KCee Gives Out N70k On Stage In Makurdi

Five Star Music recording artiste KCee made headlines again at the weekend when he gave out the sum of N70,000 at the Star Music Trek 2015 #MakurdiRocks concert at IBB Square, Makurdi.

While belting out hits like ‘Pullover’, ‘Limpopo’, ‘Hakuna Matata’ and ‘Your Face’ to the delight of the capacity crowd, he decided to put on an impromptu dance contest for members of the audience. The fan who came first in the contest was rewarded with N50,000 on the spot while the second placed fan was given N20,000.

The show, which also featured performances from 2Face, Runtown, Yemi Alade and MI amongst others, was the first of the second phase of this year’s Star Music Trek.

Timaya Faces At Least 8 years In Jail If Found Guilty On Rape Case

If found guilty of the rape allegations levelled against him after a trial, Timaya faces at least 8 years in jail. Photo: Instagram Nigerian singer, Timaya is the subject of a rape allegation. The accuser, identified as Shella B, kicked off the saga on Friday, July 24 by dedicating an Instagram account to ‘exposing’ the popular Nigerian act. Tagged exposingtherealtimaya, Shella accused the Bayelsa State-born singer of sexually assaulting her during his time in Atlanta on July 18, 2015.

Timaya faces between 2 and 14 years in jail if found guilty at the end of a fair trial. Commenting on the matter, a legal practitioner, Efe Ugboro, said the process of filing the case and investigation is almost the same expect that the US legal system is more thorough and the law is enforced on stronger terms.

Citing Sections 357 and 358 of the Nigerian criminal Code, she said ‘any offence that has to do with rape, once established, carries a jail term of between 2 and 14 years.’

Dwelling on the relevant part of the Nigerian law, she states further: ‘The Section 357 and 358 of the Criminal Code Cap “C38”, Laws of the Federation, 2004, states: ‘In plain language, a person has committed rape when he has sexual relations (carnal knowledge) with a woman against her will.’

In addition, a website, www.sexoffenderattorney.com focuses on the interpretation of the law in the United States, hinting of a jail term of nothing less than 8 years.

‘Across the United States, the average prison time for rape is between 8 and 9 years’ but it remains to be seen how the case will go in the weeks and months ahead.

Bill Gates Wife Fetches Water, Washes Dishes In Malawi | Photos

Melinda Gates, wife of the richest man in the world, Bill Gates and co-founder of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation washed dishes with women in Malawi during her recent visit.

The 51-year-old mother of three disclosed that during her visit to the country, she joined women to fetch water. She cheerfully recounted how she carried 20 litres of water on her head, something she never did.

She further said it was a sweet and nice experience, but it was tough for her.

She added, “The woman in the middle, Chrissy, carried 40 litres of water and I was very impressed at how the women were able to do this with ease.”
