According to a police source, the deceased had visited his girlfriend identified only as Bridget at about 10:00 in the morning. He was preparing to leave when he suddenly slumped and died. Bridget, who reported the matter at the police station, said she had gone into the bathroom when her lover slumped and died.
CSP Nuruddeen Sabo, Gwarinpa Divisional Police Officer, said the woman was in custody and the body has been taken to Asokoro District Hospital for autopsy. Investigation is ongoing, he added.
