Lil Wayne Is Suing Birdman and Cash Money Records for $51 Million

TMZ has obtained Wayne's
lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money, in which Wayne is asking a judge to end his contract with the label. Additionally, Wayne is suing Birdman for a total of $51 million, as well as the rights to take Drake and Nicki Minaj with him.

According to TMZ , if Lil Wayne
does indeed leave Cash Money, he wants to bring the entire Young Money Entertainment roster with
him, which includes Drake and Nicki Minaj. The entire roster features the likes of Gudda Gudda, Jae Millz, Mack Maine, Lil Twist, Tyga, and more, though Cash Money
handles distribution for all of the artists.

Even though he dropped Sorry 4 the Wait 2 earlier this week, Lil Wayne wants Tha Carter V out as
soon as possible and he's still anxiously trying to get off Cash Money, as well. TMZ is reporting
that Wayne is taking Birdman to court and will sue him for $8 million in advances. Wayne claims that Birdman is violating their contract by withholding the release of Tha Carter V but, as we've reported earlier, Birdman claims he'll
release the album "in due time."
