In a recent interview with ES magazine , North’s mom, Kim, revealed that she wants North to have to work for what she wants just like she did.

“I was saying that earlier to my friends, ‘I wonder what [North’s] first job is gonna be’. And they were like, ‘What? She’s gonna have a job?’ and I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Of course she is.’ She will have to work for what she wants,” Kim explained.

Kim went on to explain how when she was a teenager in high school she worked in a clothing store so that she could save up money to buy herself designer things. One day, she hopes to instill the same values on North so that she can have the things she wants and work hard to be just as successful as her parents.

Each time I listen to Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, I tell myself this is the kind of leader we need in Nigeria, not those who don’t know their bearings.

By now, one would think someone like 9ice will surround himself with people who can make him a polished man and not the dropout singer that God smiled on and made his ‘Gongo Aso’ single a hit, which later enabled him sing for late Nelson Mandela. Since he made his intention known to contest in the House of Representatives elections in 2015 with the aim of representing the good people of Ogbomosho, Oyo State, there have been different views on his ability to deliver, noting some of his widely reported flaws.

Above is one of his campaign posters on the internet and it is very disheartening to note that at this stage, 9ice cannot get a proof reader to crosscheck every message he passes out to the public. Please note ‘Ogbomosho must be renew’.

9ice, haba, spend this money to achieve your ambition. Is this the kind of politician we want to breed at this stage? If yes, I would advise you return to school first before joining politics. The Carters are drunk in love Beyoncé and Jay Z have squashed the breakup rumors once and for all by reportedly renewing their vows.

According to People, the superstar

wedding anniversary in April, recently renewed their vows.

“They did have major problems,” a

worked it out and they’ve renewed

Jennifer Lopez has entered negotiations with bosses of The Axis , Planet Hollywood about receiving $350,000 per show as part of a 72-gig deal over a one or two-year period, according to TMZ.

The huge sum per performance is said to be even more than Britney Spears ‘ $310,000 to play a show at the same venue. But Britney is set to earn more than her fellow singer as she reportedly signed a deal to perform 96 gigs over two years, meaning she will earn $29.7 million overall.

However, neither Jennifer nor Britney can match Celine Dion‘s huge deal as the music legend –who is on an indefinite hiatus to care for her 72- year-old spouse René Angélil, who has throat cancer - earns an incredible $33.3 million for 70 shows a year.

I went Into Drug Trafficking For My Wedding-Aba Drug Dealer Tells NDLEA

A 40-year-old patent medicine dealer arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has blamed his alleged culpability on the quest to raise money for his wedding billed for December.

The suspect, Chike Pauline,was
reportedly arrested during the outward screening of passengers on Rwanda Air flight at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, Monday, with one kilogramme of substance suspected to be methamphetamine.

During preliminary investigation, NDLEA Airport Commander, Hamza Umar, said the Aba-based businessman was discovered to be travelling to Bujumbura, Burundi.

In his confessional statement, the suspect said: “I am a patent medicine dealer in Aba, Abia State. My arrest is very unfortunate because I am a hardworking person. “I was deceived into drug trafficking because I was desperate to perform my marriage ceremony by the end of the year. “I was optimistic that I will not be arrested, but things did not go according to my expectation. 

“What must I do to set myself free from this predicament?” he asked, begging not to be allowed to be confined until his proposed wedding.

Reacting to the arrest, Chief Executive of the anti-narcotic agency, Ahmadu Giade, said: “The arrest of Chike will serve as a warning to others that they will ultimately be caught with drugs and prosecuted. “It does not matter if the trafficker is going to other African countries or outside the continent; we are prepared to intercept all drugs. “I urge members of the public to support the agency’s drug control efforts.”

‘I see Anaconda as a normal video’ – Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj has attracted criticism for the highly sexual video, which features Nicki in a g-string and a host of scantily-clad babes twerking and writhing around to the music in the jungle- set promo.

However, Nicki insists she is bemused by the outrage her video caused, insisting it depicts nothing more shocking than the dancing that would happen at a girls’ slumber party.
